Member: MLK Day is a holiday so it's a 3 day weekend. Another prime opportunity to RV. Its also Inauguration day…..It’s a tri-fecta of possibilities

MZ: It really is a prime time to do it with the extended weekend. There will be several days of inauguration festivities, MLK Day and right after will be the National day of Prayer. Prime time to do it.

Member: Mark, it feels like everything's coming to head...

Member: Will the RV can be kicked into February?

MZ:I don’t think so at this point. I am not hearing anything pointing to that.

Member: How much time will we have to exchange?

MZ: I was told at least 30 days.

MZ: On the bond side there is still a lot of hope for between the 16th and the 22nd. Groups have been quiet as have Indian Nations since last Friday or Saturday. .

Member: Maybe they are waiting for the “shotgun” to happen on the 3 day weekend and everyone go at the same time???

Member: Article: Al-Mashhadani: Iraq enjoys stability and is about to economic prosperity and returned to its influential role in the region

MZ: I love that one…..yes they are about prosper economically

MZ: “Coordination Framework: Soon we will vote on amending the budget law” We already had the first 2 readings.” This will solve the oil dispute between Baghdad and Erbil. We have seen major progress in the last couple of days ….With the budget is a rate potential.

MZ: “Iraq to create a new State Owned Bank” it’s a new innovative financial institution named Rafadain First Bank…The government will be a 24% stake holder. They will modernize with their current structure and focus on exchange. They are doing everything they need to do to raise the purchasing power for all Iraqis.

MZ: “Anouz: The region’s commitment to deliver oil revenues is a prerequisite for guaranteeing the salaries of its employees” they are dedicated to fix this issue.

Member: What was the date of Kuwait RV? Just in case this is a mirror. Was thinking January 29th?

Member: I beleive it was March 24, 1991?

Member: I wish they would stop yakking about it and flip the damn switch already!

MZ: “The house of Representatives votes to amend the passport law and extend the work of the election commission” If you read deeper in the article is states the second reading of the budget law was successful!!

MZ: We did indeed have the second reading today.

Member: Mark, After the 2nd reading doesn't it automatically go to final(3rd)

Member: According to Frank they are on the third reading now

Member; I read They don’t need a 3rd reading because it was already in the budget and they just made a change, so they only need 2 reading to pass it.

MZ: We are seeing the popping up on different aps….IQD and IQD pairings with different crypto pairings….this is big.

Member: I wonder…is it possible for Iraq to rv with Sudani out of the country right now? He is on a state visit to the UK

MZ: Yes Sudani is heading to England today for some dialog. They are discussing going International.

The Iraqi General Authority of Customs announced on Sunday that the electronic payment service will be temporarily suspended tomorrow, Monday.

The authority said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "The Central Bank of Iraq informed us that the electronic payment service will stop tomorrow, January 13, 2025, at 12 midnight for two hours, for the purpose of making updates to their systems."  LINK

The Central Bank of Iraq works within its strategy to provide various services to bank cardholders, by expanding the spread of cash delivery outlets and through all available channels, including ATMs and POC cash payment devices, as well as authorized exchange companies, electronic payment company outlets, and POS electronic payment devices spread throughout Iraq.

The Central Bank confirms in its circulars that included directing banks and non-banking financial institutions to spread and expand their financial services in areas that lack the aforementioned services.

While the bank seeks to develop these services by establishing the latest infrastructure for financial products and services in Iraq, and improving them continuously.

I recently read an article about an individual who moved to the U.S. from New Zealand 12 years ago. They were expressing their difficulty, 12 years later, on adjusting to the cultural differences.

They expressed how when they first moved here they discovered the U.S. tends to have a more cutthroat, competitive culture in which people can be overlooked or dismissed if they’re not prepared to speak loudly and clearly about their accomplishments.

Back in New Zealand however, they were used to, and raised in, a culture that encourages people to act humble. Where people don’t tend to talk up their accomplishments and try to give credit to others (even if it rightly belongs to them).

Though this may be a small thing, these sorts of cultural differences can feel like a minefield to navigate and has made some social interactions a constant source of stress for years. We have to keep in mind for a GCR to occur these cultural differences are going to have to be accounted for. Who gets what, how they get it, and how the process will integrate through all these various cultural minefields.

