Clare:  Parliamentary Oil: Amending a paragraph in the budget enhances oil exports and understanding with Kurdistan

The Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee confirmed, today, Wednesday, that amending the paragraph on paying the costs of extracting the Kurdistan Region’s oil and handing it over to “SOMO” opens the way for expanding exports and improving coordination between the region and the center.

Member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Kazem Al-Tawki, told Al-Furat News Agency that “Iraq is committed to the OPEC system in determining the quantities of oil production, noting that production sometimes falls below the specified ceiling.” 

He added: "The recent agreement with the Kurdistan Region included amending a paragraph in the budget related to paying the financial costs of extracting oil and delivering it to SOMO, which opens the way for expanding exports or directing the region's oil to refineries."

He stressed the importance of this understanding between the region, the center and the Ministry of Oil to achieve better coordination in the management of oil resources.

Clare:  The Iraqi government signs two memoranda of understanding with Arab tourism, consisting of 7 points

In Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani sponsored the signing of two memoranda of understanding with the Arab Tourism Organization. His media office said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that al-Sudani received today the head of the Arab Tourism Organization affiliated with the League of Arab States, Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fahid, and his accompanying delegation.

The statement added that during the meeting, they discussed areas of joint work to develop the tourism reality in Iraq, in light of the government's plan to develop the tourism reality.

Al-Sudani stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation with the Arab Tourism Organization to support attracting Arab tourism to Iraq, which is rich in religious, archaeological and natural tourism assets.

According to the statement, Al-Sudani sponsored the signing ceremony of two memoranda of understanding for the Arab Tourism Organization; the first with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, and the second with the International Development Bank for Investment and Finance, which include expanding and developing tourism cooperation in the following areas:

1- Benefit from the agreement signed between the Arab Tourism Organization and the Islamic Development Bank Group, related to the insurance policy to guarantee investment, with the aim of attracting capital to invest in tourism projects in Iraq.

2- Benefit from the programs of the Arab Tourism Organization and its agreements with international companies in the field of technical consultations and studies.

3- Qualifying Iraqi tourist facilities, including hotels, restaurants and cafes, to obtain the quality and ISO mark.

4- Benefiting from the organization’s programs in training and qualifying workers in the tourism sector at the public and private sectors levels to raise the capabilities of its workers.

5- Studying the possibility of opening a regional office for the Arab Tourism Organization in Baghdad to represent the Arab Mashreq region.

6- Benefiting from the Arab Tourist Card project, which will be launched in Baghdad through the organization’s strategic partner; the International Development Bank and Visa International.

7- Implementing rehabilitation programs for Iraqi youth in the field of quality control of tourism and hotel facilities.

Welcome everybody to the big call tonight. It is Tuesday, November 26th and you're listening to the big call. Thanks everybody for tuning in again, wherever you're located around the globe. And for those in the United States, we celebrate our Thanksgiving in two days on the 28th and that is in the States. Now in Canada, you celebrate it in October. And I cannot remember the actual date, in October for our neighbors to the north, they already had their Thanksgiving. But they might. They might just have a turkey sandwich on our Thanksgiving. I hope so. I hope you can. All right, so let's do this. Let's go ahead and pray to call in,

Now, let's go into where we are in terms of our information, in terms of our timing, and in terms of everything that I wanted to bring to you tonight, so Bob did a wonderful job of explaining all that and giving us some ideas.

I would say this, we had been told for a while that their intention has been for us to have this on or by no before or by Thanksgiving, before or by Thanksgiving, which is the 28th today is the 26th  so I have what I believe will be a good intel report to give you guys tonight.

Let’s start first of all with something that you might have seen in the news. There was a cease fire  agreement between Israel and Lebanon that will take effect tomorrow morning, local time Israel Lebanon on local time at 10am the morning, tomorrow morning,

There's still fighting going on now, and if, if I'm right, it may continue all the way through the night with shelling and bombing and all of that that's happening between those two. It'll probably take place all the way up until 9:59am tomorrow.

