Ariel:  People Who Hold IQD Should be Ready

Tues, Dec 17th 2024

Dec. 17th:  Which coincidentally appears to be the same day that Iraq launches payments for the Kurdistan region. I will say this once they release the new exchange rate things are going to speed up people.

This is going to be almost like everything, everywhere, all at once to some degree. There will still be phases. Which I think will be phases 4 being the final.

A lot of people are going to have a hard time with 3. Which will determine if you even qualify what will happen in 4. But that’s another story for another time. But definitely not long before we get there.

People who hold IQD should be ready to get things moving in whatever manner suits you best. Because there will be a shift in how banks decide to deal with you once they find out you have foreign currency. Even the ones who told you they do not trade it. You will be the boss.

Is Gold The Fed's Plan B? | David Morgan

Member:  Kim Clement prophesied we would have a great fall, fall ends on 12/20 praying we get this over with before winter 12/21

MZ: “Iraq Minister of Finance with $631 billion dinar –the salaries of the regions employees for the month of November”  it looks like things are finally breaking loose in the Erbil Region with money flowing…..hopefully this includes HCL and a release. .

Member: So the 140 ambassadors in Iraq was a nothing burger?

MZ: Part of what the emissaries in Iraq last weekend accomplished is to bring an expected $100 billion in investments to Iraq . But I think under the cover of this-was the final negotiations on the Arab basket of currencies.

Member: lots of articles today about auctions stopping in Iraq before end of year.

Member: Let’s hope the new rate also comes by then.

MZ: It was our understanding auctions were supposed to stop on the 15th. But, they had an auction this morning hours earlier then usual…..  an auction worth about $275 million dollare were auctioned off….more dinars off the streets.

Member: I wonder - what are the chances that Iraq goes alone?

Member: A follower shared me the screenshot from today.said it was visible for 5 min at 3.29 before it reverted back.I could not verify it. Just FYI

MZ: We are seeing a lot of that…lots of rate fluctuations.

Member: Probably teaser rates while they keep testing the system.

MZ: I do have updates from different contractors and contractor groups. My personal friend over there says he will not give a rate as it would compromise the contracts. But I have heard from a couple others that the most common rate they are being told is $3.92 as they are redoing contracts.   I do not know how accurate that is but thought it was worth sharing. I did hear it from a number of sources so it may be just circletel…but it does fit closely to what is expected. $3.92 would be awesome, but consider it a rumor for now. .

Member: At $3.92, I'm taking it and be happy as a pig in slop

Member: do you still think we all go at once?

MZ: I think the public goes all at once. Special and connected people will go a little bit ahead. It’s just the way of the world.

MZ: “ The two main parties held their second meeting to discuss the formation of the new Kurdistatn Regional government” Their government wasn’t working so they are fixing it. They want financial reforms, HCL and a reset done.

Member: What a great concept, Fixing Government.

MZ: This one is huge: “ After a break of more than 30 years, Iraq wins the presidency of the executive board of the Arab investment company” the last time this happened was Pre-Saadam Hussein. This was back in the time when the Iraqi dinar was very valuable. This is an International position.

MZ: “Today’s Newspapers follow the project of rehabilitating the historic city of Baghdad and the opening of the first phase of the great port of Faw next year” This is a great update on how much progress Iraq has made. They are looking to become a tourist hotspot again.

Member: Simply Lynn said its GO time!!

MZ: if it was we would be all going. Not accurate.

Member: My Chase Wealth Manager had meeting that just started at 10 and is investigating.

Member: Mark you are absolutely right I call my wealth manager and they said she didn’t hear anything yet

Member: A number of people think that tomorrow is our day. We will see.

Member: Christmas is eight day away. I am not expecting it until after the inauguration but if it happens sooner….woohoo

MZ: A number of my contacts think it’s absolutely this week…..some think not until the 3rd or 4th week of January. But the majority still think its this week. We hope they are accurate.

Member: All the banks in my area require you have had an account for at least 6 months. Do you know of any other banks that don't require a 6 month account?

