Butterfly   An agreement signed during the Iranian judiciary chief’s recent visit to Iraq entails setting up specialized courts with jurisdiction over economic and trade disputes involving the nationals of the two countries, an official said.

Speaking at a televised interview on Saturday, Head of the Iranian Judiciary’s High Council for Human Rights Ali Baqeri highlighted the results of the recent visit by Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raeisi to Iraq, Tasnim News Agency reported.

He said a memorandum of understanding signed during the trip stresses the need for programs to inform the nationals and business people of the two countries about the trade regulations to prevent legal cases from turning into judicial files.

Under the MoU, Iran and Iraq have agreed to form specialized courts in the capitals and in border provinces to work on the economic and trade issues, Baqeri noted, adding that the new decision would have positive impacts on the work of economic activists.

Following the top Iranian judge’s visit, Iraq made arrangements to reopen several border crossings for the shipment of Iranian commodities by land freight.

Iran and Iraq have set a target to increase the value of annual bilateral trade exchanges to $20 billion.

The meeting discussed, according to a statement by Al-Kadhimi’s office, "the ongoing electricity preparations for next summer and other topics on the agenda."

Al-Kadhimi stressed "the need to make maximum efforts to increase the production of electric energy, meet the requirements of citizens, and reduce cutting hours."

Moreover, the Iraqi PM directed the Ministry of Electricity to continue the maintenance procedures for production stations and transformers and overcome all obstacles that may hamper electrical energy requirements.

The answer is you're seeing the last final step right before your eyes. It's the '21 budget...I've already told you when their fiscal is. Their fiscal year starts April 1st.

I know that for a fact because I've reached out and consulted with the Iraqi government...that's where we're at. The '21 budget is the last step before the rate change...Iraq is very clearly walking in Kuwait's footsteps.

Sheila  @Zig I have no information to the contrary. There are many people in this speculation who have developed relationships which they call upon to provide rumtel to bring forth at large.

Sheila  @Zig Within Jeff's work experience, he appears to have developed one or more sources to support his analyses when he does his videos.

Sam I Am  "Iraq is very clearly walking in Kuwait's footsteps" what a crock. Kuwait was occupied by Saddam for a couple of months and then liberated. Their currency was replaced by the Iraqi dinar and then restored once liberated. There was no RV. Iraq has had a new currency for 17 years.

Sam I Am   And for the record, every year since I bought dinar back in 2010 gurus have said that the budget would bring the RV and it never does.

butterfly  I totally agree Sam I Am As I stated several days back, the same old same old stuff is a repeat of a repeat of a repeat. Apparently people have very short memories, or don't want to hear/know the truth.
