MZ: It’s a slow news day today….but that leaves us time to answer some questions.

MZ: We are seeing some craziness on aggregating professional sites with fluctuating rates and pairings. It’s the pairings and pairing rates that are really unique. It they are accurate we may be looking at a rate of $5 or so……IF they are accurate.

Member: What is a pairing rate?

MZ: Pairing rates are where they are paired with another currency or stablecoin. In that pairing they show a rate which is different right not than on official sites……We were seeing rates from $1.70 something to $5.60 something.

Member: On the tarmac Trump said “Aug 1st- you’re going to get a lot of payments…You’re going to be very happy….if you are a citizen of this country you will get a lot of money? What does he mean????

MZ: I hope he means a reset. I have a couple of DC beltway folks that watch this podcast regularly. And they told me give Trump a few weeks and things will be clear and we will be excited how it comes out. I hope that is accurate.

Member: so quiet on the bond side again?

Mod:  IT WAS A SLOW NEWS DAY. NO NEW BOND UPDATES

MZ: My contacts in Iraq believe they will have an agreement next Tuesday or Wednesday on the cost of producing of about $16 and they think we will get a new rate for the budget tables…..that is hopeful. We will see….they have had these expectations before…..but those expectations are high again.

Member: Iraq is definitely  the “Boy who cried wolf” .

Member:  Militia Man had great news last night! He thinks we are very close

Member: Time for Sudani to get off his hiney and publish the exchange rate for his own people first of all.. and of course we are blessed by it too. Come on Sudani...

MZ: “Cabinet holds extraordinary session “ there was a terrorist style attack on an oilfield. There was a extraordinary session chaired by Sudani . Unknown the decisions that were made in this session. I do not have the details.

Member: MarkZ: “Kurdistan’s oil sector under attack:In 35 hours, 5 oil fields—including Tawke, Pishkhabur & Khurmala—were hit by drones. KRG says infrastructure suffered “heavy damage”

Member: the Central Bank of Iraq revealed that only 11 of the 24 private commercial banks licensed to operate have not faced any punitive measures...13 banks subject to sanctions.

Member: did we go over that The Iraqi government has approved the Baghdad-Erbil agreement and decided to release funds to pay the salaries of Kurdistan Region civil servants

MZ: I like this one: “Al-Fartousi: Port Revenues amounted to more than (630) billion dinars during the first half of this year”  the development road project is just now launching. It is not yet complete but experts say it may surpass the income from the oil industry when its finished. This is huge

Member: We know their goal is to revalue and increase the purchasing power of the dinar. They have a checklist and they are checking things off as we watch,

Member: My bank says they are closing for a couple days at the end of July.

MZ: I wonder why? They already did all their software updates last weekend. ?

Member: My bank will have electronic shut down the 25 thru the 28

Member: I got an email from my bank saying they have a new system

Member: I think -when this finally happens, we will all be in shock to be honest. …we've waited so long. lol 

Member: I tell my kids and friends that they don’t have to believe me but when it happens, remember who told them it would happen and tell me I was right and not crazy!!

As of Thursday, July 17, 2025 – Reports circulating from sources aligned with the “Restored Republic via a GCR” movement indicate that the world is on the cusp of a monumental transformation, with a Global Currency Reset (GCR) and the reestablishment of a restored republic allegedly in its final, active stages.

 The public is urged to “Be Prepared” for what is described as an imminent rollout of the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS), a 72-hour blackout, and a Ten-Day Global Shutdown.

Possible Timing:

On Sun. 6 July 2025 The Quantum Financial System (QFS) was now (allegedly) online, signaling the dawn of a sovereign, debt-free world.

On Monday, July 7, the U.S. Treasury and Department of Defense (allegedly) green lit final payouts under the Global Currency Reset.

On Friday, July 11 at 7:00 PM ET — the old Fedwire® FAIM wire format for bank money transfers ended permanently.

Frank26  If the salaries and the HCL is all tied to the oil and it's all found where?  In the budget.  The glue is a new exchange rate.

Militia Man Iraq has about $100 billion in reserves or more and they've got about 146 tons of gold and instead of being just oil they've got non-oil resources.  All of that supports Iraq's real effective exchange rate into the future...