Now I hate to say but that's my gut on it. It may or may not be right, but starting at 10am the cease fire is in effect for 60 days. And President Trump will be back in the saddle, by then, before then, and I think he will convert that into a peace accord in the Middle East very soon, very quickly. He's already doing things now, ahead of his inauguration, to get the country in the best shape we can be in.

Now, I think that that happening tomorrow, Wednesday, 10 am  in the Middle Eastern Time, let's call it. I think that could be significant for us. I think that's saying this is when GESARA can quite possibly kick in for the rest of the world. We'll see. Obviously, that's just a sign that we are that close to having that come into play. – GESARA -  G, E, S, A R, A  - We in this country have NESARA -  N, E, S, A R,A -  national, okay, National Economic, Strategic and Recovery Act.

So I believe we, when we get this, the RV, the emails, our toll free numbers, we should be getting something about the United States new currency, the USN, the physical money, as USTN, United States Treasury notes, no longer Federal Reserve notes, the Fed is dead, so the remnant of it is absorbed into the new US Treasury as the IRS. That's going to be a different deal.

NESARA changes everything for us, and it will be visible when we are able to come out of our exchanges, and we'll see some of the effects of that.

Now -  Here's the information that we had. I told you that several sources told us that we should have this by or before Thanksgiving that President Trump wanted us to have Christmas at Thanksgiving. Okay, so here's where I think we're going.

Some of our sources said that the Iraqi Dinar , as well as some of the other these. I'm sure all the other currencies are to be placed on the Forex tomorrow. Now we've had the fact that they've traded. We have not seen them on our Forex screens, but the theory is that once the dinar is on the Forex tomorrow, we're off to the races. Was how it was. We’re off to the races. We're good to go. We'll get our emails with the toll free number in it, we'll be able to set appointments and quite possibly start tomorrow.

Now I know this is what we're looking for. Now another part of information, another piece we got, relating to those currencies is that we got information. This came from the US Space Force, that Vietnamese Dong was on an exchange, and this was in the Vietnamese language, and then translated to English. And our people said that it was just dollars and it would be between six and eight tomorrow. That's another good sign that the RV is there.

Now, when we're saying that, we're talking about bank rates, not redemption center rates, our rate should be better at the redemption center on every on dinar and Dong and I know they're gonna be a lot better on dinar, especially because we know there's a contract rate on Dinar  that will be offered to us that is extremely high.. Okay, not at the bank but at the redemption centers. Just so you know.

Now, the other piece is another source told Us just this evening, like an hour before the big call that their intention is for this to go tomorrow, like I said, the other one said about Wednesday, so that we would have money for Thanksgiving and for Black Friday. So Thursday and Friday, so we would have it

Now, let's say this happens - we get our notifications tomorrow. We call to set our appointments. We start some of us, we start tomorrow, Wednesday. What about Thursday? Thanksgiving Day information we're getting from the redemption centers is that most, but possibly not all, will be open Thanksgiving Day  for five hours.

So that's just enough to get so many people in on that day for a short period of time of five hours. Now, obviously, if you don't want to schedule it for Friday, for Thursday, and you can schedule for tomorrow, do it. Schedule it for Friday, do it, etc. But if this does start tomorrow, they are anticipating us going in for us for up to five hours to do our exchanges on Thursday  -Thanksgiving Day.

Now let's say that you had that option versus not going in, and you chose to go in, you certainly could move your Thanksgiving  dinner and eat it around your exchange, quite possibly. And it could be that the exchange appointments are are in the afternoon, evening. You might miss a football game, you might miss a nap, but it could be an option for you to go then.