Remember, the GCR is a redistribution of global wealth drawing from multiple countries and multiple cultural differences, not printing more money. Cultural differences play a pivotal role because they shape how societies view wealth, fairness, and redistribution.

In some cultures, wealth is viewed as a sign of hard work and individual success, while in others, it’s seen as a communal resource meant to be shared. Redistribution may face resistance in societies that highly value individual achievement and property rights.

While many cultures have religious or ethical systems that influence their stance on wealth sharing. For example: Zakat in Islam mandates wealth redistribution as a religious duty, western cultures influenced by Protestant ethics may stress individual responsibility over collective welfare.

Cultural definitions of fairness way in. Fairness can mean different things across cultures. In the Global North, fairness might emphasize equal opportunity. In the Global South, fairness may focus on compensating for historical injustices like colonialism or exploitation. These differing views could complicate consensus on how wealth should be redistributed globally.

How we approach and address cultural differences would have to include some type of inclusive dialogue that would engage diverse stakeholders to ensure all voices are heard, respecting cultural norms and values.

They would have to highlight shared global challenges like poverty and climate change to build solidarity. They have to design flexible redistribution models tailored to cultural contexts rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all solution. And most of all we will have to strengthen international institutions and promote transparency to gain widespread support.

So all the massive changes to the mechanisms required to pull this off aside, getting the global community and integrating the cultural norms of each participant to sink together, is in itself a challenge we don’t normally consider.

Militia Man  I try to be calm cool and collected as much as possible because I'll be honest with you, this transition, when it happens is going to be something that everybody's going to have to deal with and it's going to be a shock.  Just like the World Bank had said to not just us but they said to the countries of the world, be prepared for shock.  They said it in writing that, hey, be prepared for shock and when Iraq does a big move and other currencies are involved markets will be shocked to some degree...

Jeff  They're bringing the budget off the shelf...I told you the budget would stay on the shelf collecting dust until they're about ready to revalue.  From October 8th to now the budget did remain on the shelf collecting a whole bunch of dust.  What did I tell you about January?  I said January is a very critical month.  Keep your eyes on it...They are now talking about pulling the budget off the shelf and getting the budget schedules approved by parliament.  Thing are now finally preparing to happen and come forward because they're about ready to revalue the currency.

MZ: That’s a great question. I know a number of bond contacts are suddenly convinced that this is our week. They had been afraid it would be after the inauguration….but are now hearing they could get their 1% before…..then 9% a week or two after. Then they set up traunches (payments) for the balance.

Member: I wonder if when bonds get their 1% if we get our notifications?

Member: Will we have full access to all our funds when we exchange Mark?

MZ: Yes…I am told we will have full access on currency exchanges

MZ: Groups are pretty quiet so far today. I do know that a couple bankers have meetings this afternoon. These are members of “Wealth Management”  

Member: MM is pretty excited

MZ: There has been fantastic news. Now we just need that to translate into dollars for us all.

Member: Rumors out there: HCL got approved in the parliament with the Green light to start And tonight they are updating the payment system in Iraq from 12:00 - 2:00 am

Member: I would be willing to bet that the HCL is done, we are just waiting for an event. Will be so glad when this is all over.

Member: Disappointed about the lack of quorum.

MZ: Yes we were told the Iraqi parliament did not get a quorum to do the second reading of HCL. Yet. But they do expect it tomorrow. It could be misinformation…..but that is not what I hear from the Iraqi Press right now.

Member: "Breaking the quorum" .. A demand to publish the names of those absent from the Iraqi parliament session”

Member: MarkZ, I find it curious that Tonight, Iraq is shutting down for 2 hrs, their electronic payment system!

Member: Zoom News announced that tonight at Midnight Iraq time, the payment system will shut down for updates.

MZ: They are updating their electronic systems specifically for borders and customs …this is a scheduled update. They are using the AYUSCUDA system for all their borders.

Member: "2025 budget is on the verge of legislation, and delaying the schedules will not stop the decision" - Jamal Kojer

Member: Zoom news Baghdad: The Iraqi Parliament has completed the second reading of the Federal Budget Law amendment which seeks to break the oil export deadlock with the Kurdistan Region halted since March of 2023

MZ: they are posting opposite/opposing  articles…they do it on purpose to cloud the timing…...so thanks for that one. .

Member: Iraq loves smoke and mirrors.

