He added that "a vote by most of the political blocs and the unification of positions for the ".political blocs can end the differences and speed up the formation of the next government The House of Representatives was able this evening to pass a law on emergency support for food security after a political consensus that included the participation of deputies of the .coordination framework and allied forces in the vote link
Yada: Tony was informed by his bank sources in a few days. Makes sence since they just voted to go forward, now everyone will get into place for the release at all levels from the treasury on down.
RVAlready: You guys have to remember, the RV does not come out of this year’s budget. It comes out of the next 50 years of oil futures. You will not see a big budget item for it in current budgets.
CharlieOK: So, in the context of history, Sadr's brilliant strategy has paid off. The MAJORITY of Parliament voted today to enact a Food Law….For it to be reported that the so called Food Law passed, it would have to pass by a majority as defined by the corrupt Federal Court.
RVAlready: Sadr got Iraq a food law and an RV.
RVAlready: The majority approved it, and the federal court essentially approved it in advance….There would be a riot if this doesn’t happen….If they hadn’t approved, they would look like they were against their own people.
CharlieOK: I really believe we are here, unless the ptb decide we aren't. Iraq has never been the lynch pin for the rv; the ptb that control Iraq are the lynch pin.

Tishwash: Adviser to Al-Kazemi: The emergency support law will compensate for the budget and move the wheel of the economy
Mazhar Muhammad Salih, the financial advisor to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, praised the parliament's approval of the emergency support law for food security and development.
Saleh told {Euphrates News}: "The emergency support law is related to national food security, as well as electric power, support for farmers, and Iraq's fuel needs."
And he indicated that "Iraq's survival on the Financial Management Law {1/12} according to last year's expenditures is not enough."
Saleh stressed that "the emergency support law will move the wheel of the economy, and its approval is a very positive matter in supporting the poor classes, as it is considered a compensatory law for the budget law, which prevented the political impasse between its approval."
The House of Representatives voted in its session this evening on the proposal of the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development, allocating 25 trillion dinars to different pieces, after which it raised its session and entered into a legislative recess for a whole month. link

Tishwash: Allows the payment of debts to Iran .. Iraq approves a law for emergency support and food security
On Wednesday, the Iraqi parliament approved the "Emergency Support for Food Security and Development" law, which allocated 25 trillion Iraqi dinars (about $17 billion).
The law aims to allocate emergency payments to many sectors, foremost of which are electricity, food security, poverty alleviation and financial stability in light of global developments, according to a statement issued by the council.
The statement indicated that the law seeks to create job opportunities, maximize the use of state resources, advance development, and resume work on suspended projects due to lack of funding and new projects of importance.
According to the text of the law, which was published by the Iraqi News Agency " Aa ", the law is financed from "money in the accounts of the Ministry of Finance, grants, subsidies and financial aid provided by countries and local and international organizations."
The law also allowed the Minister of Finance to continue to borrow internally and externally to finance development projects, which were approved in the previous federal budget laws, and 50 percent of the revenues of border crossings will be allocated to projects within the governorates.
The funds in this law will be allocated to the reconstruction and development of projects in the governorates, which will be distributed according to population ratios and the poverty line for each governorate.
The law allowed for a two-year postponement of the payment of government debts owed to farmers and farmers, and to postpone the repayment of loans that do not exceed 400 million Iraqi dinars, with no interest charged to them during the postponement period.
The law stipulates the continuation of contracting with holders of "bachelor's and diploma" degrees for all specializations to work in the departments of local administrations in the governorates.
The law allocated 4 trillion dinars (about 2.7 billion dollars) to pay off the external debt and the debts of importing and purchasing gas and energy, as Iraq owes Iran "a sum of 1.6 billion dollars for gas dues," as Minister of Electricity Adel Karim announced last May, according to an AFP report.
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi said on Tuesday that "one of the problems that affected the delay in the payment of dues" to Iran "is the absence of the budget."
He stressed that these outstanding debts are "before 2020," and therefore the supply was reduced, but Iran "promised to solve the issue and return our gas needs in the coming days." link