Walkingstick  The HCL belongs to the Iraqi citizens.  They get what's called a stipend, you get a little piece of it.  But that little piece, along with the purchasing power...will make these Iraqi citizens very happy because the oil belongs to the Iraqi citizens...Iraqi citizens all have their own accounts so this stipend of the oil will be given to them.  If they didn't have those bank accounts, they wouldn't be getting this oil...It is now digital.

Clare:  IMF Explains Iraq's Exchange Rate Arrangement

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has issued a brief explainer on Iraq's exchange rate arrangement.

As part of a follow-up to last week's report on the state of the Iraqi economy, the IMF clarified as follows:

"Exchange Rate Arrangement

"Iraq's de jure and de facto exchange rate arrangements are classified as a conventional peg arrangement. The Central Bank Law gives the Board of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) the authority to formulate exchange rate policy.

"Effective February 8, 2023, the official exchange rate was set at ID 1,320 according to the closing prices of the daily bulletin of gold & main currencies published on the CBI website (www.cbi.iq).

"There has been a change to Iraq's exchange system since the last Article IV Consultation. Iraq continues to avail itself of the transitional arrangements under Article XIV, Section 2 but no longer maintains any restrictions under this provision.

Iraq does not maintain any current account exchange restrictions or MCPs [Managed Currency Pegs].

Starting January 2025, all international transactions have been routed through commercial banks via their correspondent banking relationships (CBRs).

"The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) replenishes these balances weekly based on foreign exchange demand and conducts audits to ensure that the allocated funds are used in compliance with AML/CFT regulations. Private banks are also encouraged to broaden their CBR networks, particularly with non-U.S. financial institutions."   LINK

Clare:  Kurdish leader: Federal Council of Ministers to hold emergency meeting tomorrow... reason to be revealed

Mahmoud Khoshnaw, a leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), revealed that an emergency meeting of the federal cabinet will be held tomorrow to discuss the outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil, most notably the salaries of Kurdistan Region employees and oil exports.

 Khoshnaw told Al Furat News: "A meeting was held recently in the region to discuss the salaries issue, and resulted in the approval of a draft memorandum of understanding between the two sides regarding the resumption of oil exports through SOMO, in addition to regulating non-oil revenues."

He added, "Both sides are counting on the Federal Council of Ministers meeting tomorrow, Thursday, to reach a legal and constitutional solution that will end the crisis and put an end to the escalating tension between the central government and the region, particularly regarding financial rights."

We're screwed.  They're never going to raise the value."  Did you also see where the IMF posted Iraq is going through a revaluation of their currency right now?  Which one are you going to accept.

Militia Man  Everybody's ready to do business in Iraq.  Now we're waiting to see if we can get this over the edge at any time now.  We're hoping the resolution comes out of the oil deal with the Kurds and Baghdad.  It's all budget related.  That court case they postponed is effectively budget related because article 12-2C is an amendment for the '23/'24  budget... Before the parliament gets those 2025 budget schedules that's what I'm looking for.

I have been waiting for the RV/Reset for almost 20 years. During that time Thousands of rumors have come and gone…..along with hundreds of Intel Providers.

I went from stages of huge excitement, to depression, to despair, to excitement again….to loss of faith and hope …to excited ……over and over again.

I am sure Many others feel the same. Ready to slap the “boy who cried wolf” .

Yes, I still believe that Iraq will revalue their currency. Yes, It is logical that other countries will also revalue and balance trade eventually…..

Through it all …all the ups and downs and endless waiting…. I want to express my gratitude and give my thanks to all the Intel Providers and Currency sites that have kept us all “hanging in there”  Just in case our remaining time together is really short.

They have all given their time and considerable effort to try to find all the pieces and solve this huge RV puzzle . Yes many have come and gone…….but, many have also stayed in spite of trolls, negativity, personal attacks, and a big loss of their valuable time.

Thanks to all of you for your help, your research and your optimism.

MZ: On the bond side – I still do not have permission to share what I know. But I think things will be clear in the next day or so if they have gone or not. I will share when I can.

