butterfly UAE signs deal with Iraq to protect and promote investments
The two countries agree to protect their investments from all non-commercial risks and boost foreign capital https://www.thenationalnews.com/business/2021/10/19/uae-signs-deal-with-iraq-to-protect-and-promote-investments/ The UAE has signed an agreement with Iraq to promote and protect mutual investments, as the Emirates seeks to strengthen economic co-operation with a number of different countries.
The accord, signed by the UAE Ministry of Finance and Iraq's National Investment Commission, will boost foreign investment in both countries by providing a suitable investment environment and secure a balance between rights and obligations between investors and the host country, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
“This helps enhance the UAE’s competitiveness and investment attractiveness on the global competitiveness map,” said Younis Al Khoori, undersecretary at the Ministry of Finance.
The UAE and Iraq have been strengthening trade ties, with a flurry of deals signed by companies in recent months.
Earlier this month, UAE energy company Masdar signed a deal with Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity and National Investment Commission to build power stations in five locations across Iraq.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Ports Group signed a preliminary agreement last month with the General Company for Ports of Iraq (GCPI), to explore potential investment opportunities and strengthen co-operation in transportation and maritime sectors.
butterfly The UAE-Iraq accord protects both countries' investments from all non-commercial risks, including nationalisation, confiscation, judicial seizures and freezing, according to the statement.
Signing such agreements reaffirms UAE’s keenness to “protect Emirati investments abroad” and provide the “appropriate environment to attract foreign investments in accordance with a legal and legislative system that is in line with best international practices”, Mr Al Khoori said.
It also covers “transfer of profits and revenues in convertible currency and provides investors a just and immediate compensation for their investments in case of their appropriation for the public interest”, the ministry said.
The UAE has signed 103 bilateral agreements to protect and encourage investment with different countries around the world, the ministry said.
Iraq, the second-largest oil producer in the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, has taken tentative steps to restructure its economy away from fossil-fuel dependency as the world prepares to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
The World Bank estimates Iraq’s economy will grow 1.9 per cent this year, and expand 6.3 per cent over the next two years, on the back of rebounding oil prices and rising Opec+ production quotas. Non-oil gross domestic product is forecast to recover in 2021, growing by 5.5 per cent.

butterfly Head of the Sadrist Movement's political body: The government will be formed in record time

Al-Rubaie stressed that there are some parties that called before the elections for a political majority, but after losing it they want political consensus without explicitly declaring it, and they want with this consensus to keep the state walking the lame gait and touching the blind’s touch, pointing out that it must be binary (authority - opposition) for our faith The existence of real oversight from the opposition on the government to evaluate and monitor its performance.
For his part, the Russian ambassador congratulated the Sadrist bloc on its victory in the 2021 legislative elections, expressing his country's readiness to support Iraq and cooperate with it in various fields. https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=934115

butterfly THIS ONE IS FOR YOU @DAVE: Al-Maliki’s return… a head hits the chest wall
10-19-2021 Al-Malikis return... a head hits the chest wallFormer Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki seeks to win the largest parliamentary bloc, and to return again to the premiership. The State of Law Coalition; The winner is 36 seats. He does not hide these ambitions, but he is facing his opponent, Muqtada al-Sadr, and his allies from the losing factions, which are looming with military action on the ground.
A source close to al-Maliki said that al-Maliki “tested all the winners of the elections about their orientations in the coalition.” He is now considering the next step. According to leaders in the State of Law Coalition; “Al-Maliki wants to form the largest bloc, without excluding his traditional opponents in the Shiite arena.”
Al-Maliki is seen, seven years after his departure from the presidency, as a “man of crisis”, with a history of problematic political and security incidents, but the results of the recent elections put him again on the path of competition. Al-Maliki is superior to many in his ability to negotiate, and his ability to design political messages, adapting them to the public at times, and to his partners or opponents at other times. However, the choice to trust him is still questionable and divided.
During the past few days, the writer conducted interviews with 3 Iraqi leaders, who were known for their opponents of al-Maliki between 2010 and 2014, and collected contradictory impressions about the current scene. The summary of those dialogues showed that al-Maliki is able to “set the Shiite rhythm” and end the engines of turmoil among the forces on the ground, but he is also “inclined to turn against partners, and he has ambitions to limit influence to his hand and his entourage.”
butterfly All Iraqi political forces are reluctant to show a clear position on joining an alliance led by al-Maliki. With regard to the Sunni and Kurdish blocs, they prefer “waiting for a Shiite-Shiite consensus to address the crisis caused by the losers in the polls.”
A Kurdish political advisor says: “The calculations are complicated! If we agree with al-Maliki, what will al-Sadr do? Where will the weapons of the factions, whose seats in Parliament have fallen to about 20, go?
but chest; The winner of 73 seats in the new parliament confuses al-Maliki’s calculations. The latter is also aware that “the Sadrist movement” leads the list of winners with the largest number of seats.
Although al-Maliki actually began designing his strategy for the major bloc; It provides political support for those objecting to the election results, and to a large extent agrees with the factions that accuse the authorities of rigging them. the case; This will not be a contradiction, but rather a maneuver by al-Maliki to open a window of agreement between him and the others.
Among the options that seem available to al-Maliki is to take advantage of the pressure exerted by the factions on the street, to reach an understanding with al-Sadr to settle differences and form a major bloc that offers some guarantees to the losers. “Al-Maliki knows, despite everything, that he is unable to oust al-Sadr”; Says a senior politician from “the rule of law.”
butterfly A source from within “State of Law” says that al-Maliki believes that the international community – the United States in particular – does not prefer dealing with a Sadrist government, under a political platform that raises anti-Western slogans. It seems that al-Maliki is trying to formulate a hypothesis that will force al-Sadr to negotiate.
On the other hand; The chest seems calmer than necessary. The last time he sent a message to al-Maliki, was when one of his aides tweeted about the mistakes and mistakes of the “Dawa Party”, but it included a veiled reference to the negotiation: “He (Al-Maliki) tried and did not succeed … and the tried does not try.”
But the chest itself; Whoever insisted on an exclusive Sadrist government has relatively retreated from that. He wrote last week that “winning first in the elections is not more important than meeting the needs of all Iraqis.”
the case; Negotiations to form the new government will not be easy at all. The results, which appear to be mathematically decisive, open the door to difficulties in terms of disengaging or exaggerating the conflict between Maliki and al-Sadr.
Butterfly Zig did you read the article about Maliki............OMG.