Okay, so keep that in mind, if we do get started tomorrow, obviously you're going to call and try to set your appointment to fit your schedule. Okay? And I think that's exciting,

From an Intel point of view. I believe that's what we want to hear. That this is going, that it's going before Thanksgiving, which is tomorrow is the only day before Thanksgiving we would get our exchanges started as early as tomorrow. Don't know what time we're just going to have to kind of keep an eye on it. Watch your emails as they come in, see if you get one from the Wells Fargo, and see if it's it's what we think it is, which will include the toll free number.

Now we will put the toll free number up on our website, big call universe.com, and we'll also send out an email to the people that wanted the toll free number. We'll send it as a group email to anybody who has already registered their email for that purpose  on our website. It's all you have to do.

Put your email in and you're on the list. If you've already done it, even 2 – 3 - 4, years ago, it's still there. We have it. You don't have to do it again. If your email has changed, yeah, you'd want to re enter it. You want to put it in, put the new email in, okay, because there could be some people that even Wells Fargo doesn't even, or they don't. They don't have they know.

They know who most they know who most of them holders are. They know most of the currency holders are because they were able to get that information from all the dealers, currency dealers. It was part of what the US Treasury wanted to do. So I think the best thing we can do is just keep an eye on emails.

So that is the intel that we had for today. A lot of our contacts are under NDAs. It's been tough even to get the intel that we got that I gave you tonight. Now it hasn't been easy, but I like it makes sense, if they do want to have this buyer before Thanksgiving, tomorrow-  tomorrow's our day.

So let's keep the faith for it. Let's believe for it. Let's continue to pray that to occur before I fall asleep tonight, We will not have a call Thursday night due to Thanksgiving, and hopefully we do receive these emails appointments and can start as early as tomorrow.

MZ: We do have some key people that are no longer in place until Friday. A number of folks on the bond side from the US that had been in Zurich, Hong Kong or Asia are home for the holidays. They should fly back to their places on Friday so I am not expecting a plethora of news before Friday. If need be- a number of people in the Rena area are close and can get back quickly.

Member: Could you please explain the 800 #s for the new people?

Member: Redeeming banks/redemption centers will send a notification to the dinar sites and some gurus to publish …Call the 800 number posted…..give them your zip code and they set up an exchange appointment for you in your area……Thats what I was told.

Member: Do you have a guesstimate of rates for us newbies?

MZ:  On the dong we have seen anything from .39 cents to $3.90 recently….i am hearing now that it could be closer to the $3.50-$3.90 range. I am hearing  low $4’s on the dinar but they have seen $6-$8…and some of my sources think the law rate is off. Indonesia we are still hearing $1.47.I do not have any idea what the Pengo or bolivar will be. Still hearing on the Zim between $30 million to $50 million per 100T note

MZ: “ The upcoming session will witness a vote on all controversial laws” one f the most controversial laws is the HCL and the profit sharing agreement . It is a key peace for a revaluation.  

MZ: “ For the first time since 2003. Non-Oil revenues achieve significant growth in 2024” This gives Iraq stability and helps allow them to raise the value of their currency.

MZ: There are a lot of people staying home this Thanksgiving. One rumor I did hear on fines and penalties…that there was a good chance they could go this weekend because of the number of people that will be home and in place. It makes sense.

PompeyPeter  A lot of people "called it".  A lot of people got egg on their faces.  Everybody get's it wrong from time to time and everybody has to take their turn.  There are gurus out there with egos the size of a planet...who just can't hold their hands out and say, 'Oops, I got it wrong'...There was a slim chance, a slim chance, it could have gone but that chance depended on B320 which has to do with the bond auction... PompeyPeter  These are not the normal auctions these are the bond investment auctions which they were given 14 days to get onboard with...They would conclude the 26th...The purpose of those bonds was largely to give back IMO to the people...to invest, get their chunky dinars out, get some more of them off the streets and they could invest in their country.  What it would mean is they get a nice interest rate when they matured in a very short time and it also meant they get the big lovely bonus of extra purchasing power when the RV occurred.  They are due to complete [today 11/26/2024]   [Post 2 of 2]

MZ: In Iraq- “After the census: Does the Kurdistan region have the right to demand an increase in the share of the Iraqi budget: Analysts answer”   This is part of the HCL agreements  

Member: The HCL IS all the talk right now.

