Shafaq News / The director of health of Erbil governorate, the capital of Kurdistan Region, Delovan Muhammad announced on Saturday that a patient with cancer has recovered from the emerging corona virus.
Mohamed said in a press statement today that one of those infected with the virus has recovered completely and left the hospital, adding that the recovered also has cancer.
He explained that the patient is 49 years old and he recovered from the virus after 20 days in hospital .

Baghdad- Mawazine News As the emerging coronavirus circulates around the world, scientists are racing to find a vaccine that will defeat the epidemic and restore life to normal.
In this regard, a scientist at the University of Oxford said that the vaccine may be ready by next September.
Vaccination professor Sarah Gilbert said she was "80 percent confident" that the vaccine she is developing with her team will be successful and defeat the Coronavirus.
She explained that the test for the new vaccine in humans will start after about two weeks, pointing out that they worked throughout the past period for 7 days a week to develop the vaccine quickly.
"I think there is a great chance for the vaccine to succeed," she added, noting that she based this conclusion on "other things her team did with this type of vaccine."
"It's not just an intuition," she said. "With each passing week we have more data to examine. I think 80 percent think the vaccine will work. This is my personal view."
"Vaccine development by the fall is possible if things go well," she added, but she warned that "no one can promise that things will go this way," according to the British newspaper "Times".
It is reported that closure orders in the UK make it more difficult to test the vaccine, since human contact is low, so researchers will have to conduct experiments elsewhere where the rate of human contact is greater, to get a faster result.
Despite Gilbert's optimistic statements, other medical experts say it may take up to a year, before a vaccine is ready for use.
As of Saturday morning, 1 million 710 thousand and 135 people have been infected with the "Covid 19" epidemic around the world, 382,41 people have recovered from it, while 103,506 people have lost their lives because of it.