Member: where there is smoke there has to be fire?

MZ: “Will Trump strengthen the US presence in Iraq instead of withdrawing?” The US needs to project strength in the region. Their best bet is to work closely with Iraq , who is becoming a leader in the region. I believe he will be working with the Iraqi government- not against them.

Member: Informed political source revealed, on Saturday evening, an upcoming visit by the envoy of the US President-elect, Donald Trump, to Iraq, carrying message to Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.

Member: Trump said Iraq talks differently privately then they do publically.

MZ: Absolutely. It is a mind set difference all throughout the Arab world.

Member: My Wells Fargo finally confirmed the RV.

MZ: They all know its coming…..They know we are having a complete change in the system and we are going asset backed…They know gold is an important piece. Im not sure if they will use the same terminology you and I use or will they call it something different?

Member: They may not call it a QFS…..but we know what the new system does….safer and faster and much better.

Member: What is your gut feeling Mark?

MZ: My gut is screaming sometime between now and Jan 22. Just a guess……

Member: If the RV doesn't happen before February this year I will be really surprised!

Member: Why does the finish line keep moving further away every week?

Member: Maybe the finish line isn’t moving…..maybe we are waiting for the starting line to begin next Monday on Jan 20th?

Tishwash:  Kurdish MP: Postponing today's session is a shock to MPs, and the parliament presidency bears responsibility

The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Jiay Timur, expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the current parliamentary session, while describing the lack of quorum and the adjournment of the session before it began as a “shock” to the representatives.

Timur told {Euphrates News} that: "The lack of quorum and the adjournment of the session before it started was a shock to the MPs, and there were 154 MPs in attendance in today's session."

Clare:  The House of Representatives discusses amending the Unified Retirement Law and the General Budget

The Iraqi Council of Representatives is scheduled to resume its sessions tomorrow, Sunday, and the first reading of the draft amendment to the Federal Budget Law is on the agenda, as it proposes extending the retirement age for public sector employees to 63 years.

In this regard, Dr. Narmin Marouf, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, said: “The first session of the first legislative term of the new year will be held on Sunday, as the agenda includes the first reading of the draft law amending the General Retirement Law No. 9 of 2014.”

Dr. Narmin Marouf added: “The main article to be amended in the law is Article 5 related to the retirement age, as the amendment proposes returning the retirement age for public sector employees to 63 years, as it was before the legislation of the aforementioned law, which reduced the retirement age to 60 years.”

The Council of Representatives is scheduled to hold another session on Monday 13/10, and its agenda includes 10 paragraphs, the most important of which is the second reading of the draft amendment to the Federal General Budget Law.

The amendment relates to Article 12 of the Federal Budget Law of the Republic of Iraq for the fiscal years (2023-2024-2025) No. 13 of 2023, and this article concerns the export of oil extracted from the Kurdistan Region through the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).

On 11/7/2024, the Presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives decided to extend its legislative term for 30 days, starting from November 9.  LINK

Member: Thought HCL was Approved already a few weeks ago?   They really do like to kick the can

Member: Goldilocks said HCL was done and they were only waiting for 2 laws to be signed in quickly and we are good to go. I believe they were signed in already.

MZ: I am being told if the second reading goes well….they will immediately do the third reading …then Boom we will finally have the HCL.

Member: This is mental gymnastics because it was said that HCL had been already done. They had a second reading before last year. It seems like they are trying to throw off timing on this.

MZ: No updates on CMKX, Mr. C or the bond side yet today

Member: I heard a rumor that Sudani said the IQD would be worth $54 cents in the next 72 hours.

Member: At this point, I don't care what the rate is. Just get it done. I will make it work

MZ: I had not heard that tumor yet…but who would jump on it? I would sure think about exchanging and holding it in a multi currency account

Member: so you hold it in an account like that to just wait for an increase in it's value?  Sounds good

MZ: In today’s banking world where we do not have parity (same rate values) currencies fluctuate against each other.  If you hold currency in a multi currency account –held in the bank account as Iraqi dinars…..not US dollars. Then if the currency rate goes up…..my bank account goes up as well.

Member: If I could bring in 25,000 IQD and hold the rest for later I would jump!

Member: Still hearing no RV until after the inauguration.