MZ: “Parliamentary finance calls on the government to expedite  sending budget tables” Its all about HCL.

MZ:  Bank Story: (Reading from a member) So I have a connection within a bank and he did a little searching around and said “So that revalue? I’ve been checking some stuff at work…and yeah…many US banks are prepping for the RV in the next 90 days . Chase, Wells , Amex are all preparing things apparently”

MZ: This does not mean it could not happen sooner…..just sometime in the next 90 days.

MZ: I did have one bond contact check in and he said he couldn’t give details but he expects to be fully paid within the next 4 days. He was very specific with “4 days” from this afternoon.

Member: Woohoo! That would be great for Thanksgiving weekend!!!!!

MZ: And I had some Iraqi contacts say it was supposed to go last night – but it didn’t. I heard that late last evening and this morning.

Member: I hope they try again tonight!!!!

Member: Nader said it should be an interesting couple of days!

MZ: And I am still hearing that because of trade agreements- The dong and dinar would roughly RV at about the same time

MZ: “Is the United States considering a Gold-Backed Treasury Instrument? “ A great article from Gold Telegraph.  They are thinking of selling long term US Government bonds attached to gold. We are seeing all the gold being purchased by Central Banks (Including Iraq) .

Member: Shabibi said the rv would be at the start of the year or start of the quarter so I still am counting on Jan 1

Member: Still hoping for sooner than that…..but it is close.

Clare:  Iraqi Parliament adjourns session after first discussion of amending triennial budget law

11/26/2024

The Iraqi parliament, headed by Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, adjourned its session held today, Tuesday, after a first discussion to amend the Triennial Budget Law and two other laws.

The Iraqi Council of Representatives held its 17th regular session for the third legislative year, the second legislative term, headed by the new Council Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, with the attendance of 168 representatives. 

According to the media department of the House of Representatives, the House voted to extend its legislative term for one month. 

The Council completed the first reading of the draft law amending the first law of the Federal General Budget Law of the Republic of Iraq for the fiscal years (2023 - 2024 - 2025) No. (13) of 2023.

He also completed the first reading of the draft law amending the fifth amendment to the Civil Aviation Law No. (148) of 1974.

He also completed the first reading of the draft law regulating the rights of the victims of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, the victims of Al-Naqa Center, and the victims of the Al-Hamdaniya incident.

During the session, (Hello Mustafa Kaka Reda) took the constitutional oath as Minister of Environment.LINK

Clare:  Parliamentary Committee: Parliament will vote on the Industrial Investment Law in its next session

Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Investment Committee, Hussein Al-Saabari, confirmed on Tuesday that the Industrial Investment Law will be voted on in the next session of Parliament, pointing out the importance of the law with regard to customs and tax exemptions as well as banks’ support for the industrial sector. 

Al-Saabari told Shafak News Agency, "The House of Representatives will vote in the next session on the Industrial Investment Law, which is considered one of the important laws in the field of investment, and the law is considered the beginning of the industrial movement in Iraq." 

He pointed out that "this law is considered an important shift in industrial investment, as it contains many articles, including customs and tax exemptions, as well as bank support for the industrial sector and other articles that serve industrialists."

Al-Saabari explained that "there is an article in the law that includes the ownership of land by industrial investors outside the municipality's borders and the basic design."  LINK

Clare:  Oil Committee meets to discuss budget amendment text regarding Kurdistan oil

The Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee held a meeting today, Tuesday, to discuss the text of the budget amendment regarding the Kurdistan Region's oil.