Member: If you are bringing in millions of dollars to their bank…you can bet they will open as many accounts as you want….imo

Member: will most banks accept Zim?

Member: The Zim will most likely be exchanged at military bases due to higher security and mostly military hold it. There is no limit, but you may get tranches if you hold a lot. This is what Mark has said.

Member: Do we know the best time to release the RV?

MZ: I was always told during non banking hours would be best…I have been told since the beginning that the best times are between 11Pm to 2 Am est……that is when the banking system around the world is the quietest. Preferably it will happen late Saturday night into Sunday morning…but it could happen at any time.

Member: is IQD and VND taxable?

MZ: I am still hearing the exchange is non taxable. I set aside extra just in case…just to be safe

Member: if it happens after the inauguration….chances are it all will be not taxed.

DJ:  Asset-Backed Currency vs. Fiat Currency and Financial System Implications

The public, as a whole, seem to be obsessed with the idea of asset backed currency. While it may sound good the reality of how it will work has its own set of obstacles. Maybe we shouldn’t be so quick to accept it without understanding its effects.

The debate between asset-backed currency and fiat currency has persisted for decades, with both systems offering distinct advantages and challenges. Each system has profound implications for global financial infrastructure and requires a robust messaging systems to move value efficiently through interconnected markets.

Asset-backed currencies are tied to tangible resources such as gold, silver, or other commodities. It does offer a certain stability and trust: Pegging currency to a tangible asset provides inherent value, reducing inflation risks and instilling confidence in the monetary system.

It also offers reduced government manipulation as the supply of money is limited by the availability of the backing asset, mitigating arbitrary monetary expansion. It would benefit international trade by having a universally recognized value, such as gold, could reduce currency volatility and foster smoother international trade.

But it would also be hampered by resource constraints as the finite availability of backing assets limits economic growth, as currency issuance would be directly tied to resource acquisitions. Managing, securing, and auditing the reserves backing the currency would also be costly and cumber.: In times of crisis, governments cannot easily expand the money supply to stabilize the economy, leading to potential stagnation.

On the other hand Fiat currency is based on trust in the issuing government or central authority and is not backed by physical commodities. It allows for economic growth and flexibility: Central banks can adjust the money supply to support economic objectives, such as controlling inflation or stimulating growth. Without the need for physical backing it makes it simpler to operate, making fiat currencies easier and cheaper. Most economies operate on fiat currency because it simplifies international trade and financial coordination.

The problem with Fiat currency is it is susceptible to overissuance, leading to potential hyperinflation and loss of value. Fiat money’s value hinges entirely on public and investor confidence, which can erode during political or economic instability. Unchecked monetary policy often benefits financial markets and large institutions, encouraging wealth disparities.

Both systems require efficient messaging infrastructures to transmit value across domestic and international markets. Current messaging systems networks like SWIFT, Fedwire, and the European Central Bank’s TARGET2 facilitate fiat currency transactions. These systems rely on secure communication protocols to ensure timely and accurate financial messaging..

Transitioning to an asset-backed system will necessitate a hybrid approach. Modernizing existing systems to incorporate asset certification and real-time reserve auditing will be a necessity . As an example, blockchain will offer transparent verification of backing assets and streamline cross-border transactions. Innovations like ISO 20022 messaging standards can harmonize financial communication across systems. If asset-backed currencies become mainstream, integrating smart contracts to automate value transfer and asset verification will bridge the gap between physical resources and digital finance.

The choice between asset-backed and fiat currency is a trade-off between stability and flexibility. While fiat systems dominate today’s global economy, shifting to or incorporating asset-backed models requires significant adaptations in financial messaging and technology. Striking a balance between the two will be the most viable path, leveraging advanced systems to ensure both security and adaptability in a rapidly evolving economic landscape.

Bottom line is, don’t assume going asset-backed is a cure all. It’s going to take a combination of mechanisms to stabilize the global financial networks. You can’t punch with one finger. It takes a fist to have an effect. But then again, have you ever been poked in the eye?

