Butterfly   SULAIMANI — Crude oil prices were up on Sunday (May 15) compared to the previous day.

The price of Brent crude was at $111.5, and the price of WTI crude was at $110.5.

butterfly   SULAIMANI — Iraq’s representative in OPEC said on Saturday (May 14) the international oil organization has agreed to the country increasing its oil output to 4.5 million barrels per day (bpd) starting this summer, Iraqi News Agency (INA) said.

Muhammad Saadoun, the Iraqi representative, said there will be an increase of 50,000 barrels a month during the period of July, August and September, bringing the country to the level of its reference production.

Saadoun also said oil prices are projected to stay above $100 a barrel until the third quarter of 2022.

OPEC +, an alliance of OPEC and non-OPEC members, decided on a gradual increase in oil production of 400,000 barrels per day for the month of March. The organization has repeatedly shown its approval for increasing oil production in Iraq.

The country exported 4.43 million bpd in April, toping its OPEC + quota for the month, according to the State Organization for Marketing Oil (SOMO)

butterfly   2022-05-15 02:46  Shafaq News/ The U.S. dollar (USD) exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar (IQD) registered a small notch in the daily transactions at the official markets of Baghdad and Erbil on Sunday.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the Central al-Kifah and al-Harithiya exchanges are trading the USD at a rate of 148,300 IQD to 100, 50 IQD above Saturday.

Our correspondent said that the selling and buying rates of 100 USD in the local markets of the Iraqi capital rested at 148,500 and 147,500 IQD, respectively.

In the capital of the Kurdistan Region, Erbil, the selling and buying rates settled at 148,450 and 148,250 IQD to 100 USD.

butterfly   2022-05-15 03:26  Shafaq News/ The U.S. crude imports from Iraq averaged 326 thousand barrels per day (bpd) last week, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said this weekend.

In its weekly report on U.S. oil imports, EIA said that the U.S. net oil imports averaged 5.643 million bpd last week, up by 135 thousand bpd from 5.308 million bpd a week before.

Canada remains the top boost of the U.S. oil imports with 3.284 million bpd, followed by Mexico and Ecuador with 693 and 351 bpd, respectively.

Imports from Saudi Arabia amounted to 306 thousand bpd.

Columbia and Brasil exported 276 and 143 thousand bpd to the US, respectively. US imports from Nigeria rested at 136 bpd; eight thousand barrels above Trinidad and Tobago, according to EIA.

Sheila   Raptor22 Some of my smaller notes are 2009. The 1M Notes purchased appear to be 2020. Thinking if you stay close to that span, then you should be good to go holding Bolivar.

$100 was at 148,400 Iraqi dinars.

100 British pounds was at 179,000 Iraqi dinars, and 100 euros was at 156,500 IQD.

I believe I would have been an early bird who got on this IQD bandwagon for I had even been an gent to sell these notes early in the piece - almost tow decades. However, I jumped off the selling craze when I soon realized it not not to an overnight "She'll be be COMING DOWN the THE MOUNTAIN when she come" thingy bit. Sure those two decased a\ahve come and gone and she's still up that Mountain from the day I joined this crazy ride.

UNEEK   @Dr Malcolm Roberts Hello and welcome to Zig's place - I would like to address your question and offer "my" thoughts - I feel that we all have a purpose here in this human form - I have questioned my purpose for many years and even today I still wonder what I am "supposed" to do till I am unable to do -- I will offer you what I have been relying on as an answer until I find a better one - I feel that we are here to accomplish 2 things -- to grow in wisdom and to expand our capacity to love - now in my humble opinion that is a pretty tall order -
