Monday UPDATE for February 17, 2020
Iraqi TV news broadcasting Allawi meeting with the blocs about the vote... stating there will be 203 ministers of the 329 that have agreed to vote. This represents approximately 90% of Parliament.
Allawi has been pushing to get his cabinet passed by making sure he has the votes secured before presenting it to Parliament. It now appears that the vote will be taken on Tuesday or possibly Thursday.

Today, Monday, al-Fateh Haneen Qaddo, a member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, announced that three ministers from Adel Abdel-Mahdi’s resigned government will continue within the upcoming “transitional” government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
Qaddo said, in a statement to "Al-Akhbariya": "Allawi is trying to keep some ministers of the resigned government in the new government, so that the new ministerial cabinet becomes a mixture of the new and previous governments," explaining that "among the ministers that Allawi may keep are the sovereign ministries, especially Interior, Defense and Finance. "
He added: "The prime minister-designate wants through this to send a positive message to the Sunni component of the Ministry of Defense, as well as the Finance Minister Fuad Hussein, to satisfy the Kurdish component, as well as the Democratic Party, which continues to pressure the prime minister-designate in relation to the Ministry of Finance," noting that " Allawi is trying to break free from the pressure exerted on him by some political parties, as some parties seek political gains in his government.
The deputy continued: Allawi is seeking to satisfy all the blocks and components for the sake of the success of his government, pointing out that "the Prime Minister-designate may depend on the criterion of integrity and freedom from political pressure in forming his government, and this comes through the use of some old ministers."
And the leader of the Al-Fateh coalition suggested that "the ministerial cabinet will be passed in Parliament, because Allawi will not come to parliament without obtaining the green light from the political blocs to agree to pass the ministerial cabinet." link

Raindancer777: Let us understand that the announcement of the new cabinet has already happened. If it is voted on this Thursday 2/20/2020 then it becomes official for all to see and understand Iraq is back in business.
MTA has made it clear that his high priority is getteng the Iraq citizens what they want and rightfully deserve.
That means one of the VERY TOP things on the new GOI bucket list will be to pass a new budget. In order to do that, they will have to have a new rate.
So, what if they hit the road Friday 2/21/2020 working with the CBI to get that new rate. Now what if Frank's thought about Saturday into Sunday or Sunday into Monday 2/22/2020 or 2/23/2020 The new RI goes live.
That would give the new GOI From 2/24/2020 to 2/29/2020 or a full 5 days to go over things and vote the budget in by the end of this month.
As I look at everything now as a whole the main difference between now and the past are 3 main points of difference.
(1). Now everyone wants this done and the powers of the world for the most part support it. Thus the Fab 4 and the UN presence.
(2). The environment is the BEST we have ever seen for this to happen.
(3). The CBI and new GOI understand due to all the pressure they are under, they must do this now to move forward and keep this project from collapsing which would create a unbelievable nightmare future. Anyway just my opinion and thought about things now.

The MSM/[DS] are prepared and ready to spin the truth, but this will fail.
Barr needed the correct optics and now we see why, the MSM/[DS] are pushing their list of "officials" who say Barr should resign, this is meaningless, this is for show, it is not a grass roots uprising of officials.