The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said, "The Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee held a meeting today to discuss the text of the budget amendment regarding the Kurdistan Region's oil," indicating that "the dates and schedule for hosting the Ministry of Oil officials for the coming week were discussed."
He added that "the reports of the temporary subcommittees formed were discussed," noting that "the date of the periodic meeting at the Ministry of Oil was set to review the achievements of the oil sector and the government program."  LINK

Militia Man  All of those things over the last 21 years that they've been working on are now coming to a final end because they're getting to that stage where Iraq is ready to hit the ground running.  They have the saturation.  They have the education for the citizens...well over $110 billion in reserves...153 tons of gold...Their coverage is completely well done for their currency that they have outstanding.  That's a really good sign.

Frank26  I bought my first dinars back in 2004 when they were commissioned by the IMF to print new currency.   I jumped on it right away.  A million back then was between $500 and $600.  Do you realize I have doubled my money if I was to go in and cash my dinars in right now.  I'd walk out with a profit.  But I don't.  That's not my end goal.  I'm looking for the Real Effective Exchange Rate.  That will only occur in float.  It will only float once they release the new currency with a new rate.  IMO that's what we're witnessing right now.

Member: What’s the good word today Mark?

MZ: I am waiting for that bond update this late afternoon into the evening….. What is expected is an update on what bond holders should expect on timing and the release.

MZ: There are some golden articles out of Iraq overnight. “ Finance Committee reveals the outline of amending the budget law”  They are almost done.

MZ: “The Oil Committee meets to discuss the text of the budget amendment regarding Kurdistan oil.” The Kurdish region will start exporting  about 450,000 barrels of oil per month and a extra billion dollars from the Kurdish region for government revenues alone. These are huge numbers and would not be happening if HCL was not at least agreed too. I think they are still hiding that.

Member: Ariel posted the HCL is done

MZ: It’s not been officially announced but there are some solid clues that it could be done.

Member: Iraq is probably done it’s probably the USA that’s holding up the progress.. isn’t that typical

Member: Mark, when do we expect to hear anything "official" out of Iraq? the Wednesday Gazette?

Member: Article: “Iraq announces population census results at over 45 million amid slight increase in males” Quote: “Al-Sudani

MZ: “Iraq exports more than 100 million barrels of oil last October” that was last month. Its obvious we are just waiting on the official HCL announcement .

MZ: And they have placed a mechanism into the budget law for a rate change ……Why would they do that if they did not expect a rate change? There is an amendment specifically for the change in the value of their currency. This is for all of those who says this will never happen.

Member: Mark have you seen the article that Alak said the mechanism will be activated in 10 days and the ri is 95% done and only 5% left to complete

Member: I think with Sudani stating he wants this done by Dec 10th he will come through for he knows-if he doesn’t….. they will take to the streets soon

MZ: There is so much pointing to it all going before Dec 10th.

MZ: “Dollar War- The Eastern camp imposes a new economic reality against Washington’s weapons”  This is a breakdown on BRICS and how they are changing the financial reality. There are options besides the dollar.  It was always the plan that if the western word would not go along with changes in the financial system …BRICS would force the change. We are getting close.  

Member: Markets, freaking out because why? Money! So programmed! That’s why we need the RV!! Chaos stops immediately, people are no longer stressed beyond measure! Get it done Treasury and all involved

Member: can anybody clarify what is meant by needing an NDA for the bonds?

Member: NDA means non-disclosure agreement. Bondholders can't tell rates they get, etc.

Member: are you hearing anything about the Redemption Center Workers?

MZ: They had a busy weekend last weekend. They claim they were getting things squared away and ready . I expect an update tomorrow.

Member: What are they saying the dinar will be worth now?

MZ: They are not.  But most people believe it will be in the high $3.s or low $4’s.

Member: Do you think the Dong will still be half the dinar?

MZ: On the dong we once again had new values show up again. Surprising rates on screens like $3.9003333-I think it was. This was on late Sunday. Was it a glitch or hiccup or testing?  We don’t know. But it is curious. If dong goes that high- WOW

Member: I would sure take that dong rate right now

MZ: We saw an Indonesian rate pop up a few weeks ago at $1.47. This is the rate I have been hearing for over 5 years.