butterfly A delegation from the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is participating in the consultations to bring together the different blocs. However, the results still put both sides of the “Shiite duo” in front of a clear numerical shortage.
Abdul-Hussein Al-Hindawi: It is up to the commission to complete the appeals or re-election
In principle, the Sadr bloc, which has 73 seats, can form a “larger bloc” with the Kurdish bloc, which has about 57 seats, to gather 130 seats. Al-Maliki’s bloc can also gather about 132 other seats by including the Muhammad al-Halbousi and Khamis al-Khanjar blocs, which have about 59 seats, along with some independents.
But the most important calculation is that neither side of the “Shiite duo” can proceed with the formation of the government in isolation from the other party, because this will eventually lead to the outbreak of an armed conflict, in which neither of them will likely exit.
Iran guaranteed al-Maliki’s bloc support from the two Sunni lists led by al-Halbousi and al-Khanjar to put pressure on al-Sadr, so that he does not exaggerate in seeking to form a government alone.
Well-informed political sources said that Ismail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force, met with al-Halbousi and al-Khanjar on the fourth of this month inside the Iranian embassy in Ankara after the end of their meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and obligated them to continue their alliance with the state forces under the command of Nuri al-Maliki and Hadi al-Amiri.
butterfly The same debate over recount can last for weeks or even months. Although the Electoral Commission provided indications that the percentage of votes being examined does not exceed 6 percent of the total votes, changing the percentage of seats could raise more objections and appeals, which can only end in one of two ways:
First, that The two sides of the Shiite conflict stop quarreling with each other, so that the small details of their agreement diminish in front of their agreement, or that the elections take place in their entirety.
This is a danger that could awaken all the ghosts of fears again, including the return of the parties that decided to boycott to enter the competition, so the chances of the pro-Iranian parties recede again, and with them the chances of the Sadr bloc as well, for a force of independents, “Octobers” and others to emerge, making matters more complicated for everybody.
Adviser to the Prime Minister for Elections Affairs, Abdul-Hussein Al-Hindawi, said, “It is up to the commission to decide between completing the consideration of the appeals and calling for a re-election. The government never interferes in the commission’s work.
He stressed that the government’s role is limited to two duties: providing logistical support to the commission and providing appropriate security conditions for the elections.
Observers believe that al-Sadr is too weak to go with the option of forming a bloc in isolation from al-Maliki’s bloc. While the head of the political body of the Sadrist movement, Nassar al-Rubaie, was quoted as saying that the next prime minister will be from the Sadrist movement, and that his movement will be responsible for the next government, but hours did not pass until the statement was denied.
butterfly In paving the way for an atmosphere that allows saving the political system based on the solidarity of Shiites loyal to Iran and hesitant, al-Maliki said that “the democratic path is the only way to embody the will of the people and produce the authority that expresses its free and independent decision. And he will remain keen on him and defending him, no matter the cost.”
What is meant by the “democratic political system, its stability and sustainability” is the sectarian quota system, which must continue with its previous mechanisms.
These mechanisms are based on the different groups and militias sharing positions of influence within the state, which is the same reality that allowed all these groups to become hegemonic powers. This is something that serves the interests of these parties as well as the interests of Iran, and keeps the country subject to the same cycle. rawabetcenter.com

10-17-2021 Final results of the 2021 Iraqi elections - Minor changes that keep the Sadrist movement in first placeThe High Electoral Commission in Iraq announced, at midnight, Saturday-Sunday, the final results of the 2021 Iraqi elections, which were held last Sunday, amid unprecedented security measures in Baghdad, following a statement issued by political forces allied to Tehran in which they rejected the election results completely and considered them contested.
“These results are preliminary and can be challenged,” said the head of the Commission’s Council, Judge Adnan Jalil, in a press conference held in Baghdad within the Green Zone, stressing that “we are obligated to stand at the same distance from all candidates,” noting that the rate of participation in the elections It reached 43%.
While he revealed that “3681 electoral stations were manually counted during the past days,” Jalil did not mention the names of the winning forces or the number of parliamentary seats they obtained, but indicated that they are now available on the official website of the commission on the Internet.
However, observers confirmed that the site, due to the great pressure, came back and stopped several times during the minutes that followed the announcement of the results, and that the results were distributed among 18 governorates without the Electoral Commission collecting the results and submitting them once, until 12:10 pm Baghdad time.

On Saturday evening, the political forces allied to Iran anticipated announcing the final results of the elections with a new statement after a meeting they held in Baghdad, emphasizing their “complete rejection” of the election results, considering that they were challenged.
Arab reports: The “coordinating framework” anticipates the announcement of the results of the Iraqi elections by rejecting it.
In contrast to that statement, the leader of the “Sadr movement,” Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a statement declaring his acceptance of the election results, adding that “from now on, the elections and their results should not be a topic and a door.” disputes, disagreements, and conflicts.
Butterfly Units of the Iraqi army, police and counter-terrorism forces were deployed in Baghdad and several cities, most notably Najaf, Karbala and Babil, in anticipation of angry reactions to the election results.
The Al-Araby Al-Jadeed correspondent in Baghdad said that the security deployment of army and police units is still continuing in areas of Baghdad, especially in the vicinity of the Green Zone.
The Iraqi Electoral Commission postponed the date of announcing the results of the elections that took place last Sunday, several times, after stating that it will be at six o’clock in the evening and then nine in the evening local time. rawabetcenter.com