Mnt Goat   My CBI contact has told me that if the switch over of the currency, better known as the Project to Delete the Zeros, was not connected with a revaluation, then Iraq would have completed it a very long time ago.  They would not have to wait.  It does not take a rocket scientists to see that a one dinar note etc., etc. would be worthless without a revaluation to coincide...we can now see why they delay in doing the Project to Delete the Zeros...  when will this next move occur...So, we are coming very close to the switch over from the currency auctions to the international process of currency exchanges to operate in Iraq.  [Post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

Mnt Goat  Why did the CBI decide to wait until the end of their fiscal year to do it?  Hint..Hint..could it be under the direction of Dr Shabibi they also told us the most opportune time to conduct a substantial revaluation is at the beginning of a fiscal year? Their fiscal year begins January 1st... Also I then back up with my conversation I had...with my CBI contact that told me her committee to switch out the notes still intends to go forward with the process of deleting the zeros at this same time period also.  Coincidental?  ...We can only pray that this new process to begin at the end of 2024 will bring success for Iraq...  [Post 2 of 2]

Member: We’ve been on this journey for a long while. Is the destination in sight?

Member: Well we may not have an RV before Christmas….but hopefully it will be an amazing New Year for us all.

MZ: There is an excellent chance that it is. I am waiting to hear from bond folks and groups today and tomorrow. hopefully I will have an update by this evening.

Member: There are tons of rumors today . I have iraqi sources that are very happy and have a lot of money- but they won’t tell me where it has suddenly came from. I did get an update from another contractor in Iraq who said “yes, we are prepared for a new rate” after their negotiations last week.

MZ: Something is going to change because they are looking at “changed rates” on contracts and what they will be getting paid and how. I do know for certain there have been negotiations over a new rate. So rate is about to change or they would not have negotiated it. There are some pretty excited people in Iraq.

Member: My sisters friends boyfriend is in tier 3 and they got a code on being paid Friday night. Fully paid spendable money.

MZ: I am not surprised. Depends on which pot of money its coming from but to me, I do not doubt some money is moving.

Member: did the St. Germaine trust open yet?

MZ: I am not finding any evidence that is has.

Member: Eager to hear what you have from Iraq! Seems a lot happened yesterday regarding payouts to the Kurdistan region!

Member: Does the Kurdistan region getting paid on the 17th mean the rate has to be shown in public???

MZ: “ New details about the parliamentary delegation to Erbil” (Kurdistan) They talk about stability so they can support a better rate.

Member: Majeed said the Iraqi people are getting paid tomorrow.

MZ: lots of rumors about that.

MZ: “ Our economy and banks in 2025” This is an ongoing theme in Iraq. We saw similar articles right before Kuwait revalued their currency. Iraq is in a phenomenal position compared to the rest of the world. I understand why Jaimie Dimon called Iraq the “Economic savior of the world” 

Member: Mark I was told Iraq might go by themselves bc they have to be done by Dec 31 for many reasons having to do with their place internationally

Member: Nadar said the Dinar is on the FOREX!!!!

Member: If it was – we would be exchanging…so just another rumor…imo

MZ: its kinda half way trading on forex…it’s getting a little exciting as we are starting to see fluctuations. First step is to lift sanctions. But now that it’s in place the value could jump quickly. They are laying the groundwork.

MZ: In Iraq: “Parliamentary finance : the Iraqi economy will not be affected by the Syrian situation”  they have a solid economic footing.

The Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence issued a notice today, Sunday, regarding the opening of the electronic passport system outside Iraq.

A statement by the Directorate stated, "The Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence would like to inform citizens regarding the campaign to open the electronic passport system outside the country to be available to Iraqis residing abroad."

The statement added, "Tomorrow, corresponding to 12/16/2024, is the date for the opening of the electronic passport systems in the cities of Los Angeles and Detroit in the United States of America, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."   LINK

Clare:  Minister of Electricity sponsors signing of contract to build 3 transformer stations in southern Iraq with international funding

In Sunday, the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadhil, sponsored the signing ceremony of a contract to establish three secondary electricity conversion stations in Basra Governorate, with a capacity of 3×90 MVA and a voltage of 132/33 kV, funded by the World Bank.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, and received by Shafaq News Agency, the project will be implemented by a coalition of the Turkish companies (BEST and BETAS), while the German company Antik Cuba will supervise the consultancy of the project, which is scheduled to be completed within 18 months.

