DELTA: The Central Bank of Iraq opens 4 accounts with the US Federal Bank for the purpose of starting to implement the Chinese agreement

The Department of Investments and Foreign Remittances at the Central Bank of Iraq announced the completion of the opening of four accounts with the American Federal Bank for the purpose of starting the implementation of the framework agreement with the Chinese Government Export and Credit Guarantee Agency.
The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed in a letter addressed to the Prime Minister’s Office, to inform it of depositing the amounts of oil shipments issued under the above agreement by the Sumo Oil Marketing Company in the accounts of the Central Bank of Iraq, which amounted to four hundred and eighteen million and ten thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven American countries and twenty-four cents for the month of October The first and the second of October.
The Central Bank of Iraq called on the Prime Minister’s Office to inform him of the start of implementing the agreement for the purpose of completing the contract with an investment company to monitor the accounts.

On Sunday, an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale struck the Ahram region of Bushehr Province, in southern Iran.
The seismological center of the Geophysical Institution at Tehran University said in a report that this tremor occurred today, Sunday.
He added that the tremor occurred at a depth of 10 km from the surface of the earth in the Ahram region, 55 km from Bushehr, the center of Bushehr Province, in southern Iran.
The center also recorded an earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale in the city of Iza, Khuzestan Province, southwestern Iran, 10 minutes before the earthquake that struck the Ahram region. LINK

Samson: Parliamentary Finance: Payment of the last two billion dollars of debt owed by Kuwait during 2020

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Sunday, that 2020 will see the payment of the last two billion dollars in debt owed by Kuwait to Iraq, indicating that it will be guaranteed in the budget for the current year.
Member of the Finance Committee Hanin Al-Qaddu said to "The Information" that "Iraq has many debts that may move to postpone the payment of some of them to the coming years or to reduce them by talking to the creditor countries."
He added that "among the debts incurred by Iraq are Kuwait's debts," noting that "the debts of Kuwait, of which two billion dollars remain, with Iraq owed , will be paid in full during 2020, and the Kuwaiti debt file involves."
He explained that "Kuwait's debts will include the 2020 budget to pay it after the budget is approved and completed completely," noting that "there are efforts to authorize the government to send the 2020 budget for the purpose of discussing it and then voting on it." LINK