MZ: It’s possible. Mr. C is of that belief. But my banking sources still believe there is a good possibility we will have a rate change this evening……..late this evening

MZ: if the news is so good after this evening…..I will be here tomorrow to let you all know.

MZ: It always was stated that the best time to do this was between 11PM est and 2AM est on a Saturday night into a Sunday Morning …so maybe?

MZ: But a number of bond contacts told me very clearly it will happen after the 21st or 22nd.

Member: Will we still get a contract rate on the IQD?

Member: would you explain contract rate vs exchange rate in simple terms.

Member: the exchange rate is for general public. Contract rate is part of an oil contract in Iraq that will pay a higher rate than public rate. We'll get the contract rate on exchange.

MZ: “Zimbabwe’s currency crisis worsens as illegal traders flourish” This is showing us clearly why they need to move forward. Zimbabwe needs the reset- for all of us to go for them to have the liquidity they need.

Welcome everybody to the big call tonight. It is Thursday, January 9TH  and you're listening to the big call.  Welcome everybody that's within the sound of my voice. Thank you. Big call universe for tuning in again, all over the place, literally, in countries that the United States does not own or control. Yet, who knows, right? Still early – ha ha  just teasing. Well, thank you guys for tuning in, yet again, let's, let's open up the call with a word of prayer.

All right, let us get into the so called Intel segment. So  this is, this is where we are today. You know, we did Tuesday nights call, and I got a little information. I put Intel out that I really thought was pretty solid for Wednesday or Thursday. Then we heard that we would have notifications today or tomorrow. So I'll get back into that in a minute. But what was going on?

Let's call it Wednesday morning. -Yesterday morning – hold on -- was it was going on Tuesday, starting in the morning, they were starting to ping between redemption centers banks, using the Starlink satellite system in conjunction with the QFS, the quantum financial system.

All of that was happening, not only here, but around the world, all banks, all redemption centers, pinging  through the Starlink system and touch and connecting through the quantum financial system -that was to occur and in at about 10 o'clock at night, last night, which was Wednesday night, and it ended up going four hours longer, which we put at 2am in the morning.

So they wrapped all that up at 2am in the morning, this morning, Thursday morning. And then the point was when those banks and redemption centers had completed all of the pinging around the world, the rates on the screens would become live.

Now that's in banks, on bank screens, and in redemption centers, the rates on their screens would all be live as of 2am in the morning this morning.

Now it's been a little tough to get detailed information on this. It’s probably just as well  -- we did understand that there was a conference call yesterday from noon to Eastern that would have incorporated all of the redemption centers, leaders and bank managers, at least bank managers throughout the country, the US.

And then what was interesting was that there were two main,  main things that they discuss, from what we've heard on this conference call, one of which was that these currencies which we're exchanging, they are not a taxable event.

Now, how long have I been on doing a big call? 13 years. We've known that forever, but some people did not know that it was a non taxable event and it was designed to be way on purpose.

Well, certain people in the deep state would like to say differently, some of the bankers and so on on the call, thought that they had heard that it was taxable. Well, it doesn't matter what they heard. It's just not true. It's a non taxable event.

Now, the income that you earn from interest being paid on your account in the bank that interest is called passive income, and it will be taxed, but the event itself, the exchange of currencies and the redemption of Zim is not taxable, okay, so that's important.

And the other thing that was brought out was they went back and forth, I guess, and discussed this in a way that was definitive. Finally, remember, I've been telling you guys to ask for the contract rate on dinar, if you have Iraqi dinar, and that would be substantially higher.

I know roughly what it is. It's much higher. And I was told that they discussed this on their conference call, and it was determined previously that everyone with the Din would be offered the contract rate.

So that's a win right there. Not the front screen rate, not the bank front screen rate, but the contract rate for dinar. And so that should be the case.

Now here's the caveat. Let's say you go into a reception center, but you have  dinar and they don't offer you the contract rate, then ask them for it. I believe they will. But in case something fell through the cracks, you go ahead and ask them. Or if they don't offer to you first, okay, that's the way I'm going to handle it? Okay? That takes us through conference call.

Now what we had heard yesterday was that there was going to be a possibility to get the toll free numbers either late this afternoon or early tomorrow morning?