butterfly Al-Kazemi confirms the integrity of the elections and expresses his regret that some have become blackmail, lying and deceiving people
Sunday 17 October 2021 18:30 Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi affirmed the integrity of the elections, expressing his regret that some have become concepts of blackmail, lying, fraud, conflict, and deceiving people.
Al-Kazemi said, during his attendance at the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, which was held at the Imam Abu Hanifa Al-Nu’man Mosque: “We stand here today among our family and loved ones, to celebrate with them the Noble Prophet’s birthday in the city of Adhamiya, dear to the heart.” He pointed out:
"The words of the Noble Qur'an summarize a number of lofty human meanings that characterized the Messenger, and it was the essence of his message, which we always say began with one man and became a nation."
And he explained: “Ethics is the deep meaning of our true religion, and the Greatest Messenger said: “I was sent to perfect morals” because it is the meaning that bestowed on humans their humanity and distinguished them from other creatures.
He added: "Since childhood, I was witnessing the Prophet's birthday in Adhamiya, and in the mosque of Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man, to recall the virtues of our master Muhammad (may God bless him and his family and his companions), whom God Almighty described in his noble saying: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (and that you are of a great character). ".
He expressed his regret that some of these meanings need to be constantly reminded.. the corrupt, for example, is the one who has abandoned his moral values. The policy is meant to really serve the people, and their leadership for the best, and take care of them, solve their conflicts and their problems but have become sadly meant for some extortion concepts, lying, fraud, conflict, and deceive the people. "
Butterfly He said:" Today denied Bahdna to our people to conduct early fair elections, people She chose who will represent her, and these new representatives will exercise their role in the new House of Representatives.

butterfly Iraq announces its oil plan as crude prices rise to record levels
2021.10.17 – 10:08 Iraq announces its oil plan as crude prices rise to record levelsBaghdad – people
The Ministry of Oil confirmed, on Sunday, that Iraq aims to achieve the highest financial revenues by adhering to the OPEC Plus agreement.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Assem Jihad, said in a statement to the official newspaper, followed by “Nass”, (October 17, 2021), that “Iraq was one of the active members in reaching an agreement to reduce production for OPEC Plus, after the great recession that hit the global economy as a result of the repercussions of the spread of Covid-19.” 19, and caused by the inflation of the oil surplus in global markets and the decline in demand for crude as a result of countries’ actions to restrict the movement of their citizens, land and air transport, the decline of the industrial sector and other negative repercussions from the spread of the epidemic.
Jihad added that “the commitment of the producing countries in OPEC and OPEC Plus to reduce production led to their success in controlling the oil surplus in global markets, and raising the price of a barrel below $20 to current prices, as OPEC and OPEC Plus hold their periodic and emergency ministerial meetings as required.”
The conditions and developments of the oil market, preceded by meetings of the governors (representatives of the producing countries in OPEC), and they discuss the developments of the oil market and review reports for the concerned authorities and research centers in OPEC, and in light of this it submits its recommendations to the ministerial meeting.
butterfly He explained that “challenges for the oil market are still present, due to the lack of final control by the countries of the world on the Corona virus and new strains, as well as other circumstances, including security and political tensions, economic conflicts, natural conditions, and others in multiple regions of the world,” noting that “it requires dealing with Caution on the part of the oil-producing countries with the changes in the oil market, and therefore the situation of the oil market can be described as (fragile) as a result of its great influence on the circumstances and variables.
Jihad continued, “The strategy of OPEC and OPEC Plus limits production to the end of 2022 in order to achieve more stability and balance in the oil market,” stressing that “Iraq aims to achieve the highest financial revenues by adhering to the agreement.”
Regarding the prices of Iraqi crude oil, Jihad explained that “the price of Iraqi oil and the producing countries depend on the monthly price of the exported oil and is not subject to daily changes. It achieved significant financial revenues for the state treasury by exporting smaller quantities of crude oil compared to the quantities previously exported, which proves the ministry’s success in implementing its plans and directions. nasnews.com
butterfly Iran is preparing the votes, controlling the blocs, and paving the way for the Maliki-Sadr alliance
10-17-2021 Iran is preparing the votes controlling the blocs and paving the way for the Maliki-Sadr allianceBoth sides of the “Shiite duo” in Iraq are engaged in sharp verbal confrontations, but Iranian calculations say that they will eventually return to agree on an alliance that will lead to the formation of a huge bloc, not just a “bigger” bloc that includes the two parties and includes all the other large blocs.
Nuri al-Maliki, who leads the coordination of Shiite militias and blocs loyal to Iran, called on the High Elections Commission to fix the “glitch” that afflicts the electoral process and not favor any of the competing political parties.
Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the “Sadr Movement” bloc, responded with a message in which he considered al-Maliki’s words “insufficient.” Addressing al-Maliki, he said that “what has been lost cannot be compensated by clinging to power and domination, as he has tried and has not succeeded,” and added that “the tried cannot be tried.”
Iran has sent observers, for its part, to participate in the recounting and counting of votes, and has so far guaranteed an increase in the number of seats for the “State of Law” bloc led by Maliki to 40 seats, and the “Fatah” bloc, which includes militias loyal to it, to 20 seats.
And the influential Iranian newspaper, “Tasnim,” stated that elements of the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence are checking the results of the recounting of a number of departments and the rest of the procedures for manual counting. She said, “The solution to the election results crisis is to count the votes manually, in the presence of representatives of political groups.”