Member: Interested what your Iraq contacts are saying about Sudanis meeting with Kurds last night

MZ: “ Kurdistan Region agrees to a new understanding with Baghdad on salries and financial entitlements”  things are not yet complete but they have made massive steps in the right direction. Long term plans have been agreed on and oil is about to flow.

MZ: with 120 Billion dinars worth per month of local revenues would completely erase the deficit that Baghdad is facing.  It would balance the budget immediately…IMO it would allow quicker movement on the revaluation front.

Member: If they would ever release the budget

MZ: “Congress votes on amendment banning funding for Iranian organizations in Iraq”  So Iranian organizations had been funded in the past.  So they want to stop funding to Iraq that is currently going to Iranian factions.

Member:  Good News-Sudani went to Mosul to inaugurate the new Airport project. IMO- He wouldn't do that if the rate was 1310,looking great team.

MZ: “Minister of finance reveals the reason for the delay of approving the financial budget in Iraq”   They say a lot of things are changing financially……some kind of big changes coming to Iraq soon….they are hinting at it….changing the value of the dinar would be a big change. .

Member: Still no rats arrested and still no HCL. This month isn’t looking good IMO.

MZ: I have to disagree….I think this month is looking great.

MZ: I have a theory …..and I don’t want anyone to panic. But for this theory to be valid it would mean a value change very soon.

MZ: I got a call from a buddy in North Carolina who had just got 2 separate notices from 2 separate things…... for charge off from loans and credit cards. The loan is not associated with the credit card.

MZ: My theory is they are working on Nesara/Gesara. He had a $170,000.00 loan charged off as of September 25th. Sept 25th that loan will be gone. Also he got a notice from a personal credit card with a large balance…..it was also charged off…will be gone on September 25th.

MZ: Guess what is Sept 22-24? Rosh Hashana 2025. This is the Israeli New year where they dissolve debts. This is a Jubilee style event. Makes me think of Nesara/Gesara.

MZ: But for them to do this- we have to reset first. We were always told wiping debt would take a little time to complete……this blends in well but remember- it’s just a theory.

MZ: You all announced this last night: “Trump announces Trade deal with Indonesia”  they were one of the first countries to come to the table and finish negotiations.

Member: Rupiah... Trump talked about their minerals and copper yesterday. Maybe expect more from them than $1.47.

Member: Genius Act House vote today. The rumor is it calls out CBDCs like M Taylor Green says it did.

Member: What are the top things you are looking for to start the RV Mark?

MZ: My top 3 things are happening right now. We are watching the Erbil and Kurdish agreements getting knocked out of the way…..Watching the mobilization forces…or Iranian militias going away. And the banking reforms finished……I would like to see more disclosure of corruption….but was told that may come right after they announce the currency reset…...

Frank26   Many of you may say, 'Well, Frank, ISO is nothing big.'   Yes it is.  Many of you may say every bank have to go ISO.  Yeah they do, don't they?  When has Iraq done it?  What if they did?  That means they want to do some international stuff to accomplish.  If you're going international there's a good chance you might increase the value of your currency because you're not going to do a lot of business outside with a low rate.  Ask Vietnam...I don't think Iraq wants to go through that.

Frank26  Donald Trump wants the Iraqi dinar to change its exchange rate.  IMO the whole world knows what the tariffs are for, to adjust your exchange rate...Anybody that is willing to sit down and talk with Trump will get a sweet deal.  Iraq will also get a sweet deal. So will Vietnam.  Just raise the value of your currency...and stop taking advantage of the American dollar through your trade.

Member: Happy Halfway Through 2025 ~ 6 months gone, what will we do with the rest of this year?

Member: Please please, pretty please Mark tell us some outstanding news. I really need something positive in my life right now

MZ: A friend of the podcast has a friend that is in charge of software rollouts at one of the biggest banks in America. One of the top three banks…….They had to work nonstop at updating software ever since Trump and the US struck the Iranian nuclear facilities. They were not working on it until that happened.

MZ: So they have been non stop updating software at this world leading bank. They are being told its because Iran will retaliate by taking out our banking infrastructure. That is the cover. They did not even get the 4th of July off due to updating equipment and software and hardware… Isn’t that interesting?

MZ:Z It could also be a cover or key time for putting in the QFS ect……..

