Tishwash: Kuwait presents a three-level proposal to address the financial crisis in Iraq

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Ahmed Nasser Al-Muhammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah announced on Sunday a proposal consisting of three levels, which would enable Iraq to overcome the financial crisis that it is seeking due to the spread of the Corona virus and the drop in oil prices in global markets.

A statement issued by the office of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, said today that the latter received Al-Sabah, bringing with him a written message from the Emir of the State of Kuwait.

Al-Sabah mentioned that the relationship between Iraq and Kuwait is rooted in history, and that the Emir of the State of Kuwait is interested in developing bilateral relations between the two countries, in the past and present, and the need to spare future generations the problems of the past and the present.

The statement added that during the meeting, water security challenges and the terrorism file were discussed as a common challenge among the countries of the region, as well as a discussion of the economic crisis and the decline in global oil prices.

The Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs indicated that tackling the economic crisis takes place through three levels, which are the movement at the international level and with international institutions and allies involved in the field of development and investment cooperation, as well as the movement at the regional level through cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council, where it can be invested through electrical connectivity and others Of the domains.

For his part, Al-Kazemi stressed the importance of strengthening security and economic cooperation between the two countries in a way that serves the stability and prosperity of the region, and the revitalization of trade cooperation and works to overcome the economic effects of the Corona pandemic.

Al-Kazemi pointed out that the two countries have a historic opportunity to develop bilateral relations between them, and address the border file in the way in which liberation from the fears of the past is carried out, and according to the principle of goodwill, explaining that the relations between Iraq and Kuwait have historical roots that are based on family, tribal and social ties.

Al-Kazemi indicated the importance of activating the joint committee between the two countries, overcoming bureaucratic obstacles facing them, and activating the decisions of the Kuwait Conference and its follow-up committees.

The Prime Minister confirmed that his government will continue to cooperate on the issue of Kuwaiti prisoners in the Gulf War in 1991, and to return the remainder of the Emiri Archive in Iraq. link

It was an opt-ed in which he thought it was important that the Iraqi people should probably change the rate to help their economy. Gee do you think Paul Ryan has Iraqi dinar?

I agree with Lisa. It's the most encouraging news that Q could share with Light Warriors: 'The 'when' is now.' The 'how' is out of our hands - that's the task of the Alliance. And we Light Warriors are doing a fine job of uncovering the 'why'.