​​Member: IMO, IQD will be $3.81-$4.24, VND $1.65-$2.26 IMO!

Nov 24th Post 2024 (End of Fractional Banking)

If the GCR was to happen now or in the near future, it can be assumed that, in some fashion, we would have to utilize the current banking system. So I looked at how much banks make and how they make it. Looking at Wells Fargo, Bank of America (BofA) and J.P. Morgan Chase.

In 2023 Chase had $134.4 Billion in revenue with a net of $48.3 Billion. Wells Fargo had $89.4 B in revenue with a net of $19.1 B. B of A had $96.5 B in revenue with a $26.5 B net. In 2019(prior to the pandemic) Chase had $36.4 B net, BofA $27.4 B net and Wells Fargo $19.6 B net.

Banks primarily generate money through several activities:Interest Income: Banks lend out customer deposits in the form of loans, charging interest. They earn by maintaining a gap between the interest paid on deposits and the interest charged on loans.Fees: Banks charge fees for services like account maintenance, overdrafts, wire transfers, and credit card usage. Investments: They invest in financial instruments such as bonds, equities, or real estate. Trading & Advisory: Larger banks earn from trading securities and offering financial advisory services.

What I didn’t know was in March 2020, the Federal Reserve eliminated reserve requirements for banks. (Don’t know how this conflicts with Basel 3.5) This effectively ended the traditional practice of maintaining a minimum reserve percentage or Fractional Reserve Banking. With Fractional Reserve Banking , banks were required to reserve a portion of deposits for every dollar they loaned .With a $100 deposit the bank could loan out $90. Now, with no reserve amount required, the banks can loan out all of its deposits. Keep in mind when I say “deposit”, that’s your money they are loaning out.

From March 2022 to July 2023, the Fed increased rates 11 times, raising the federal funds rate from near zero to 5.25–5.50%—the fastest pace of hikes in decades. The question is, how come the banks’ net profit increased substantially during and after the pandemic? Theoretically raising interest rates curbs inflation.

But the banks made more money with the higher rates? It’s called Increased Net Interest Margin (NIM). Banks earn money by lending funds at higher interest rates than they pay on deposits (your money).When the Fed raises rates, the interest banks charge on loans (like mortgages, credit cards, and business loans) typically increases faster than the interest they pay on customer deposits. This widens the NIM, directly boosting profitability. The banks are making a fortune on the suffering of the rest of us. And the Fed is complicit.

All that being said, if the GCR was to happen now, the massive funds deposited into the banks would follow this scenario. The banks would basically have unlimited discretion what they can do with your money. It all points to the need for a new, completely different, financial system for the GCR to engage. Until we see that, we won’t see a GCR.

We all want to go skating but you can’t go ice-skating when the lake isn’t frozen.

Mnt Goat   ...we are still seeing lots of news from Iraq on educating the citizens in many areas. One biggie is the census... This level of census has NEVER been conducted since the 2003 invasion. Lots has changed since. This census is also part of the Article 140 and the process of determining the shares of the excess oil revenue streams to be divided up to the citizens as part of the Hydrogen Carbon Law (HCL) this is also better know as the Oil and Gas Law.  Yes, the GOI does plan to administer oil profit shares to the citizens much like they do in the Saudi and Kuwait.   [Post 1 of 2]

Mnt Goat  However...you can see that they first must rebuild their economy and infrastructure. Today there is not much remaining of oil revenues after they pay all their bills. The surplus will come once they diversify their economy and these other sources of revenue come pouring in, as we are seeing now to begin...I would not gamble on this HCL triggering the RV, as many...seem to think will happen when they finally pass the Oil and Gas Law.   [Post 2 of 2]

MZ: I have a number of bond contacts that reached out today to let me know that they are expecting  timing and procedures updates tomorrow to let them know how they are handling the first 1%...times are ranging from mid- afternoon to evening tomorrow. So I should have an update tomorrow night what bond folks are hearing and expecting.

