Cutebwoy: A parliamentary majority intends to vote on the Allawi government … and the Kurds are required

Baghdad / Obelisk: Member of the Leadership Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Saadi Bireh, revealed on Wednesday, February 18, 2020, the details of the meeting of the Kurdish, Sunni and Shiite blocs that was held last night in Baghdad.
Bireh said in a press statement, that the Kurdish, Sunni and Shiite parties held a meeting last night in Baghdad, to deliberate on the issue of forming the next government led by Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
He explained that the meeting discussed the possibility of accepting Allawi’s next line-up, without consulting the parties, indicating that the Kurds accept Allawi’s government, in the event that he respects the previous agreements with the Shiite blocs.
Bireh affirmed that there has not been agreement yet with Allawi on forming the upcoming government, pointing out that the Kurds refuse to nominate names issued by mosques and Husayniyahs alike, while we have no problem nominating efficient and impartial technocratic ministers.
Bireh stressed that Allawi must determine the share of the Kurds from his next government, and then we nominate the personalities, indicating that it has not been clarified until now that the Kurds can vote on the Allawi government or not.
For his part, head of the Bayraq Al-Khair bloc, Muhammad Al-Khaldi, confirmed on Wednesday 18 February 2020 that the majority is now guaranteed to pass the cabinet of Prime Minister Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi in parliament.
Al-Khalidi said in a press statement, that the date that was scheduled yesterday to pass the government booth was postponed to today and then to tomorrow, to be kicked until Sunday.
Al-Khaldi said that there is a great agreement regarding passing the cab without obstacles, as the majority is completely guaranteed after the Prime Minister-designate rejected all the pressure exerted on him, especially since he took into account the representation of the components, not the political parties or blocs.

Frank26 ...we as a team feel that the cabinet is what is about to be presented to the citizens of Iraq. Then we feel a rate because Kurdistan is happy with the mathematics of the budget for article 140. That is the key telling us the rate is approved and ready to come out. Then the third thing would be a budget. Cabinet. Rate. Budget. Or give us the cabinet and then give us the rate and budget together. That is the sequence we are studying right now...
Frank26 This Allawi guy. This prime minister IMO is learning about the currency reform because he is attending the CBI meetings I suggest are happening. I believe the speed of what they are learning is accelerated at a very fast pace and the reason why is because Donald Trump is asking for this...I believe there has been a date that has been given by what I call the Fab 4 to the CBI and I believe in my strong opinion that the CBI has committed to said date. If there is a date that means there is a target that means we are not guessing anymore are we...To me, IMO, this is nonnegotiable. It is a set date...the prime minister of Iraq IMO has the authority to sit his cabinet and to work with the United Nations and to work with NATO for only one reason - the reinstatement of the Iraqi dinar because that's what's going to give you the economic reforms...
Delta ...In my personal opinion only - February is looking very very solid and I think we are going to move very very fast. As soon as they pass the government or around the same timing we should IMO see the Central Bank of Iraq change the rate. They are way behind schedule. They are overdue with all of that. The CBI I don't know if they can wait that much longer. So I'm giving them...to the end of this month. Two weeks the CBI should show us a rate.
Jeff ...it's very quiet in Iraq right now. The only things they've been talking about since the beginning of January was obviously finish forming the government and implementing the demonstrators demands...the demonstrators demands those are post rate change. Those come after the rate change. The actual roadmap that I've laid out...since last year is unfolding right before your eyes. It's exactly how I laid it out. It's been very quiet. Iraq is not talking about a lot of new things. Iraq is boxed in a corner they can't implement the demonstrators demands or reforms...we are looking amazing...
