Bobby Cahill   They do hold some for sure. What Salih did was break it down btwn holdings and circulation. We had a discussion yesterday about a "reinstatement" of the IQD to the glory days. Here's the issue and exactly what Salih discussed....." he said the amount of Iraqi dinars in circulation has increased from 25 billion in 1980 to 27 trillion now, and this has "led to confusion in transactions for large commercial banks".

Bobby Cahill   Now that was in 2010 so just imagine all the salaries added and the devalues. There was also an article yesterday that mentioned "The exchange rate increased by 26%, the inflation rate increased by 7.6%, and the printing rate was 77%."

The US Commerce Department said today that the current account deficit, which measures the flow of goods, services and investment to and from the country, accelerated to 8.3 percent to $214.8 billion in the last quarter, the largest deficit since the third quarter of 2006.

The data for the second quarter was revised to show a deficit of 198.3 billion dollars instead of 190.3 billion dollars as previously reported.

Economists had forecast a deficit of $205 billion in the last quarter.