butterfly Al-Sadr reassures America: We will deal with it at all levels
2021-10-16 08:37 Al-Sadr reassures America - We will deal with it at all levelsShafaq News/ On Saturday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, identified seven points for Iraq’s exit from “subordination to anyone”, reassuring at the same time that dealing with the United States in the event that his current adopts the next government will be at all levels “as a state with a state.”
Al-Sadr said in a statement issued today, and received by Shafak News Agency, “Perhaps the most important thing that the world is waiting for in the Sadrist movement assuming the premiership is our position on (America) or (the occupation),” adding, “Here I say: We have some important points that come out Iraq is dependent on anyone, as follows.
Al-Sadr continued, explaining the matter in seven points: On (America): First: Dealing with the Iraqi government in the same way diplomatically and at all levels, meaning: dealing with a state with a state with full sovereignty.
Second: A serious and effective dialogue regarding the survival of its forces, camps, planes, battleships, and interventions in Iraq.
Third: The people’s revolutions and demonstrations are an internal affair, and a matter that does not concern them either closely or not
From afar, all of them are national revolutions, and they must be free from external influence.
Fourth: To keep Iraq, land, air, sea, and people away from its regional conflicts, whatever they may be.. We will not allow anything else from everyone.
Fifthly: We are Iraqis, neither Orientals nor Westerners.. We want to live in peace.. Anything that opposes that, we have an appropriate response.
Sixth: We will deal with it economically or on other levels if the aforementioned points are achieved.. Otherwise, we cannot succumb to pressure and dependency.
butterfly Seventh: If the above is not achieved, then this means that it is a country hostile to Iraq, and does not want its independence, sovereignty and stability.. 2021-10-16 08:32 The Ninety alliance announces the formation of the largest bloc and nominates al-Maliki to head the new governmentShafaq News/ The State of Law bloc, led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, renewed today, Saturday, its adherence to forming the new government after it allied itself with other blocs and independent deputies to become the largest parliamentary bloc, confirming the renaming of al-Maliki as prime minister.
The winner of a new parliamentary session, Muhammad Al-Sayhoud, said in a statement to Shafaq News Agency, that his bloc “concluded a strategic alliance with most of the blocs and lists that won the elections that took place on the tenth of this month, bringing the total of those involved in the formation of the (coordinating framework) to more than 93 deputies.” .
And he indicated that the new alliance includes “the rule of law, the Al-Fateh alliance, Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Kata’ib Hezbollah, the Rights bloc, and other currents, in addition to some independents who found in the new bloc what represents their ambitions to establish a strong state.”
He added, “Our bloc is the largest, and after the approval of the final election results and the convening of the first session of the House of Representatives, we will register (the coordinating framework) as the largest parliamentary bloc, and therefore it will be tasked with naming the government and its head.”
And about the conflict of the new election law with regard to entering into parliamentary alliances before the announcement of the formation of the government, Chihod said, “We are working according to the decisions of the Federal Court, and there is no decision or law that cancels the decisions of the Federal Court, and the decisions of the latter are still valid and binding on all, and against that we formed the largest coalition.”
butterfly He pointed out that “the winning Kurdish lists, along with the Sunni brothers, expressed their desire to enter into an alliance with us to form the government as soon as possible, and then distribute tasks according to executive positions.”
Chihod stressed, “After deciding the announcement and approval of the results of the commission, and naming us with the largest bloc, we will go towards naming the prime minister, and it may be possible to rename al-Maliki as prime minister according to the electoral entitlement of the largest bloc. This does not mean that we have no other candidates for prime minister, and the matter remains subject to political consensus.”
Regarding the coordination framework’s demand for the re-election, he said, “The re-election is difficult, but we demanded a re-counting and manual sorting of all electoral stations.”
And about their alliance with the Sadrist bloc, he explained that “the doors of the coordination framework are open to all Shiite political forces, and those who believe in our political program are welcome.”
In a statement received by Shafak News Agency, Muhammad Salih al-Iraqi, who is close to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, criticized the Islamic Dawa Party with its current leaders, calling for “reforming what has been corrupted before it is too late.”
butterfly Addressing the Dawa Party, he added, “I hope to fix what has been corrupted before it is too late, and what happened in these elections is the best evidence of what I say.”
Earlier today, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Essam Hussein, ruled out the alliance of the Sadrist bloc led by Muqtada al-Sadr with the State of Law coalition, led by Nuri al-Maliki, for the purpose of forming the new Iraqi government.
Hussein told Shafaq News Agency, “The next stage will witness the formation of a coalition government, through the Alliance of the Mighty,” noting that “this coalition will include the political forces that have won large and influential seats in Parliament, and we currently have understandings with many of these political forces.” “.
He added, “All the winners of the early parliamentary elections are close to allying with us, except for the one who contravenes our project and has a power-building project, and for this the State of Law coalition is outside the accounts of the coalition with us,” noting that “anyone who believes in the authoritarian State of Law coalition project is also far from us and will not He has no alliance with him. shafaq.com

Saturday 16 October 2021 | 10:12 am During 2022... Iraq is promised a financial balance caused by oil pricesOn Saturday, the Institute of International Finance expected that Iraq needs a price of 64 dollars per barrel of oil during the next year to achieve financial balance .
The institute stated in a report that “all oil-producing countries will witness a decrease in the oil price to achieve parity or financial balance in the budgets of the oil-exporting countries and without a significant deficit,” noting that this is due to “the rise in oil and gas production in these countries in exchange for limited government spending cuts. ” .

butterfly An informed source: The Sadrist movement was devastated by what it did most to explain the results of the elections that took place six days ago
2021-10-16 An informed source - The Sadrist movement was devastated by what it did most to explain the results of the elections that took place six days agoAn informed source revealed the map of the elections and the political blocs that will form the government after the elections that took place a week ago
In an interview with Buratha News Agency, the source said, far from everything that is said about the elections and their fraud, and far from assessing their causes, the following things are not noticed, in brief: First:
The elections did not present anything new about the real weights, and the change only in the human rights sites, and therefore the real sizes did not change Consequently, the political depth and influence is still almost as it was. As for the change in human rights websites, it is the language of the art of deception and deception, a language that may do more harm than good.
The source added that it can be said that the Sadrist movement was suffocated by what it did most of what was explained to it, so what happened did it lose any possibility of alliance, neither did it get an overwhelming majority, nor did it bring itself close to the rest, so it came back loaded with the weight of victory and its tax, and others came back more efficient than him in reaching alliances
He stressed that the prime ministership is not in numbers, but rather in alliances, and Sunnis and Kurds cannot agree with the Sadrist bloc in such a vital matter, no matter how many promises it gives them.
butterfly The source said that the Shiite audience was scattered within it, and the equation did not result in a preponderance of one over another, and in terms of detail, for example, the reference audience was divided into lists that worked to fragment it, and the results showed a defect in the lists themselves and not in the public, noting that this division was before that It is done through quotas, but this time it was through the public, and it can be said that the audience that was for Al-Fateh, for example, was distributed among the lists that were with it in the past, and we did not witness a significant difference at the level of the elected numbers,
As for the distribution of seats, he added, technical defects and mismanagement, not to mention fraud, had the effect of drawing the picture in this way, and the reference audience proved a failure in attendance more than it proved obedience, and whoever was associated gave his opinion to the brilliance of Kanon, which is an alternative version of the independents of Shahristani is nothing but, and these were with The rule of law and tomorrow they have an independent matter
The source indicated that the extension obtained the share of Allawi and the former Communist Party, and they had nothing new in the equation,
He stressed that the Sadrist movement falsified the results from a technical point of view, and the numbers of the movement do not witness an increase, but its numbers are strikingly less than it was in the 2018 elections.
butterfly He pointed out that although the foreign conspiracy theory exists, but who conspired either: he preferred that the numbers approach each other on the method of pulling his beards, or he was unable to give his edge over others, and therefore we will witness an increase in disagreement and fabricated strife will spread.
As for the Kurds, there is a control over their alliances in the matter of the government, which is their commitment to the Shiite depth, and it is a summary of the position of Najaf, the Republic and the parties, and therefore do not believe in the possibility of emerging from these axes. burathanews.com

