News is broadcasting that the name for the Prime Minister will be presented to the president next week.
Al Sunal is named as the selection for Prime Minister candidate by the Shiites....who are backed by the Iranians.
Barzani's group is stating that an agreement has been reached to bring Mahdi back to the Prime Minster position.
Iraqi TV is broadcasting much confusion regarding the selection of the Prime Minister.
Baghdad News is reporting that Iran's second largest city is on the verge of disaster due to the coronavirus.

Iraqi TV in Baghdad is broadcasting that a Prime Minister candidate will be named TODAY and all parties will agree.
The CBI governor, Alaq, announced on national TV that 30 billion dinar was being committed to fight the coronavirus. A one-week curfew for Baghdad is starting on Tuesday.

Work is continuing to expand the educational cycle on the importance of electronic payment and its positive impact on the national and family economies.
An awareness seminar on the salary settlement project and electronic payment tools was organized for a number of managers and specialists for the relevant departments in the Ministry of Interior, organized by the Al-Rajih Islamic Bank.
The bank’s education director, Abeer Al-Jubouri, said: “The shift towards electronic transactions represents the goal of everyone, as it is safer, and enhances trust between the public and the banking system, especially that localization coincides with many services that the bank provides to the public in general and home to their salaries in particular.”
He referred to "the interaction of the participants with the content of the symposium and demanded to intensify this type of symposium because it is important to keep pace with the needs of the times and benefit from electronic payment services safely, and this symposium came after the signing of the salary settlement agreement for employees of the Ministry of Interior."
He had directed the central bank to go towards electronic payment in transactions because it is safer in its financial and health aspects, and he urged everyone to own electronic cards and adopt them in daily transactions, as a first step towards the actual transition to electronic dealing. LINK

The Oil and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives confirmed on Saturday that Iraq needs a diplomatic move to stop or reduce interest payments on its debts.
Member of the Committee, Sadiq Al-Sulaiti said, "Iraq’s debts are large due to the previous budgets, which requires the payment of interest. Therefore, we need a diplomatic move to stop or reduce interest payments." He added that "there are several proposals submitted to the Ministry of Oil with a formal letter to take appropriate measures, including reducing the cost and costs of extracting oil, as it differs between extracted through national companies and licensing tour companies."
He called Sulaiti, to "the formation of specialized committees to reduce the expenses of rounds of petroleum licensing and activating the role of the joint administration and the transfer of exchange powers specified twenty million dollars and reduced to five million dollars and follow-up retail orders and supplements contracts", stressing the need to "check all expenses of licenses and the health of the doors of spending with Canceling security companies ’contracts or reducing them to 25% and assigning the Ministry of Interior and Defense to provide land for these companies.

He stressed "the necessity of checking the quantities of crude oil produced and prepared by the region and numbering the accounts in which the sums are deposited and developing a plan in coordination with the security agencies to stop the operations of smuggling crude oil and oil derivatives that cause a waste of public money."