MZ: “Al Mashandi directs the lifting of the stalled laws to the Presidency of the House of representatives”   Those laws are coming off “stuck” . One of those stalled laws is the HCL.

MZ: “In preparation for the resumption of exports, Parliament will raise the cost of purchasing oil in the 2025 budget” Now the Kurdish region can actually make money on the production of oil. This is one of the biggest sticking points between Baghdad and Erbil for the HCL.

MZ: “Relationship on the closing of the platform . There is no sudden transition but rather a gradual transition that will be completed within two weeks” Here are your banking changes. Alak announced today that their banking system is at its best. The process began in 2024 and there is 5% left to be completed within the next 2 weeks. Before Victory Day on Dec 10th I hope and pray it is done by then.

MZ: There are a whole lot of folks that say all these things coming together means a rate change. I believe them to be accurate.

MZ: If we are still sitting here after Dec 10th I am really gonna start to wonder.

MZ: “Officially Elena Romanowski’s assignment in Iraq ends”  I would like to point out that a number of revaluations in the middle east while she was with the state department or an Ambassador…she was famous for that …maybe Iraq will be her “swan song” on her way out of the door.

MZ:  We do not yet know who Trump will be putting in as the Ambassador to Iraq…..but you can bet it’s someone who is pro revaluation.

Ray was very excited. Tony said that Ray was trying to reveal the good things.

Tony said that he had a special weekend of ups and downs.

Two updates during the weekend of ups and downs.

The trailer was supposed to be presented during the weekend, but it was not.

All three charter agencies reported that the celebration planned for Saturday has been rescheduled for TODAY IN ZURICH.

They said that the trailer is complete and we will see it today.

Some banks received memos today that the RV is happening and we could see that at any time today.

The VND Exchange rate is currently 0.39 US dollars

We will make a lot of changes after the RV on our end, as it becomes a new world for us.

All the three letter agencies said the RV WILL HAPPEN TODAY.

Ray is very excited. When asked between 1 and 10.. with 10 being the highest… Ray said he is at 12 !

Tony was asked the same question and Tony said, 9.

Some people will have accounts in multiple currencies. Tony said he would not accept any.

They said it is already done and released. The process is already underway.

The banks and the Federal Reserve are waiting for the email right now.

Tony said he’s also been waiting for the email from the banks.

Economist on television is explaining about how a revaluation works.  They're giving us examples of other countries and after that how the currency is linked or pegged to a basket of other currencies.  Wow...It's being told to us constantly now every day.  The planning of the revaluation they say is done and now apparently this currency is going to be linked or pegged to a basket of other currencies.  FRANK:  If they tell you it's going to be pegged to a basket of other currencies,...it means we have a new exchange rate because that's the only reason the other currencies in the basket will play along with it...They also want to fluctuate (bounce up and down) with the value of your currency that is about to go insane!

MZ: On the group side and the bank side- there is a lot of chatter about tomorrow morning. Some of the group contacts do have me excited though. Not saying it’s going to happen…but there is a possibility of it tomorrow so we have a great Thanksgiving. Pray that hopefully this is it.

MZ: “Relative stability in the price of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar . What are the repercussions?”  The repercussion are its better for the citizens and inflation doesn’t heat things up and it trades easier.

MZ: Shabibi kept saying give me safe and stable and I’ll give you a revaluation. Iraq is becoming the most stable country in the middle east.

MZ: “Iraq’s 2023 budget . Will the amendments get the budget back on track?” Remember the budget is for 2023, 2024, 2025…..They are talking budgets, tables, oil ect. this week. Several controversial laws are hitting parliament tomorrow.

MZ: “ Iraq announces the results of its population census: More than 45 million” What does that mean? Many people are returning to Iraq that had left during the war. These results allow them to properly divide and move funds.