The three stations are distributed over vital areas in Basra. Al-Qibla station will be established in the governorate center to serve areas with high population density, Al-Ghadeer station in Al-Ghadeer neighborhood to meet the needs of residents and service projects, while Al-Faiha station in Shatt Al-Arab district will serve residential areas and service projects.

During the signing ceremony, the Minister stressed the importance of this strategic project, noting that the new stations will contribute to increasing the hours of electricity supply, resolving bottlenecks in the electricity grid, in addition to providing reliable power sources and achieving stability in the electricity system in the governorate.

It is noteworthy that this project comes within the Ministry of Electricity’s plans to develop the infrastructure of the electricity grid and improve the electricity service for citizens throughout Iraq.LINK

The US and Canada started (allegedly) paying VIPs on Wed. 4 Dec, Thurs. 5 Dec, and Fri. 6 Dec. The Iraqi Dinar was (allegedly) being paid at $3.49 in-country. On Tues. 3 Dec. MZ: It is finally the weekend! You guys know the drill, we spend the first 45-60  minutes talking with Matt and Lucus at CBD Gurus today. We dive into the news of the day afterwards

Member: I'm wondering how many of the people in here believe that this is our weekend?

Member: I WANT to believe it's this weekend!

Member: It certainly could be this weekend!

MZ: We sure hope it’s this weekend….things have sure gotten interesting

Member: I think it will happen the week of the 25th.

MZ: some would agree with you. It is our understanding that the St. Germaine trust is easiest to open at Christmas and Easter- so it could be. This has been talked about for at least 20 years. But I still hope its sooner.

Member: I have been told by a great contact the money would be given on Christmas Day because of St.Germains trust!!

MZ: I got some reports from contacts in Iraq that they now have a lot more money than they used to have……but they won’t say how or why….just that they have a lot more money than they had.

MZ: They had told me they had expected to exchange sometime around Victory Day on Dec 10th. But they will not tell me where their sudden wealth has come from. I think things have started at the upper levels in Iraq. I am pretty excited.

Member:  I believe Iraq has revalued in country and budget, etc passed. We're just waiting for our turn. it's coming...

MZ: I believe it has as well. Maybe that is why some of my best Iraqi contacts are not saying anything but they suddenly have dollars (dinars?) . I will be happier though when you and I also have dollars.

Member: Tomorrow the auctions for US dollars are supposed to stop-According to MilitiaMan and Frank26

MZ: “ Iraq within the map of change: Specialist-Upcoming  international decisions will be taken before the arrival of Trump”  They want to make sure everything is finished before Trump takes office. There is a massive push as they want to be allies and very strong.

Member: Al-Yasiri, “Trump is planning major changes in the Middle East region...the region's entering a new phase, Iraq will be at the forefront of these changes in terms of the security/ economic reality."

MZ: There are a lot of economic reforms they want to make before then as well. There is a mad dash in Iraq to be finished.

Member: most of the changes Iraq wants will take a rate change , correct?

Member: And yes it addresses the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar as well..

MZ: And there is the collapsing of Iranian influence in Iraq which should help them push forward.

MZ: “It includes factions from three countries including Iraq: Shite crescent collapse puts Iraq left with options”  they are talking about the fall of the Iranian presence with the fall of Syria and Assad. Iran is tucking tail and going home…many also leaving Iraq.

As he has also recently said that opening channels in foreign and Arab currencies achieves stability in the exchange rate and gradually eliminates the black market.

Which can only mean that since they have completed 100% of their financial obligations which was a requirement in order to move to this next phase it should not be surprising of the special meeting over the weekend involved powerful organizations.

Etc.

And of course 140 deputy ambassadors arriving in Basra. The presence of international bodies like the World Bank, as well as ambassadors, indicates the event’s importance. These organizations wouldn’t typically attend unless the event had substantial international implications, such as Iraq positioning itself as an attractive investment destination or announcing reforms that could impact global markets.