Well, guess what? It wasn't late this afternoon. Was it? What does that mean? That makes early tomorrow morning look pretty strong right now, and the chances that the theory is that we would set appointments Friday tomorrow, Friday the 10th and exchange. If we don't get started exchanging tomorrow, it would be Saturday the 11th of January.

Now let's talk about R and R. I just heard this evening that restitution and reconciliation allowance would occur after the inauguration of January, 20 of President Trump. We had heard in the first 10 days of January.

Today, the ninth, I don't think so, we got new information that said it would be sometime this month, but it would be after the 20th, which is Inauguration Day. Now that's referring to R, and R, I can't speak to Social Security. That was supposed to happen in the month of January, and still could, the increase could still occur.

But realize what we are talking about -  as that has nothing to do with the RV, some people have conflated those two subjects, and we believe, based on our sources, that we are ready to get started with numbers coming out to us tomorrow With the emails from Wells Fargo.

I know that yesterday,  funds were moving globally from the Rodriguez Trust, which is humongous and never seems to have a bottom to it. Funds were moving for NESARA and GESARA globally, and we'll just have to see what what occurs with that and when that occurs.

But it should be after Inauguration Day, and I don't know how soon, but it should be between then and the 31st which is the last day of January. So we'll keep an eye on that, although we really are more important, what's most important to us right now in for our exchanges and our redemption of zoom at the redemption centers, setting our appointments, Lord willing tomorrow -and then going, if not tomorrow, then Saturday, for our exchanges.

And if we do that, and we do start Saturday, we would they would be open Sunday, and you go by the weekend, but that's what the plan is, as as it stood tonight, a half an hour before the big call.

But we're   just going to have to kind of watch that and see how it all goes now. I don't think there's anything related to the exchanges or anything else that is coming to mind right now that we don't already know, but this is the latest and most up to date that we have.

And I love to be up to date and give you the latest thing I've heard, and we've got some pretty good sources that that do still try to talk to us, not everybody that we want to hear from is able to, but I guess we have just enough to give you an Intel segment that is the best that we can do.

 The media department of the House of Representatives announced, on Thursday, the agenda of the parliament session next Sunday, including voting and reading of draft laws, including the 2025 budget schedules and others related to minorities and security.

According to the agenda, which was received by Shafaq News Agency, the parliament session next Sunday, January 13, includes 10 paragraphs, distributed between voting on draft laws, including the National Intelligence Service Law and mental health.

The session will also include reading draft laws, including the Yazidi genocide, the protection of minorities, and the federal budget schedules for 2025  LINK

US President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with leaders of the Arab and Muslim community in the United States and honor them, including the Iraqi Elina Habba, the lawyer who was known for being one of Trump's defenders and one of his most prominent supporters in the elections. 

Leaders of the Arab and Muslim American community revealed that a meeting will be held between President-elect Donald Trump and his Vice President, Geddy Vance, with community leaders in Washington, DC, two days before the inauguration of the president-elect for a new term on January 20.

The leaders explained to the "Erem News" website that "this meeting is an embodiment of the commitment that Trump made to the community during his election campaign in Michigan last fall."

They pointed out that "the meeting will be a celebration of Trump's success in winning the elections, in addition to renewing the emphasis on the special relationship that has linked Arab and Muslim American voters to the Republican Party in recent years."

The leaders revealed that the list of invitees to this meeting will include, in addition to officials of Arab and Muslim origins who were appointed to the new Trump administration, community leaders who were in the front lines of supporting Trump’s campaign in an attempt to win the votes of the Arab and Muslim community in Michigan and the rest of the US states. 

After announcing his victory in the elections, President Trump took the initiative to appoint Americans of Arab and Muslim origins to senior positions in his new administration.

Leaders explained to "Erem News" that there are other appointments on the way for more Arab Americans in the Trump administration in the days and weeks that will follow the president's swearing-in.

Among the names to be honored at the meeting are Trump's senior Middle East adviser, Massad Boulos, ambassador-designate to Turkey Tom Barrack, Iraqi-born lawyer Elina Habba, adviser to the president, and the appointed "Doctor of the Nation" of Jordanian origin, Janet Nesheiwat, in addition to Muslim physician Mehmet Oz and Egyptian-born physician Martha McCary, who was appointed director of the Food and Drug Administration.   LINK

And so Iraq will also have to recover these funds too. The UN already decreed these funds should be returned to Iraq...we are watching this closely.
