The source told Al Furat News Agency that "the reason behind this halt is the lack of financial liquidity and the required allocations."

Clare:  Iraq's revenues exceed 135 trillion dinars in 11 months

The Ministry of Finance revealed, on Monday, that the volume of revenues in the federal budget during 11 months exceeded 135 trillion dinars.

Al-Eqtisad News followed the data and tables issued by the Ministry of Finance in February 2025 for the accounts from January to November 2024 for the past fiscal year, which showed that revenues from oil stabilized at about 88%, but it still constitutes the main resource for the general budget, indicating that the rentier economy is the basis of the country's general budget.

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has approved a new date for the Iraq Investment Forum, scheduled to take place from April 12-13, 2025.
 
According to a letter from the Prime Minister's office, received by The Iraq News Agency-INA , "The Prime Minister's approval has been granted to hold the Iraq Investment Forum on April 12-13, 2025, for the necessary arrangements in light of the Prime Minister's approval."

 Shafaq News Agency publishes the text of the first amendment to the Iraqi state general budget law for the years 2023-2025, which was voted on by the Council of Representatives in today's session, Sunday.

The Iraqi Council of Representatives held its fourth session of the first legislative term of the fourth legislative year this evening, Sunday, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Council, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, with the attendance of 176 representatives, and the boycott of about 50 representatives.
