Wolfe:  anything new in the way of news on the budget passing ?

Saltar:  Wolfe, Budget vote is Sun at 3:pm in Iraq now.

Red:  they vote 3 times, the first time to work out any differences, then they vote. the second time is just to make sure nothing has changed, if so then they vote a third time to make it official then they place it into the Gazette, I think that is correct way they does things in Iraq Goverment.

Saturday-

The Kurdish delegation will arrive this evening in Baghdad, and tomorrow it will hold a meeting with the Presidency of Parliament and heads of political blocs to resolve the points of contention and reach a final agreement to vote on the budget law.

The deputy from the Kurdistan Democratic Bloc, Sherwan Al-Dubaradani, stated that the atmosphere is currently positive, especially after the meeting of the Finance Committee and its hosting of the ministers, and that Sunday will be a crucial day for voting on the budget law.

Committee member Naji Al-Saeedi said in a televised interview: “There is agreement to pass the budget in the Sunday session, and the Finance Committee continues to work to approve the budget,”

Cutebwoy:  Talks in the last hours … The Kurdistan Region delegation arrives in Baghdad

Shafaq News / A party source informed Shafaq News Agency that the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation arrived in Baghdad on Saturday evening to discuss the federal financial budget for the current year.

The source told Shafaq News that the delegation will hold talks with the Presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and heads of political blocs before the voting session on the draft budget tomorrow.

He added that the discussions aimed at resolving differences over the region’s share of the budget before the project was passed in the House of Representatives. 

For months, intensive discussions have been held on the draft fiscal budget law for the current year, but disagreements still exist regarding it, especially the item related to the Kurdistan Region’s share.

Political forces reject the agreement reached by Baghdad and Erbil late last year regarding the budget, which provides for the delivery of 250 thousand barrels per day of oil and half of the other financial revenues to the federal government in return for the region’s share of the budget estimated at 12.6 percent

Tishwash:  Disputes postpone the budget session to seven in the evening

On Sunday, the House of Representatives decided to hold a voting session on the federal budget at seven in the evening.

The Parliament’s Media Department said in a statement received by the Tigris, that “discussions of political blocs and forces continue with the government and its relevant ministries about the draft budget bill, and accordingly the Presidency of the Council decided that the voting session on the law will take place today, Sunday, corresponding to the 28th of March 2021, Seven o’clock in the evening. ” link

The three presidencies meet with the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation to agree on the draft budget, and solve theproblems between the two partiesT

A source told NRT Arabia, (March 28, 2021), that "the regional government delegation entered into a meeting with the three presidencies and Iraqi political forces outside the House of Representatives building to resolve disputes over the draft budget."

On Sunday, the House of Representatives decided to hold a voting session on the federal budget at seven in the evening .

The Parliament's Media Department said in a statement that NRT  Arabia received  , a copy of it, (March 28, 2021),  that "discussions of political blocs and forces are continuing with the government and its relevant ministries, about the draft budget bill."

The statement added, "The Presidency of the Council decided that the voting session on the law will take place today, Sunday, March 28, 2021, at seven in the evening  link
