The Iraqi government announced the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which extends from the ninth of next April until the 13th.
The media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister said in a statement, received by Shafaq News Agency, that the Council approved considering the Eid al-Fitr holiday, starting from Tuesday, April 9, 2024, until Saturday, April 13, 2024, provided that official working hours will resume in all government institutions, On Sunday, April 14, 2024. Clare: Natural resources in Iraq...a huge treasure neglected by an “official decision”!

Economic researcher, Ziyad Al-Hashimi, confirmed that (mismanagement of natural resources) is one of the major problems that the Iraqi economy suffers from, as unfair government decisions deprived Iraq of huge billion-dollar revenues and global market shares.
Al-Hashemi said in a blog post on the “X” platform, followed by “ Jarida ”, that “(mismanagement of Iraq’s natural resources) and unfair government decisions have deprived Iraq of huge billion-dollar revenues and global market shares, as Iraq is ranked ninth in the world in terms of size.” It has natural resources within its territory, such as oil, natural gas, phosphate, sulfur, and other minerals.

The economic expert, Bassem Jamil Antoine, identified today, Thursday, the “ideal solution” to reduce the dollar difference between the official and parallel ones.
Antoine told {Al-Furat News} that: “There is clear stability in the dollar exchange rates, and the difference between the parallel and official rates does not decrease easily.”

Coordination Framework seeks early election to curb al-Sudani's growing popularity: analysis

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani is strikingly popular among the Iraqi people, but the parties who once supported him are organizing to take him down, a report by Medialine suggested.
"Iraq's ruling coalition plans to call for early elections in an attempt to overthrow Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani," it said.
Al-Sudani belongs to the Coordination Framework, an alliance of Shiite parties loyal to Iran. But after assuming the premiership, "al-Sudani changed his approach toward the parties and came to disagree with many of their political positions."