Saturday 16 October 2021 The expert in the oil field, Hamza Al-Jawahiri, confirmed that the rise in oil prices and its continuation depend on the decisions of OPEC +.
Al-Jawahiri said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA ) that "the rise in oil prices depends on decisions in (OPEC +), which will decide when this rise will stop because the stocks of the major countries are almost depleted and others have already run out," noting: Speculators and traders, no one knows how much they are keeping, after they have disappeared into the shadows and are also waiting for where the prices will reach during this historic upward journey.”
: "There are other variables, such as imposing a state of coexistence with the Corona epidemic and returning to launching the production wheel at its highest speed, but in light of these facts on the ground, clean energy producers and developers have given a wide space of hope to compete in the energy markets, Another factor is the higher policies of the major countries, as they may change after they are unable to pay energy bills. This matter varies from one country to another."
The expert explained: "These factors combined will have the greatest impact on oil prices in the coming days, which will be full of changes and surprises. The major countries do not have many tools if America abandoned the Trump policy / in reference to the policy of the former president. Trump /".
Al-Jawahiri believed: “The price of oil will drop to below eighty dollars, but it will find very great resistance above ninety dollars for economic and political reasons. As for the repercussions of this on the budget, they are large and good, as they may cover the large deficit in it.” https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=933520

Shafaq News/ A leader of the Sadrist movement, Issam Hussein, said that the upcoming government will be a "coalition of strong parties", excluding the possibility of the State of Law Coalition, led by Nouri al-Maliki, being on board.
In a statement to Shafaq News Agency, Hussein said, "the forthcoming days will witness forming a coalition government via the alliance of the strong [blocs]... This alliance will include the parties that claimed many and influential seats in the Parliament. Currently, we have concluded agreements with many of those forces."
"All the victorious parties are close to us, except for those whose agenda opposes ours and aim to build authority. For this reason, the State of Law Coalition is outside our considerations," he said, "the parties that endorse the authoritative agenda of the State of Law Coalition is also far from us. We would not ally with them as well."
"This agenda aims to seize power and practice intellectual terrorism. This experience is very bad, and it was the most prominent reason for the emergence of the terrorist organization ISIS in Iraq. Therefore, it is not possible to ally with such parties, and they have such agendas."
Butterfly The results of the early parliamentary election showed the Sadrist movement maintaining the most seats in parliament, leading in several of Iraq's 18 provinces, including the capital, Baghdad. Al-Sadr, a controversial leader remembered for leading an insurgency against U.S. forces after the 2003 invasion, appeared to have increased his movement's seats in the 329-member parliament from 54 in 2018 to 73.
With 94% of the ballot boxes counted, none of the competing political blocs appeared on track to win a majority in parliament and consequently name a prime minister. But as the results stand, al-Sadr's bloc will be able to take a leading role in the political horse-trading to find a compromise candidate and set the political agenda for the next four years.
The State of Low Coalition, led by the former Prime Minister of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki, secured 37 seats, fours seat behind al-Taqaddom (Progress) bloc led by the Sunni Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad al-Halboosi.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) led by the Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani has won 32 seats; twice more than Iran's favorite al-Fatah Alliance, which toll of seats diminished to 14 only from 48 in the 2018 elections.

The Iraqi Commission of Integrity (CoI) spokesman Adil Nouri has claimed that half of the government's oil income and funds for reconstruction were 'stolen' and 'vanished' from Iraq during the 8-year period of office of former President Nouri Maliki.
Speaking at the Iraqi Parliament, Nouri said that around 500 billion dollars from government coffers has "disappeared" and is perhaps the greatest corruption in history.
Underlining that Iraq's oil income between 2006 and 2014 alone was only $ 822 billion, he said that the Maliki government had also received more than $250 billion in funds from many countries, namely the U.S., used to pay the salaries and pensions of Iraqi government workers and for reconstruction projects.
Within the scope of corruption investigations carried out by the CoI, Nouri stated that former defense minister Hazm Shalan, former trade minister Abdul-Fatah Sudani and former electricity minister Aiham al-Sammarae were involved in graft during their tenures and charged of corruption.
Along with 53 other officials, a prosecution against the Iraqi Red Crescent authorities was also brought and is still continuing.
Adding that some of the investigations have been concluded, Nouri said "600 officials including ministers, deputy ministers, advisors, general directors have been sued on grounds of corruption. There are even officials who have been sentenced to 130 years in jail."

