Member: Live from Puerto Rico it's time for the master of the nothing burgers and the holder of the golden egg shirt it's time for the Z man Mark Z and his golden egg bunch
'Member: I m really hoping that Mark's military contacts are correct about this "whole" thing being over by the 4th!! It would make sense to celebrate our new country on that day
Member: Indepedance Day would be good for rv
Member: Still hoping for sooner than that.
Member: What is the significance of June 23rd?
MZ: Good Question. Why do I have so many bankers from different banks across the US expecting something major to do with the US dollar to happen on the 23rd? I don’t know. But even people in Iraq are looking at specifically around that time period as well.
Member: Bo Polny thinks the Banks will be going down Thursday
MZ: What is the Fed doing on the 24th of this month? They have an open meeting on foreign exchange rate at 4:15 PM . They will be discussing foreign exchange rates.
Member: And the Federal Reserve Board announces the results from its annual bank stress tests on Wed. June 26th at 4:30 edt.
MZ: This is all interesting timing as we hear about changes happening on the 23rd.
Member: do you think Iraq will put the dinar on forex with only a NEER (Nominal Effective Exchange Rate) and then float? Or Immediately apply the REER (Real Effective Exchange rate) as well?
MZ: No, I do not think we will see the Iraqi dinar float. I believe they have been clear they want to retain value and peg it to assets. But, I could be wrong.
Member: Frank who says it will float but that's because he thinks Iraq is the only country who is RVing
MZ: I did hear more from Iraq sources today confirming about the ATM installations and training.
Member: so mark with Iraq putting ATM out frank said 10000 an troops guarding them wouldn't think we days ….not weeks or months away.
MZ: I do know of a few bond contacts who were again updating final contracts. I hope we hear more news on that soon. This hurry up and wait is frustrating.
MZ: I have multiple sources who have US Treasury based sources .who are purposely sowing different information to different people like groups ect…..the logical conclusion is they are trying to cloud the timing. They have ramoed rumors up the last few days.
Member: I wish everyone would stop asking when, when. No one is going to know ahead of time. Everyone will know together at the same time. I feel every time someone gives a date it delays the rv.
MZ: I do have a fun bank story. “A person went into the bank to ask questions. The banker said they were aware of the coming change with foreign currencies …but we are not exchanging at this location. He said We are doing it at a location in this region , but I am not allowed to tell you which location yet.
MZ: I thought this was great….coming from one of the top banks.
Member: Went Canada trust bank . They exchange Kuwaiti dinar but not Iraq dinar. However they are installing new bank machine.
Member: Mark…After the RV. ! How many days do you think we will have to exchange currencies? 30- 60- 90 days?
Member: He used to say at least 30 days….guess we wait and see.
Member” Happy Juneteenth tomorrow folks.
Member: Banks and mail should be closed tomorrow.
Member: On Mon Sudani (allegedly) announced on TV that before the end of the holiday June 19 Iraq will have a new rate.
Member: Lord, we are weary, BUT we are ready !! Strengthen our resolve to help make this the world you wanted for us! Lift us up & bless your faithful to go out & be beautiful examples of unconditional LOVE!
