The Early UB2B was entitled Alaq Talks 4x - I'm guessing on TV letting the Citizens know the MR is coming. Parliament will be dissolved with the UN oversight. The Festival of Lights has been happening so let's put some ice cream between the Cookies and Celebrate!!!

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi reviewed the urgent decisions and reform steps taken by the government in response to the demands of peaceful demonstrators and the strict instructions issued by the security forces to protect the right to peaceful demonstration, while the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), Jenin Hennes Blachart, everyone to stand up against the militants who sneak among peaceful demonstrators.

A statement by the Prime Minister's Information Office, received by Al-Sabah, said that during his meeting with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), Jenin Hennes Plaschart, .

The statement added that "Abdul-Mahdi reviewed the decisions and urgent steps taken in this regard and the strict instructions issued to the security forces to protect the right to peaceful demonstration, and the accompanying acts of unfortunate destruction of public and private property." 

For her part, the head of the UN mission expressed regret, condemnation and condemnation for the accompanying demonstrations of the destruction of public and private property, pointing out that "the protection of lives is a priority, along with the right to express legitimate opinion and demands through peaceful demonstrations and to avoid the country from falling into dangers." 

She praised "the actions of the security forces and enable medical teams to treat the wounded," calling "everyone to stand against the militants who infiltrate between peaceful demonstrators to carry out sabotage and aggression." 

She stressed "the importance of imposing security and stability and preventing sabotage and armed manifestations that destabilize the unity and stability of Iraq," expressing the readiness of the United Nations to "provide support to the Iraqi government in its efforts to meet legitimate demands and fight corruption, improve services and provide jobs, and other measures taken by the government, which requires time It is enough to implement them in the interests of the Iraqi people. Thousands of Iraqis took to the streets tonight in different parts of Baghdad, breaking a night-time curfew imposed by the government, witnesses said.

The commander of Baghdad operations said on Monday that the authorities announced a curfew in the capital from midnight to 6 am local time, until further notice.  LINK

Crowds of protesters defied the Baghdad Operations Command's decision to impose a curfew, which came into effect at 12 pm from today until 6 am.

The civil activist, Muhannad al-Saidi, continued the demonstrations until the demands are met. "Security forces behind the Republican Bridge are firing teargas canisters at the toxic protesters in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad. They only carry water bottles," Saidi said.

"The students are an essential element in the demonstrations in all countries of the world, and accusing them of not being drawn into these demonstrations is unacceptable because they are the leaders of the future," he said. "We are trying to correct, as much as possible, the existing judiciary, political system, corruption and others," Saidi said.

"Parliament is bold in exporting information; but we need reality," he said, adding that "we will renew our demonstrations every month until the demands are met and the tragic reality is corrected." LINK

 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The US military has disposed of the remains of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi by burying them at sea, a Pentagon official said on Wednesday.

The official, who declined to be named, according to Sky News, said that Baghdadi's burial at sea came "according to Islamic religious rituals" in an unnamed place.

Earlier on Monday, the US military's chief of staff, Mark Millie, announced that the Pentagon would not release video footage and photos of Baghdadi's liquidation until it was declassified.

No details were given as to how and when the body was disposed of, but the chief of staff said that "the disposal of his remains has been completed and has been handled properly."

It is noteworthy that the remains of the body of al-Baghdadi were transferred to the base of the US air base in Iraq after he was killed in a special security operation in the Syrian countryside of Idlib.  LINK
