DELTA: Today, Wednesday, the governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved Iraq's request to become a shareholder in the bank.
The request was approved during the bank's annual meeting held in a virtual session due to the outbreak Corona Virus.
And the European Bank Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is a multilateral development bank that uses investment as a tool to help build market economies and was founded in 1991

MilitiaMan: The article below suggests that they began distribution of the salaries for the month. The White Papers would allow for that. The only thing that may need to be questioned is they are to pay tomorrow on a holiday.
Electronic systems tend to be instantaneously done. Therefore, them staggering payments like they have in the past seems odd.
A level playing field in international markets are meant to be fair and in real time. No privilege's between sectors.
That said, opening the banks on a holiday to pay salaries, suggests that paying staggered payments may be smoke.. We shall see.
But, a side from that, they do say they are going to raise the salaries. Hence, the value of the currency is to reflected in the salaries pricing. Any way if they are going out to Sunday? Well, not to far off is it. lol. imo ~ MM

The Parliamentary Finance Committee accused, Tuesday, the government and the Ministry of Finance of transferring the country's financial policy to a banking booth and not submitting any economic reform paper.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Abd al-Hadi Saadawi, said to / the information / that "the Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister so far have not spoken explicitly about the cause of the financial crisis, despite the delay of employees' salaries for more than 20 days from the specified date."

The Ministry of Finance announced that the salaries of employees will be paid, starting tomorrow, Wednesday.
"According to the directives of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the Ministry of Finance confirms that late payments of public sector salaries for the month of September will begin to be paid in full, starting tomorrow, Wednesday (10/7/2020) and the following days," the ministry said in a statement received by Al Furat News.
The ministry indicated that it is "obligated to fulfill its legal obligations despite the acute shortage of revenues facing the country, and looks forward to cooperating with the House of Representatives and the relevant authorities in order to develop quick solutions to address the current economic and financial crisis."

The world has made great strides in this important trend, with the disappearance of the use of paper currency, which has become a burden on economies, due to the many faults, difficulties and challenges of their dealings.
We find that Iraq is still indifferent to this project despite its methods largely through the initiatives of the Central Bank of Iraq and the private banking sector, which literally applied the decisions, legislation and instructions of the Central Bank in this regard.
And now the private banks have the full requirements for operating the electronic payment project, but ?!

Samson: Barzani announces agreement on joint management of the border crossings in Kurdistan

The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, announced, on Monday, the agreement with the federal government to jointly manage the border crossings in the region, while affirming his government's commitment to handing over the region's oil revenues to the federal government.
Barzani said, while attending the Kurdistan Parliament session, that "the regional government is committed to handing over the region's exported oil imports to the federal government," indicating that "the region will commit to reducing oil production."

Samson: Member of Parliament: The political system will collapse due to the economic situation

A member of the Finance Committee, Muhammad Sahib Al-Darraji, said on Tuesday that the political system will collapse due to the current economic situation of the country.
Al-Darraji said in a tweet via Twitter, that "those in control of the situation in Iraq are preoccupied with the relationship with America and detailing the election law according to their size."
He added, "Listen to my voice: The collapse of the political system and what remains of the state will be due to the collapse of the economic and financial situation, with this current economic performance," adding that "the country is going to chaos."
