Reset Intelligence: Iran Moves After a Nuclear Warning.
By Reset Intelligence | @EXIT_FIAT
On Sunday evening, Eastern time, Tucker Carlson told his followers the Trump administration "may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran." The post has been viewed over 80 million times. None of it is confirmed, and the White House would not comment on military plans.
Within a day Iran's president said the supreme leader had given the government powers to pursue a diplomatic way out. On Monday Trump wrote: "Iran wants a settlement, as soon as possible. It could happen!" Oil fell 7.6%, its biggest drop since July.
The tell
The same night, American officials told a US newspaper their forces had struck Iran's Qeshm Island, the latest in a series of limited strikes kept quiet on purpose. Pressure and an open door, in the same evening. Iran's negotiators left Doha with no breakthrough, Vice President JD Vance says progress has been made, and a draft deal is circulating.
What else moved
The vote - Americans vote on Tuesday: all 435 House seats, 35 of the Senate's 100 and governors in 36 states. It is the most expensive midterm on record.
The jet - 9 people died in Palm Beach County on Sunday. Officially it was a Learjet 60 bound for the Bahamas. Online, some say it was a drone or a missile. None of it has been confirmed by an investigation yet, the official account included.
The lights - hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian households lost power after Russian strikes, the whole Canary Island of La Palma went dark on Monday, and a substation fault cut power blocks from the White House. None has been tied to an attack.
The cash - Iraq's deputy prime minister, Mohammed Ali Tamim, says the street rate "will not exceed 2 points" over the official rate. The second load of cash due Monday has not been confirmed. The Central Bank says the next shipment arrives within 1 to 2 weeks.
The middlemen - on Monday the Central Bank withdrew the licences of 2 currency dealing firms and an investment company.
The budget - rumours say it is done, with Erbil at 14.14%. There has been no cabinet vote. The date to watch is still November 15.
Baghdad's street - closed Monday at 168,250 IQD for $100, against the bank's 152,000.
The question
Washington is pressing Tehran on every front at once, in the same week Baghdad waits on cash and its street dollar has not moved. What does that mean for the IQD you hold?
That is the short version. Why we see every tool pointed at the same end, and what it means for Iraq - that is the daily read.