butterfly Preliminary observations on the results of the Iraqi elections
10-15-2021 Preliminary observations on the results of the Iraqi electionsOn Monday, October 11, the preliminary results of the early Iraqi parliamentary elections were announced. The moment of the announcement witnessed a clear confusion in the performance of the Independent High Electoral Commission, which exacerbated the tension caused by the results themselves!
The preliminary results indicated an unprecedented victory for the Sadrist movement, as it has so far won more than 70 seats, i.e. just over 21% of the seats in the House of Representatives. The State of Law coalition headed by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki won 35 seats that can be increased, an increase of 10 seats than it obtained in 2018, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party obtained 32 seats, a number that it did not reach in any previous elections.
On the other hand, the Al-Fateh coalition and the forces of the national state (which includes the Wisdom Movement led by Ammar al-Hakim and the Victory Alliance led by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi) lost, as the former obtained only 14 seats in these preliminary results, while it had obtained 48 seats in the 2018 elections.
The second coalition gets only 4 seats after they combined more than 62 seats in the 2018 elections (the Victory Alliance at that time won 42 seats, while the Wisdom Movement won 19 seats) and the Islamic Party and the Solution Party (which is affiliated with the Azm Alliance) did not get For any seat in this election.
butterfly These results prompted the losers, accompanied by al-Maliki, to revive the so-called coordinating framework, and they issued a statement declaring their rejection of the election results in full if any fraud, manipulation or mismatch between manual and electronic counting and sorting was proven, and also reviving the “Al-Binaa Alliance” that was formed in 2018 and included the alliances of conquest and the rule of law and others, but this time with the joining of wisdom and victory!
The confusion of the Commission, which is not new in any case, as we have witnessed previous cases of confusion in the course of its work during nearly two years) led to a wave of widespread skepticism about the election results, especially after the Commission announced that more than 12 thousand stations had not been added to the announced results.
It is 8273 stations, with one station from an electoral center that must be manually counted and counted in order to match them with the results of the electronic counting and sorting as decided by the election law, and 3100 other stations whose electronic results did not reach the National Center through the transmission medium or the memory stick (the flash) did not arrive. own before announcing the preliminary results, and this was a major flaw in the work of the Commission!
butterfly First, the commission had to announce that the preliminary results represented 89% of the results only, not to announce these results in the confusing way in which they were announced, and secondly, it had to announce the results of the 8,273 stations within its announcement of the preliminary results, and then randomly select these stations in the presence of Agents of political entities, to have data that can be verified after matching, not to withhold the results of these stations and then announce, later, that the matching has been done and that it was 100%, in the absence of monitoring of this selection process, first, and the matching process second!
It is not possible to measure the power relations between the Saeroon Alliance / the Sadrist Movement, which has won more than 70 seats, and the Al-Fateh coalition, which has won 14 seats so far, based on the number of seats. Rather, the strength of each of them is measured by the parallel weapons they possess.
Moreover, the commission did not refer, either from afar or from close, to what is stipulated in Article 39/c of the Elections Law, which obliges it to conduct a process of interrupting the fingerprints of voters in private and public voting within a period not exceeding 10 days from the date of the general polling, meaning that the deadline will end on 20 of this month!
butterfly Announcing the results of the stations that were matched, and then talking about 3100 other stations whose results were not published, which represents 6% of the number of stations, formed a favorable atmosphere for the increase in the volume of skepticism about the results, especially since some of the changes that took place seemed like attempts to satisfy the losers!
Especially in light of the accumulation and crisis of confidence resulting from the politicization of the work of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Iraq from the moment it was formed in May 2004, when it turned, in the end, into a mere representation of the parties!
We said in an article last Friday that the conflict in Iraq is not a political conflict governed by the election results, but rather a more complex conflict because many political forces have declared armed wings, and therefore it is this weapon that governs the political equation and not the number of seats that this party obtained or that.
Therefore, it is not possible to measure the power relations between the Sairoon Alliance / the Sadrist Movement, which has won more than 70 seats, and the Al-Fateh coalition, which has won 14 seats so far, based on the number of seats. It is Iran, and the nature of the alliances that they can reach with the other blocs and the extent of their solidity.
butterfly Therefore, what is happening now is waiting for the formation of a solid Iranian-backed alliance consisting of the State of Law and Al-Fateh and those with them (the National Contract Alliance, the Alliance of State Forces, and some of the independents who will join them) and the seats of these will be within 60 seats until the moment, and they can be increased with the presence of an atmosphere
A general firmly believes that the preliminary results will necessarily witness “codified” changes, to satisfy the losing militants first, and to reduce the difference between them and the Sairoon Alliance to the lowest possible percentage!
Which will make both parties, obliged, and not given the choice, to form an alliance between them to be the most numerous bloc that nominates the next prime minister, which will ultimately mean that the next prime minister will not come out of the cloak of either of them, but rather will be a compromise candidate accepted by both parties, whether This bloc, the most numerous as required by the constitution, was announced, or not, in a repeat of the 2018 scenario. rawabetcenter.com