The mention of showcasing Iraq to investors could point to Iraq demonstrating progress in economic reforms, infrastructure development, and stability. This might include the following.

• Transparency measures to attract foreign direct investment.

• Policy changes to make Iraq a more competitive market.

Listen, If Iraq plans to release a new exchange rate for the Iraqi Dinar, this event could be the stage for such an announcement. A revaluation of the dinar would attract foreign investors who have been waiting for a more stable and globally recognized currency. Do you think we are finally at the doorstep? Because it definitely appears that way in many regards.

Basra is Iraq’s economic capital, especially as it relates to oil exports. I do not know of any other time that would be more appropriate than what is to happen over the weekend. The timing right now is just to significant.

Welcome everybody to the big call tonight.  It is Thursday, December 12TH  and you're listening to the big call.  I'm glad we're having people that are listening from all over the globe. We thank you SAT  team for getting the signal out to so many countries in their own language. Thank you for everything that you've done for us on the call.

Let's do this. Let's talk about where we are, which we always do.

We did hear that the Iraqi Dinar is trading and is in a trading range 4.00 to 4.20 in Iraq as an in country rate now - as of three days now, it's been between 4.00 and 420 and that's really good.

Now our rates at the redemption Center are totally different and much higher.  You got to realize that, okay, much higher, yes, you will be our contract rate on the dinar in the redemption center only

Now realize this, if you want to try to figure out what that is. Try to find out what the per barrel price of oil is that Iraq is selling their oil for. All right?

They're selling it to Turkey, to Egypt, to China, to other countries, I don't even know how many, but they're selling this oil at a per barrel price, you find out what that is the day that you exchange, the day that you go in for your zim redemption and your currency exchanges, that is the rate you will get. And it is a quote, unquote contract rate. We don't sign a contract for it, but it's a contract rate nonetheless. So a little something about that.

Now, what we have heard most recently, I want to say this afternoon, because things have changed. Even today, my Intel has changed, but what we're hearing is that  we are going to have an amazing weekend, according to the people we're talking to now, it's Thursday night, Friday. We had heard we were going to be notified Friday and start Saturday.

The most recent information is that all the releases would be on Saturday, and I'm thinking that to also mean releases of emails to the bondholders, and email releases for us that would have the toll free number on it.

Okay, so I'm looking at our day to get notified, not as much tomorrow, as much as it would be on Saturday. And then we would, once we do that, we set our appointments, and we would go sometime thereafter, and believe me, the redemption centers will be open Sunday if we start with the exchanges on Saturday.

So the main thing is, half of this battle is getting the numbers, setting our appointments and then It's a done deal – we’re able to move forward with our exchanges as soon as we can

It's a, you know, it's a  short way of saying this information that we received today , that's what we're hearing. We're hearing we're going to have a super fantastic weekend. We're hearing tomorrow that banks are ready. Well, redemption centers are going to be ready too.

And just to go further on, redemption centers, the rates at the redemption centers were on the screens, and then they have come off the screens for what's been called Digital sequencing. Digital sequencing, and you can look that up and look into the definition of how it might  apply to the currencies.

I think the main thing I got out of kind of learn about digital sequencing is when it comes to cross border - Cross border transactions, financial transactions, bank wires, purchasing of goods, all of that stuff they're using in combination the FinTech system with the quantum financial system, in conjunction with the Starlink system, those three points of our triangle are bringing everything together, and this digital sequencing is allowing transactions to go much faster between countries, between your bank accounts, as you're moving funds, all of that.

So that's what they're doing. And I'm sure the rates will come right back up, either tonight or tomorrow, and that'll be what we want to see.

Now, you know, there is, there is no sense to set up an appointment and not use the redemption center of course, that's what they're there for. If people don't believe they exist, it's on them.

Believe me they exist. We talk to the people we have, 1-2-3-4-5-6, contacts that are leaders of the redemption centers, the actual leaders, and these are the ones they call operatives, but these are the ones that will be over the staff that is going to be doing the exchanges with us, and some of the leaders are further along, and they're going to be helping with bonds.

