CandyKisses:  The Sadrists’ sit-in in Al-Khadra..a warm-up for a greater escalation until the implementation of what Al-Sadr wants

A political analyst close to the Sadrist movement, Manaf al-Moussawi, said today, Monday, that the sit-in of the Sadrist movement's supporters in front of the House of Representatives will continue for a long time until the demands announced by the movement's leader Muqtada al-Sadr are achieved.

Al-Moussawi told (Baghdad Today), "The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has a largely obedient audience, and that is why this audience's sit-in in front of the parliament building will be prolonged and there will be no retreat from this sit-in until after the demands announced by al-Sadr are achieved."

And he indicated that "the failure to achieve the demands of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, for a long time will not affect the issue of ending the sit-in or demonstrating, but on the contrary, the Sadrist movement may escalate the intensity of the protests to pressure the political forces to implement what al-Sadr wants."

Supporters of the Sadrist movement are holding a sit-in in the Green Zone, in protest against the nomination of the Coordinating Framework for Muhammad Shi'a for prime minister.