Al-Sadr called on al-Maliki and the Dawa Party to expose the plaintiffs and their affiliates whose hands are stained with corruption and blood in Mosul and the provinces.
Sadr said in the text of the lengthy commentary he moved vizier in favor of social communication Iraqi:
We were in _oni ever before the fall of the greatest dictator _ the tyrant destructive hear about ( the Dawa party) a lot of talk nice for their courage and their faith and their love for the homeland and for their sacrifices ,
and we hope to continue this perception We wove it from the mothers of our thoughts and from the words of others from here and there, so that if the fall of the idol becomes near, we find (the Dawa Party) cooperating with (the Great Satan).
butterfly Then the idol fell..and the perceptions began to fade little by little in the hearts of the revolutionaries and patriots.
I do not want to list the facts here.. Perhaps some of them were wrong or exaggerated, or the like.
However, I lived some of it and witnessed some of those facts that we have read and the people have read that they are fading away from the old picture.
Today, all my wishes are to find the orders of those who say that he is the founder of the Dawa Party: (The First Martyr) is implemented in the corridors of the party.. as I find myself a humble heir to this honorable family, and what affects it from that party affects me and it is my duty to advise.
He sanctified his secret revolutionary, national reform, unifying the ranks of Iraq without sectarianism.
So I hope to fix what's in the .,. Dam before it is too late.. What happened in these elections is the best proof of what I say.
So, dear brothers in the Dawa Party, rectify your affairs and gather your affairs, so that you may obtain from God and the people what our martyr and your martyr achieved, by exposing the claimants and those who belong to you and whose hands are stained with corruption and blood in Mosul and other provinces.
butterfly And error is not a defect as long as we are not infallible.. Rather, the mistake is insisting on it and not acknowledging it.. as we are upon it by exposing the secretive and the beneficiaries and punishing the spoilers, this is the upbringing of the Sadr family for us.
I am not here in the position of accusation, but rather in the position of advice: admitting wrongdoing is a virtue.
At the same time, confession is an erasure of sins and a return to the old image that we used to carry around us previously, so be brave in that as you were brave in fighting the destructive and impure apostasy.
May the bonds of affection return between you and the Al-Sadr family first, and with your people, your neighbors, and the entire world.
Yes, I heard today (Al-Maliki)'s statement regarding the current electoral process, and I was surprised by his words, but they are incomplete.. So he has to make up for what was lost and wasted advice from me as a way to God Almighty.
butterfly And what has been lost cannot be compensated for by clinging to power and domination, for it has been tried and has not succeeded, and the tempted is not tempted.
But by reconsidering what happened and working to hold himself and then those who took refuge in him before God and before his community.. and this needs courage and without hesitation before it is too late.
For if he finds himself innocent of what is attributed to him, then publicly revealing his innocence is required.. It resores his beautiful splendor to him and his party and brings him closer to God and his people.
And all of this in order to restore the prestige of Iraq..and preserve the egg of Islam in our beloved Iraq..which has become weary of the actions of those affiliated with Islamic parties, whether true or false. https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=933439
butterfly Chihod: Election fraud occurred internally and externally, which is the most dangerous because of international interventions that changed the results, contrary to what the Iraqi street aspires to.
Friday 15 October 2021 The former deputy in the State of Law coalition, which won the parliamentary elections, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, said that the electoral fraud occurred internally and externally, and it is the most dangerous because of international interventions that changed the results, contrary to what the Iraqi street aspires to.
Chihod said in a press statement today that "the electoral process was marred by a lot of ambiguity and fraud, which occurred in many and scandalous ways, and that the electoral process resulted in three parties, the first winner of membership in the House of Representatives, but he did not win the confidence of the Iraqi people because of fraud.
The second party won the membership of the House of Representatives and also won the confidence of the people because it came with real merit and popular will, and the third party did not win the membership of the House of Representatives, but it was a true representative of the Iraqi people, but it lost because of the victory of the counterfeiters who won it without any real entitlement.
He added, "The counting and sorting procedures are not convincing, and they are tantamount to throwing ashes in the eyes, and that what happened has happened, and that fraud occurred and came in different stages and occurred in two ways, the first within the elections and the second external, because the real fraud occurred perhaps outside Iraq with strong and dangerous international interventions that changed the results...in general. The results will depend in this way, and no other method can be resorted to.” https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=933446

The head of the Negotiations Committee on the largest bloc and the next government of the Sadrist movement, Hassan al-Adhari, on Friday, blew a surprise about the candidates for prime minister.
Al-Adari said in a brief comment on his Facebook account, followed by “Nas” (October 15, 2021), that “the position of prime minister is not restricted to men.”
Al-Adhari added, “Women are half of society.”
Earlier today, the Sadrist movement’s political body denied that a member of the Sadrist bloc’s negotiating team, Nassar al-Rubaie, had made a statement about the nature of the next government and the prime minister, to the official news agency.
The media office of the Political Authority stated in a statement, October 15, 2021, that “what was reported in the media is incorrect regarding the nature of the next government, and we call on the media to adhere to the correct controls in publishing news and to adopt official sources, especially at this sensitive stage.”
The statement added, “Nassar al-Rubaie did not meet with any media outlet, and we will file a lawsuit against false websites that promote false news.”
And the official news agency published, earlier, a statement on the lips of al-Rubaie, which stated
that “the next government will not be consensual and its head will be a Sadrist, and it will bear the responsibility for failures if they occur.”
butterfly Early Friday morning, the Coordination Framework denied declaring a position on the “largest bloc”, after information about reaching a large bloc.
A statement by the “Coordination Framework”, a copy of which was received by “Nass”, (October 15, 2021), “no statement or statement was issued by the coordination framework regarding the largest bloc, although the number of winners from its candidates exceeded 90 winners.”
The statement added, “The framework is still following up with the competent authorities that the confiscation of voters’ votes must be addressed, and it will continue to do so until the mistake is acknowledged, the errors are corrected, and civil peace is not endangered.”
The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, had announced the names of the committee in charge of political negotiations and forging alliances for the post-election period.
Al-Sadr said in a document obtained by “Nass” a copy of it, (October 14, 2021), “We would like to inform all political parties that the negotiating committee that represents us exclusively, and that no one has the right to interfere in its work, whoever they are:
Hassan Al-Adhari as its president, Nassar Al-Rubaie as his first deputy, and Nabil Al-Tarifi as second deputy, Hakim Al-Zamili as his supporter.
He added that “the committee has the power to factor in the issue of parliamentary and political alliances for this stage, provided that they return to us in the tasks of their affairs and avoid alliances with those who have comments on them… and that they work according to precautions and public interests.”
butterfly Riyadh Al-Masoudi, the former representative of the Sadrist movement, explained, on Thursday, the working mechanism of the negotiating committee formed by Al-Sadr.
Al-Masoudi said in a press statement that “the committee’s goal is constructive dialogue and true partnership, and these are the foundations that should be adopted in our future dialogues with the rest of the political parties.”
He added, “The dialogues will start from real national principles, to reach real participation in the government instead of partnership.”
He continued, “The political understandings that the committee will make will be without conditions, and we will not impose conditions on anyone, and we will not accept conditions from anyone,” noting that “we accept real constructive dialogues capable of reaching a correct reading of the political, service and economic scene.”
And about the parties that “have comments” that Al-Sadr referred to in the statement of the formation of the committee, between Al-Masoudi, that “the blocs and the parties that have comments that Al-Sadr referred to, are those that wish to obtain the spoils of power and do not seek to build the state.”
He pointed out, “We in the Sadrist bloc have a real and clear vision for the upcoming political scene without marginalizing any political party.” nasnews.com
butterfly A political bloc demands that the passports of UNHCR staff be withdrawn and prevent them from traveling
10-15-2021 02:48 PM A political bloc demands that the passports of UNHCR staff be withdrawn and prevent them from travelingToday, Friday, the National Nahj bloc demanded that the passports of cadres of the Electoral Commission be withdrawn and prevented from traveling.
The bloc said in a press conference, “We demand that the passports of the Electoral Commission cadres be withdrawn and they are prevented from traveling until the counting and manual counting of all governorates are completed,” noting that ” after the major flaw in the management of the electoral process for the year 2021 became clear and the apparent contradiction in the electoral commission’s announcements of the results, we renew our demand for recounting.”
And counting all polling stations in Iraq manually for the purpose of verifying the validity of the election results, and for the Commission to bear its legal and moral responsibility.
She added, “We recall the most important observations that we made during the electoral process, as the tapes that were handed over to the observers did not match the announcement of the commission, and in hundreds of stations, the percentage of invalid papers was 20%, and this is an unprecedented number in the past electoral stages, and many of the accelerator devices were idle and the process of removing them was not completed.” The results (without a tape) and therefore were not sorted manually and were transmitted under mysterious circumstances, and some stations were more than three hours late from opening.
butterfly The bloc added, ” During the voting process, fingerprints did not appear, which led to the deprivation of many voters from voting, and the process of transferring the boxes of these stations from the centers to warehouses to the airport was not accompanied by any agent of a political entity. The polls closed after six o’clock and some of them remained open. Until 10/13/2021, and many stations were late in sending their results, the results of our network of observers were more accurate than the Commission’s announcement of its results.
She pointed out that “the number of voters in each station is more than 450, and the commission claimed that the participation rate was more than 40%. There are 180 voters x 518 stations = 93,240 missing votes in the announcements of the results of the first and second commission, and the ballot papers were not distributed according to the regulations.”
And the decision of the Board of Commissioners, and the results tapes were distributed only, and the manual counting and sorting stations were not selected by lottery,” explaining that “ accordingly, we demand that the passports of the electoral commission’s cadres be withdrawn and prevent them from traveling until the counting and manual counting of all governorates is completed.” dijlah.tv

