Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, discussed, on Thursday, with a Kurdish official the problems of Baghdad, Erbil and the upcoming elections.

A statement by Al-Halbousi's office, of which Mawazine News received a copy, stated that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi received today the co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahore Sheikh Genki."

The statement added, "The meeting discussed developments in the country, stressing the importance of continuing dialogue, and resolving the outstanding problems between the federal government and the regional government, according to the constitution."

A document issued by the office of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, indicated the measures taken by the latter to transfer and name a number of personalities in economic positions in the state.

According to the document, the Prime Minister decided to transfer the services of Khaled Salah al-Din Murad, Director General of the Iraqi Fund for External Development to the position of Director General of the Public Debt Department in the Ministry, and decided to assign Mrs. Brian Abdul Salam Qasim al-Khafaf the duties of the Director General of the Iraqi Fund for External Development.

In addition to the transfer of the senior director from the economic department in the ministry, Rashad Khudair Waheed, to the Agricultural Cooperative Bank and assigning him the duties of the bank’s general manager, and Mrs. Najah Abbas Ali, Director General of the Insurance Bureau, was transferred to the Economic Department and assigned the duties of the Director General of the department.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, Thursday, that the draft federal budget law for 2021 will arrive in Parliament soon.

A member of the committee, Abdul Hadi Al-Saeedi, said to / the information /, that "the cabinet is now in the process of completing the provisions of the draft federal budget law for the year 2021," noting that "the budget will be different from previous years."

He added that "about 230 degrees and functional will be within the draft budget," indicating that "the Council of Ministers will send the project to the House of Representatives soon."

The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed, earlier, that there are more than 240,000 job degrees within the draft federal budget law for 2021.

Sheila    It would seem at one Mr. Kaperoni was quite the Iraqi Dinar guru.

A young couple moved into a new neighborhood.

The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbor hanging the washing outside.

"That laundry is not very clean; she doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."

Her husband looked on, remaining silent.

Every time her neighbor hung her washing out to dry, the young woman made the same comments.

A month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband, "Look, she’s finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?"

The husband replied, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."

And so it is with life… What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look.

So don’t be too quick to judge others, especially if your perspective of life is clouded by anger, jealousy, negativity or unfulfilled desires.

Sandyf   Been a lot of focus on SWIFT, but then the US doesn't know much different. Europe moved off SWIFT and on to IBAN decades ago and the middle east have been following suit. Iraq adopted IBAN a few years back, an an event that was supposed to trigger the mythical RV. I have been moving money from UK(IBAN) to Thailand(SWIFT) in a matter of hours for 20 years, maybe it is time it was speeded up but not going to be a world changing event.