MZ: I received this one a few days ago…but since I am inundated with so many emails I missed it. I really regret missing this one

MZ: “I walked into a “regional” bank and asked the teller if this location had a DelARue machine. She quickly passed me on to the bank manager. The manager scooted me into her office and closed the door. She asked why I would be needing one and I said I would be participating in the upcoming currency exchanges and wondering if your tellers were trained?

MZ: She said they were getting a DLR machine for this location but only herself and her back up manager would be facilitating exchanges. She never asked what currencies I had …I never offered that info. She did say when the time comes either myself or my assistant could travel to me to take care of my transactions. I turned down that offer saying I wanted to be treated like everyone else.

MZ: A couple weeks went by and I popped into a teller window to do my normal banking. I asked if the bank manager was in and was told that she was at lunch. As I was leaving the teller told me the bank manager was coming out to speak with you. She explained that all the tellers had been told to let them know if I came in looking for them.

MZ: The bank manager arrived and I was red faced at having made her leave her plate to answer a insignificant question. No matter how I try they will not treat me like everyone else. This is a true testimony that even some tier 3 regional banks are aware of the upcoming reset and will be taking part in the exchanges.

MZ: Thank you  for sharing those. I did filter out some things to protect individuals and businesses.

Member: Mark are you able to share if your bond contacts have received their funds now that ISO 20022 is activated?

MZ: I do have some key bond folks who has anticipated great movement last weekend with the new systems….…they have meetings today. So by the next podcast I should know how those meetings went. I am hopeful the message I get is “we have money”

MZ: From Iraq: “My relationship with Barzani is good and our disagreement is legal. We tried to convince Sadr to return to the elections”  there has been a lot of infighting to try to force Kurdistan into cooperation.

MZ: “ When will Sadr turn the tables. A new equation threatens the dominance of the framework in 2025 elections”   Sadr controls votes here. He is also pushing Barzani to get the Kurdish issues knocked out.

MZ: “ To enhance Electronic payment: Government meeting to activate Appel-pay in Iraq” This went exceptionally well…and there is a follow up meeting in 2 weeks. Iraq is going electronic and requires payment systems. Probably 80% of the currency sits under mattresses ect in Iraq. When more citizens embrace this and puts money in the banks it will unleash its potential. You need to put water in the pool before going swimming. There is great progress.

MZ: “Sudanese advisor reveals the most important pillars of the revival of the “Treasure” of Iraq” Sound economic policy. I love this one. Foreign investment is important to Iraq.

Member: Mike Bara believes VND may be only 0.47 and also we may be taxed?

Member: I always thought the worst case was going to be .47 cents for dong……love it to be higher though.

Member: So Trump and the Admin in recent weeks have been in the headlines regarding deals with (Iraq, Indonesia, Vietnam) and this would pander to the RV you would think?

Member: I just got a notification that Trump signed a trade deal with indonesia. the rupiah is one of the currencies that is rumored to revalue. quite a coincidence

MZ: Its crazy that these are some of the first deals Trump signed…..love it.

Member: So much wrong news and mis information….I am worried  I'm not going to believe when it really happens!

Member: Hoping the 800 numbers are coming this week…..What do you think Mark?

MZ: I do not know the timing but I feel very good about this month.

Clare:  19,000 barrels are lost between Baghdad and Erbil...and Al-Marsoumi proposes dividing them.

7/13/2025- Baghdad

Economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi said on Saturday (July 12, 2025) that the current oil dispute between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region does not deserve to turn into a complex crisis, noting that the core of the dispute revolves around only 19,000 barrels of oil per day.

Al-Marsoumi said in a social media post, followed by Baghdad Today, that “the oil minister indicates that the dispute is limited to 19,000 barrels per day, while the regional government says it needs 65,000 barrels, while Baghdad offers to provide it with 46,000.”

Al-Marsoumi added sarcastically, "This isn't a difficult problem. It can be solved very simply. Take ten from Baghdad and ten from the region, and (may God have mercy on your father)," calling for a swift settlement to end the suffering of the region's employees who are awaiting their salaries and continue to pray for someone to contribute to resolving the crisis.   LINK

Clare:  The two Kurdish parties issue a joint statement...an agreement on Baghdad

7/14/2025  - Erbil

The two Kurdish parties, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), led by Masoud Barzani, and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), headed by Pavel Talabani, held a meeting on Tuesday, during which they agreed to continue negotiations and dialogue to resolve the issue of employee salaries and other issues.