butterfly 2021-10-15 03:34 Shafaq News / The dollar headed for its first weekly decline versus major peers since the start of last month on Friday as global risk appetite rebounded, while the Japanese yen headed for a three-year low and the price of bitcoin hit nearly $60,000.
The dollar index slipped 0.1% to 93.9 and was down 0.2% for the week in what would be its first weekly loss in six weeks. The greenback tends to rise when investors seek safety.
Global stock markets have rallied this week as fears about a stagflationary economy have been eased by forecast-beating corporate earnings in the United States.
Analysts said investors long dollars had been squeezed out of their positions in the past few days, and inflation data did not support a further rise in the currency.
The greenback had rallied since early September on expectations the U.S. central bank would tighten monetary policy more quickly than previously expected amid an improving economy and surging energy prices.
Minutes of the Fed's September meeting confirmed this week that a tapering of stimulus is all but certain to start this year, although policymakers are sharply divided over inflation and what they should do about it.
Money markets are currently pricing in about 50/50 odds of a 25 basis point rate hike by July.
The next major glimpse of the U.S. economy's health comes later on Friday with the release of retail sales figures.
The euro edged up 0.1% to $1.1611 after touching $1.1624 on Thursday for the first time since Sept. 4.
In cryptocurrencies, bitcoin rallied as high as $60,000, an almost six-month peak, as traders became increasingly confident that U.S. regulators would approve the launch of an exchange-traded fund based on its futures contracts. Source: Reuters
butterfly 2021-10-15 04:22 Shafaq News / Bitcoin hit $60,000 for the first time in six months on Friday, nearing its record high, as traders grew confident that U.S. regulators would approve the launch of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) based on its futures contracts.
Cryptocurrency investors have been waiting for approval of the first U.S. ETF for bitcoin, whose recent rally has been fuelled in part by anticipation of such a move, which is seen as speeding up the mainstream adoption of digital assets.
Bitcoin , the world's biggest cryptocurrency, rose 4.5% to its highest level since Apr. 17 and was last at $59,030. It has risen by more than half in value since Sept. 20 and is now close to its all-time high of $64,895.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to allow the first U.S. bitcoin futures ETF to begin trading next week, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.
Several fund managers, including the VanEck Bitcoin Trust, ProShares, Invesco, Valkyrie and Galaxy Digital Funds have applied to launch bitcoin ETFs in the United States. Crypto ETFs have been launched this year in Canada and Europe.
SEC Chair Gary Gensler has previously said the crypto market involves many tokens which may be unregistered securities and leaves prices open to manipulation and millions of investors vulnerable to risks.
The Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter, said that proposals by ProShares and Invesco are based on futures contracts and were filed under mutual fund rules that Gensler has said provide "significant investor protections".
The SEC did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the Bloomberg report. Source: Reuters\

butterfly 2021-10-15 02:59 Shafaq News/ The independent candidate Basem Khashan said that the winning lists emanating from the Tishreen protests have two options, either to proceed with forming the new federal government, or to form a "strong and influential" opposition bloc.
Khashan said in a statement today, "We, the independent representatives and winners in the lists of the parties emanating from October, obtained a large percentage of the people's votes, and we seek to take over the formation of a national government according to rules that satisfy the people and protect their rights," considering this an "entitlement imposed by the election results on everybody".
"We can move Iraq to the land of security, development, stability, construction, and equality," he said.
Khashan added, "We want to build Iraq, and we have only two options: to form a government accepted by the people who elected us, or to be a strong and influential opposition bloc based on massive popular support." https://www.shafaq.com/en/Iraq-News/Independent-candidates-either-we-form-the-new-government-or-an-opposition-bloc
