The Kurdish blocs combined 58 seats in the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

And the National Coalition led by Iyad Allawi announced, earlier today, Sunday, that it would not vote for Mustafa Al-Kazemi's government, as a special session was scheduled to be held in this regard this week. The State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki - 26 seats - also announced not to vote for Al-Kazemi's government.

The National Coalition bloc has officially 21 seats, before it was exposed to splits, and its members joined other blocs.

For the government to obtain the confidence of Parliament, an absolute majority vote (50 percent + 1) of the number of members present (not the total number) is required to give confidence, but his chances in light of the mounting opposition seem difficult.

Tishwash:  Al-Sadr's "time-out" is nearing completion...a new initiative is looming, and the coordination talks about "dissolving Parliament

With the deadline set by the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr to form the largest bloc approaching its end, many scenarios have returned to the fore, including the option of dissolving Parliament despite the exclusion of some parties for the possibility of its implementation, with a political talk about an initiative that is expected to be presented by the leader of the Democratic Party Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani to overcome the political crisis

At a time when a parliamentarian indicated that the option to dissolve parliament is the normal situation in the event that the political blockage continues and the other parties do not take the initiative to provide solutions to end the crisis, a leader in the Kurdistan Democratic Party Going to the option of dissolving Parliament

Representative of the Coordination Framework, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, criticized the insistence of some parties to expel parties, people or parties for narrow purposes, noting that the option to dissolve parliament is the logical solution in the event that the political blockage continues and the other party adheres to its positions

Al-Moussawi said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "There is nothing impossible in politics, and if we find that the other parties did not initiate and did not offer any solutions and did not take into account the supreme interest of the country and the interest of the people, the option to dissolve Parliament will be present and the natural result of the state of political blockage," noting "The coordinating framework was and still is the initiator, and it is the party that deals flexibly and calls for dialogue and extends its hand to all political parties to resolve the crisis.

Al-Moussawi added, "Politics is the art of the possible, and therefore we do not expect a political party or party to maintain one position, and dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to create solutions. But if the parties are unable to provide solutions in the interest of the country, these parties do not deserve to be represented." for the Iraqi people."

He pointed out that "the political process in Iraq Since the first day of its launch, it was intended to be receptive to other opinions and positions. Either we put a veto on a party, party or component, it will lead to a collapse in the political process and will not lead to any result absolutely.

” The narrowness was the reason for placing a veto on any side, but for those who want an interest Iraq The people have to accommodate everyone and set a program for solutions, for Iraq is the country of everyone, and it is not possible to marginalize or exclude a party, but we have to sit at one table and discuss a program that serves the citizen instead of discussing the exclusion of a party, parties or people.”