MZ: The census being completes was another thing I was told they needed for the HCL…before they  pull the trigger.

MZ: “ Parliamentary finance reveals budget paragraphs covered by the amendment”  this includes all the stuff for voting on tomorrow. Its getting exciting in Iraq and we may just see RV this week. I am feeling very upbeat.

Member: Sudani did say before Dec 10th…..well this week is before Dec 10th.

Member: I do not have my hopes up for reset until we see the market crash and gold backed currency…maybe after Jan 20th?

Clare:  In detail.. The Iraqi budget is subject to political and economic amendments on Tuesday

The Finance Committee of the Iraqi Council of Representatives revealed, on Sunday, the details of amending the budget law included on the agenda of next Tuesday's session.

The agenda of the House of Representatives for Tuesday included the first reading of the draft law amending the first law of the Federal Budget Law of the Republic of Iraq for the fiscal years (2023, 2024, 2025) No. (13) of 2023.

Regarding these amendments, the committee member, MP Jamal Kocher, told Shafak News Agency, "The amendment to the budget law includes one paragraph, which is the cost of producing oil in the Kurdistan Region. The previous amount was very small, and after studying and discussing between the federal government and the regional government, they reached the conclusion that the estimate should be immediate to address and solve the problem, and it should be (16) dollars per barrel, until the final answer is obtained from the advisory committee specialized in determining production costs in coordination with the regional government and production companies operating in the fields."

Kocher added, "This amendment aims to solve the problem and re-export the Kurdistan Region's oil to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. There is a political agreement on this, and the political agreement stressed the necessity of solving this problem. Without the political agreement, this amendment would not have been presented in the House of Representatives, and it will be passed according to this agreement without any obstacles within the parliament regarding this increase."

For his part, member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Moeen Al-Kadhimi, explained that the paragraph amending the general budget law will be limited to Articles 12 and 13 related to the Kurdistan Region’s oil exports and revenues.

Al-Kadhimi explained that "Article 12, which will be amended in the budget law, relates to the costs of producing and transporting oil in the region, as the costs of producing oil differ in Basra and are calculated at $6 per barrel, while in the Kurdistan Region they are calculated at $20."  

He pointed out that "Article 13 of the budget law, which will witness amendment, relates to the region's oil exports and its export via the Turkish port of Ceyhan."

Al-Kadhimi pointed out the importance and emphasis on amending the budget law and voting on it before the end of the current legislative session, especially since the extended session will end on December 9.   LINK

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed on Sunday that artificial intelligence and digital transformation are the focus of administrative and economic reforms in the country, while the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization praised these efforts. 

His media office said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that Al-Sudani received today the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Dima Al-Yahya, where the meeting witnessed discussions on Iraq's progress in the field of digital transformation, within a comprehensive strategy for digital business and artificial intelligence, in line with the government's ambitions and the growing international requirements in this field.

During the meeting, Al-Sudani stressed that the government has laid the foundations for digital transformation, and has worked on this file in more than one path and included it in administrative and economic reforms and what is related to electronic payment, explaining Iraq's ability to develop this sector and achieve a qualitative shift in it, in addition to openness to cooperate with the organization in finding projects that serve Iraq and the region, within the framework of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

For her part, Dima Al-Yahya praised Iraq’s development in the digital field and the ongoing qualitative shift, which creates a suitable environment for a number of projects that the organization intends to implement inside Iraq.

She stressed the organization's readiness to enter into projects that serve the government's plans for digital transformation, and that have real benefits for the human resources that Iraq possesses, and benefit from the available material resources, and the high desire and readiness.  LINK

Nader From The Mid East  I don't want you to get excited and think we're rich already because we're not yet.  Remember what I always say, in January things always happen in January with Iraq...It can happen before.  It can happen after too.  But me, I have a strong believe January we're going to see very good news.
