BigLou423:  Really be nice if someone would just go ahead down to the airport catch a flight to wherever the button is AND JUST PUSH THE GO RV NOW!!!

RVAlready:  Parliament is now saying the exchange rate will not change in this budget. If this happens, I believe US banks and UST could still exchange us, due to the long time line for payments and the rising oil price. This story could be another piece of disinfo from Iraq. I don’t put anything past these guys.

Tishwash:  Al-Kadhimi outlines "optimal" path to a sustainable Iraqi economy

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi said Monday that human energy investment is the "best way" to establish a sustainable future economy that addresses challenges and provides long-term prosperity.

"The latter chaired the first meeting of the Ministerial Council for Human Development in 2021, discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took decisions and guidance," al-Kadhimi's office said in a statement to Shafq News.

"The role of the state should be to establish human and material infrastructure for development and to make room for the private sector to play its role in accelerating the economy and creating jobs, which preserve the dignity of citizens and the future of their families," al-Kadhimi said during the meeting.

"We will not reach real development without a systematic fight against corruption, which is establishing an exclusive approach based on influence and lawlessness, and producing a disturbing new state of class inequality," he said.

"The government will continue to make difficult decisions, despite the political repercussions, and despite the potential public misunderstanding here or there, but the historical responsibility in which we found ourselves has made it imperative for us to take steps that will achieve the country's strategic national interests," al-Kadhimi said.  link
