Samson: Russia Reveals A Jump In Its Trade With India

The volume of trade exchange between Moscow and India increased in 2021 by 62.7 percent compared to 2020, and amounted to nearly $4.5 billion, according to the website of the mayor of the Russian capital.

Russia is one of India's main partners, and priority is given to expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation with it, Vladimir Yefimov, Moscow's deputy mayor for economic policy, real estate relations and land, said in a statement today.

The Russian official added that the Russian capital's trade volume with India rose last year by 62.7 percent and amounted to about $4.5 billion.

Independent MP Hadi Al-Salami revealed the reasons for the demands to withdraw the hand of the director of the General Customs Authority, while noting that the Border Ports Authority took a positive step to reduce the rampant corruption in the joints of institutions linked with it.

Al-Salami said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "the border crossings have taken a positive step in establishing an electronic platform for their work, in cooperation with the Industrial Development Directorate of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, the Ministry of Trade and the security and intelligence agencies to monitor work through the electronic platform."

He added that the Customs Authority refused to enter the platform due to corruption and the spread of bribery and graft, so that it refused electronic automation and violated the decision of the Council of Ministers obligating to adopt the electronic platform and did not apply the laws.

Saleh said, in a statement to the official agency and reviewed by "Mawazine News", that "Iraq is living today in its best financial conditions with its modern history in terms of cash flows."

He called for "the necessity of employing these cash flows in productive investments for the resource of the national economy, as well as the operation of national human resources in activities that should be income-generating and wealth-promoting at the same time."

Samson: Al-Zamili: We will ask the government to send the 2022 budget

Today, Tuesday, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, announced a request to the government to send the 2022 budget.

Al-Zamili said in a statement to the official channel, which was reviewed by Mawazine News, that "the House of Representatives will ask the current government to prepare and send the 2022 budget."

Samson: Al-Kazemi’s advisor decides the fate of “Iraqi politicians’ money” deposited in Lebanese banks

Mazhar Muhammad Salih, the financial advisor to the Prime Minister, said that politicians who have deposits in Lebanese banks should "wipe their hands against the wall," as he put it.

In response to "the fate of the Iraqi politicians' money deposited in Lebanese banks after the latter declared the state's bankruptcy," Saleh said: "The money deposited by some politicians in Lebanese banks will not return to their depositors (let them wipe their hands against the wall)," adding that "the money is in Lebanese banks." She is gone and there is no hope of her coming back."