A joint statement by the two parties, received by Shafaq News Agency, stated that after discussing and analyzing the political, economic, and social dimensions, the two sides agreed to intensify efforts to resolve the problem and provide salaries to employees of the Kurdistan Region, within the framework of the constitution, through joint cooperation between the two sides.

Another part of the meeting was devoted to discussing strengthening relations between the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), overcoming challenges and obstacles, and protecting the Kurdistan Region and its achievements. 

The attendees stressed the need to unify positions between Kurdish and Iraqi political parties to overcome and resolve this problem.   LINK

Frank26   The ISO 20022 is going to allow the Iraqi dinar to play fairly globally with their currency because this is what our president is asking...This was a line item with the IMF and the World Bank on their economic reform to up their global standards...They set up [July] 14th a long time ago. 

Walkingstick  Question: "They Syrian Central Bank has posed Middle Eastern exchange rates but they did not post the Iraqi dinar today.  I believe they know a change is coming.  What do you think sir?"  That's exactly right...Meaning not posted until a new rate is released by the CBI.  The CBI makes the call if and when they want their currency listed for buy, sell or trade.

Rick Rule: “The Only Way to Honor $100 Trillion in Debt Is to Devalue the Dollar”

“The circumstance that we existed in from 1980 to 2020 — while it was very pleasant — is over,” says Rick Rule, legendary investor and founder of Rule Investment Media.

Speaking with Daniela Cambone at the Rule Symposium in Boca Raton, Rule warns that the era of low interest rates has ended, and U.S. dollar hegemony is weakening.

“It seems to me that the only way that you honor the nominal value of our obligations… is by devaluing the purchasing power,” he says, pointing to over $100 trillion in entitlements and debt.

“You honor the nominal obligation of Social Security to an old geezer like me by continuing to pay him $4,000 a month... but by devaluing the dollar.”

Looking back at history, Rule points out that in the 1970s, the purchasing power of the dollar “declined by 75%,” and that “the gold price ran 30-fold.”

 He believes the setup is repeating and this time, “we are in a gold and gold equities bull market." No, we're not waiting for it. We're here," he concludes.

Member: Welcome to Monday and a new week.

Member: any bond news this morning Mark?

MZ: No updates yet…but the expectations were to see wiring of funds starting today after ISO 20022 kicked in this weekend.

Member: Well today is supposed to be a big day in the banking world with Iso 20022…. Hope something good happens.

MZ: I was told from connected folks sitting out west that the platform has been set , they are testing this morning …and they have great hopes of moving forward. That’s what I heard from some group leaders.

Member: it's definitely a slow process. Mark's bondholders have been saying it's close for 2 yrs. can't imagine thinking you're close for that long.

MZ: We do know they upgraded banks all over the world – including the US. Regional banks, local banks and many government institutions were upgraded over the weekend…I think we may have a lot to watch today.

MZ: Hoping for updates from bonds, banks and groups over the next few days.

Member: Frank said his bank contact Aki was testing the ISO 20022 system in his Detroit banks over the weekend..

MZ: There were a lot of bank personnel that worked over the weekend. . The redemption centere/wealth management folks I know did now work.

MZ: In Iraq :  “Baghdad to host a high level Kurdish meeting tonight to discuss the region’s salary file” That was last night. We know they brought in all the heavy hitters….but what we don’t know is “what were the results”  They are hopeful for this week.

MZ: “Parliamentary Oil: Iraq is subject to sanctions that may cripple its economy due to the smuggling of Kurdistan” Baghdad is pointing out that many of the threats of sanctions is coming because of smuggling in the northern regions. It could shut down all of Iraq if Kurdistan does not start playing along.  There is a lot of pressure on the Kurdish region.

MZ: “House of Representatives resumes its sessions with crucial decisions and important laws”  they are finally back to work. We expect to see a lot of decisions out of Iraq over the next few days.

Member: Silver at $39.08

Member: Mark…I heard silver is forcast to go over $50 this week!!!