If you have sheet bonds and  you've got two boxes or less, you have to let them know when you call to set your appointment that you have some sheet bonds. Tell them the type of bond, and so on, and they should be able to handle those bonds for you during your appointment, but you've got to call them, because it's going to take an additional amount of time to handle your bonds compared to just currency, which is more of a the DelaRue machine function of county and verification does both accounts and verifies the currencies.

But if you have those sheet bonds, you can you need less than two boxes if you want them to handle them  at the redemption center. And don't ask me, How many bonds fit in a box? I don't know.

And I don't want to say because I've heard a number. I'm not sure if that's right or not. So the main thing is, if you have some bonds, what I would consider loose bonds, sheet bonds. We're not talking about the zim, but there are zim sheet bonds too. There are long sheets, I'm going to say eight and a half by 11, or whatever the size of the pages that are sheet bonds and zoom.

So you have those. Those count too. You can bring those to it. So let them know when you send your appointment. Remember, when you use the call center and you call in, you'll be transferred, more than likely to the redemption center that will handle your transactions. Okay, that's the idea of it.

Now, if they don't give you a direct transfer, they're to give you an 800 number to call, to go to that that goes to that redemption center that's keyed in by your zip code. They have them all over the country, as you can imagine, and you just need to let them know the zip code that either where you live, where you work, or where you want to exchange.

Let's say you're out of town and you're not at home and you're on the road, but you know there are redemption centers in Georgia, for example, you might want to know the zip code of that area where you are, and they'll be able to find a redemption or close to that area. All right, now, if you're in the wild, wild west, and you're out in South Dakota or out in Wyoming or whatever.

Yeah, the redemption centers are gonna be a little further apart even even Nevada. But, you know the main cities in Nevada, and so, you know, you guys that are in Tonopah  ? ?  ?, some of those areas might have to go to Reno or, you know, whatever. But that's okay.

So that's really pretty much what I wanted to say about about that. What else is there? Guys? I think you guys, if you've listened to big call for a while, you know the drill and what's going on, and there's not a whole lot new that I can add -  really

I think that's what I wanted to say. We'll have to see if we get numbers and so on. We probably won't on Tuesday, since we expect to get notified Saturday and be in our exchanges sometime thereafter. So we're just we're just thankful that big call universe is being reached by the satellite team, our SAT team.

MZ: I have seen that. A number of states are setting up for a legal tender of gold and silver. What are they preparing for? Right?

MZ: in Iraq: “Central Bank governor opening foreign channels to foreign currencies eliminates the black market” they are talking about partnering with neighboring countries and carry more of a “basket of currencies” so they do not need the US dollar for trade. Including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and different countries around them .

MZ: They want to split the value of the Iraqi dinar based on gold, oil, reserves and a basket of partnering currencies. This should mean a much higher value for the Iraqi dinar. They are making “real world moves”  to support the value of their currency.

MZ: “Minister of commerce: We have a strategic storage and the food basket is fully secured” they have over 6 months of the minimum Iraq needs of food. Even the us does not have that much

MZ: “Why will Iraq become one of Trump’s priorities in the coming period?” Trump wants to work with Iraq to support stability and security. What do you guys think the reason is Trump wants Iraq safe and secure???  Lol Could it a revaluation?

Member: What! An exciting time. Iraq is all done let’s put it on FOREX

MZ: On the bond side I have noticed a serious increase in the number of deals that flippers are making. And offers that flippers are making with immediate closures on those deals. They are telling bond people “What if those goes on longer- you should sell to us right now”

MZ: Why are historic bond flippers willing to spend a lot more money right away- then they were before? Do they sense how close we are? Do they know something on this front? This kinda surprised me

MZ: Flippers are suddenly willing to spend billions of dollars to pick up boxes of historic bonds ect….IMO they would not be spending this money unless they felt they would get it back quickly with a profit…They have to know it is coming.

Member: so like flipping a house. You buy it a bit cheaper ..then resell it at a profit .  got it….that is very interesting

Member: I have heard $4.20 in country in Iraq right now
