He pointed out that this project, which is located in Simel district, is the third project of its kind after others similar in Both Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, and expressed his hope that this project and other projects would achieve the desired success in laying the foundations for the economic structure of Kurdistan.
The Prime Minister praised the role of the private sector in supporting the government to implement this strategic project, just like the case with the other two projects in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.
The Prime Minister stressed, "These projects are important to us because they will strengthen the economic infrastructure of Kurdistan and move it to a more advanced stage, as well as achieve food security for the country, and it will guarantee and market the crops of our farmers and they do not have to worry about that anymore."

He explained that agriculture is one of the main economic foundations for every country, and the difference between agriculture and other sources of income is that agriculture will never end and can be sustained every year, and the production rate can be raised annually through the optimal use of modern technology.
He continued, "Therefore, we support these projects in various ways, because we are fully aware that Kurdistan has wide areas to increase our economic resources, and we should not rely only on one source of income."
The Prime Minister added that the strategic economic projects initiated by the government will enhance Kurdistan's position, enabling it to export its local products abroad, stressing that the Kurdistan Regional Government is working on this through external meetings with other countries.
He stressed that the Kurdistan Region has many plans to consolidate its economic infrastructure, through partnership between the public and private sectors, indicating that the government is responsible for supporting and protecting the private sector, and that close cooperation between the two sectors can move the wheel of project implementation.
He said that the Kurdistan Region has a number of sources of income, one of which comes from Baghdad as a constitutional right, and the other source is the sale of the region's oil at unstable prices according to what is imposed by international markets, as well as local products and income.

He went on to say: "A few months ago, a small part was allocated as a share to the region, and we are in dialogue with the (Federal) Prime Minister to continue sending this part of the quota, and we are also thinking about how to increase our influence in Baghdad, so that no political party can use this It's like a political card against us."
The Prime Minister indicated that the elections are approaching, and that the representatives of the region will go to the Iraqi parliament, and said: "We hope that our people will choose their representatives in Baghdad from those who defend the rights of the people of Kurdistan and provide them with the best services."
