After The Sadrists Withdrew From The Judiciary, The "Minister Of The Leader" Vows To Take A "Surprising Step That Does Not Occur To Them"

Posted On2022-08-25 By Sotaliraq   Baghdad / Tamim Al-Hassan   The wing of the "troika" within the coordinating framework has become more convinced - after the incident of besieging the judiciary - to go to a parliamentary session and proceed with the formation of a government, but the knot is in how to convince the partners.

See this content in the original post

The "trio" led by Nuri al-Maliki, the leader of the state of law, determined an alternative location for the supposed session, located on the banks of the Tigris River inside Baghdad, after the failure of the scenario of moving parliament outside the capital.

The last group escalated its speech, and vowed more now, with the Sadrist movement gathering in front of the judiciary building, and the frequency of statements increased after the Sadrists' withdrawal decision.

The escalation, according to some information, led to the "troika"'s intervention by writing an unprecedented statement to the Popular Mobilization in which it hinted at a move to "protect institutions" and "civil peace."

The severity of the last statement required a response from the government, which singled out the "maximum penalties" in case the military instructions were violated.

On the other hand, hours after the followers of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, withdrew from the vicinity of the Judicial Council, his minister, "Saleh al-Iraqi", returned to threaten more escalation.

Commenting on the step of protesting before the Judicial Council, the Iraqi, or what is known as the “minister of the leader,” said: “Whether this step is considered a failure or a success... it means that we will take another sudden step that they do not think of....”

Most of the information that reached the (range) of the Sadrist movement indicates that the next steps are going towards "civil disobedience" or, at the very least, besieging other authorities.

Al-Iraqi vowed, in a tweet yesterday, to reveal in the future those whom he called “the horns of power that rose against the revolution” during the process of besieging the Judicial Council.

Al-Iraqi listed several points about what he said was one of the reasons for the “trumpets” attacking the Sadrists, including: “For fear that the judiciary will resort to revealing their corruption files,” in reference to Sadr’s opponents, and that: “(The framework) considers the judiciary to be the only protector for them... As long as the sit-in continues, they will not have a presence in the future and they will not be able to form a government.”

In his tweet, the "minister of the leader" attacked the head of the Judicial Council, Faeq Zeidan, who described him as "the biggest supporter (of the framework)."

And about what Al-Sadr’s followers’ movement to the Judicial Council achieved, Al-Iraqi said: “We removed the international pressures by calling for dialogue with the corrupt.

He also mentioned the "minister of the leader" that the last demonstration, according to the latter, the judiciary "will try to uncover some files of corruption in order to stave off another sit-in" may be carried out by the Sadrists.

In his tweet, Al-Iraqi expected that new arrest warrants would be issued against Al-Sadr's followers, following 3 memoranda issued the day before yesterday, against two former MPs from the movement and another leader.

The arrest warrants had raised the eyebrows of activists and bloggers because of the "speed of issuance" in return for the delay in prosecuting those involved in the violence in the "Tishreen" demonstrations, the "Speicher" events and the "fall of Mosul".

In the "withdrawal tweet" published by the "minister of the leader" on Tuesday evening, hours after Sadr's supporters gathered in front of the judiciary, he asked them to keep some of the tents that had been erected there.

Al-Iraqi suggested that these tents be called "Speicher Martyrs" and "People of Mosul", and "Remove the Corrupt", which is part of the Sadrists' recent demands from the judiciary.

Frame" ascends

Calm returned yesterday morning to the vicinity of the Judicial Council, after the decision of the President of the Council to reopen the courts, hours after the decision to disable them in protest against the Federal Court's exposure to "threats."

The truce steps from both sides came after political statements by most of the active forces besieging the judiciary, and emphasizing the removal of the judiciary from the current crisis.

But on the other hand, parties from the framework found an appropriate time to take the escalation to another place, especially after the Sadrists retreated and news of the withdrawal of their tents at a later time, in front of the judiciary building.

According to information received by Al-Mada, the “ominous trio” team, as described by the “Minister of the Leader,” who are (State of Law, the Wisdom Movement, and Asa’ib) began removing Hadi Al-Amiri, the leader of Al-Fateh and his initiatives for dialogue.

The last team, according to what was leaked behind the scenes, was "not convinced" of the steps of Al-Amiri, who had previously been called "Sheikh Al-Attar" by parties from the "Coordination Committee".[/size]

Although the leader of Al-Fateh had conducted a tour more than a week ago, which included Kurdistan and meetings in Baghdad in order to resolve the crisis, the "framework" has so far not announced any statement on the results of that tour.

The "Coordination" had revealed in its statement on Tuesday, during a gathering of Sadr's followers in front of the Judicial Council, that it "refuses to receive any message from the Sadrist movement or any invitation for direct dialogue."

In its latest statement, Al-Attar called on "the Iraqi people, with all their segments, to be highly prepared and fully prepared for the next step" against what it described as "the state's kidnappers."

Accordingly, the information reported by an informed politician that "the coordinating framework decided to hold the parliament session in one of Saddam's former palaces in the Adhamiya area on the Tigris River, and it also hints that it has escalatory steps that have not been disclosed so far."

So far, the "framework" has not officially revealed this, especially since it is still facing a refusal by the rest of the political forces to hold a session amid the objection of "Al-Sadr," according to what was quoted by an adviser in the House of Representatives.

The features of the escalation by the "triple team" appear in the sharp statement issued by the popular crowd on the evening of the siege of the judiciary, which the well-informed politician confirmed that it was written under "pressure from that team."

A statement by the PMF said that after the recent developments, it finds itself: "It is obligated to protect civil peace, defend the state, prevent the collapse of its pillars, and protect the constitution, which everyone swore to protect and abide by."

She added in an interview that showed the commission as an authority separate from the government, "As the Popular Mobilization Authority declares its readiness to defend state institutions (...), it calls on the caretaker government to take responsibility and seriously in protecting the constitutional state institutions."

Referring to the Sadrist Movement's Peace Brigades, the crowd said: "The authority obligates all the leaders of the Popular Mobilization operations and the leadership of the Samarra operations (supervised by Saraya al-Salam), in particular, to abide by the duties assigned to it within the sector of its responsibilities and not to enter the political fray, and the authority will hold violators accountable."

The statement, which raised the doubts of the political parties about the identity of the parties behind it, prompted Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the Prime Minister, to warn the security and military forces against being drawn into "political conflicts."

Al-Kazemi directed, according to a statement published by the spokesman for the Commander in Chief, to "implement the harshest legal penalties against any member of the Iraqi security and military forces who violate the established instructions in this regard."

He stressed the "necessity for all security and military units to conduct an audit of their employees, and to apply legal procedures against violators."

He stressed "preventing the security and military institutions from issuing any statement of a political nature, or that represents a transgression and a suggestion that any institution is not committed to the applicable military and security context."  LINK

Al-Fateh Aims At Al-Halbousi: He Does Not Want The Parliament Sessions To Return

Posted On2022-08-25 By Sotaliraq   The leader of the State of Law coalition, Fadel Mawat, considered, on Wednesday, that the current Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, is not keen on the continuation of the current political process.

In an interview, Mwat said, "Al-Halbousi was not serious in taking a decision to return to parliament sessions, which contributes to disrupting many issues of the Iraqi people," stressing that "the Gulf ties affect Al-Halbousi in making the decision to return to parliament sessions."

He added, "We now need a brave decision similar to what the head of the Judicial Council took after the courts were disrupted in Iraq, and several warrants were also issued against those accused of being threatened by the Iraqi judiciary."

He continued, "Al-Halbousi represents a very large part of the responsibility that led to the current political impasse, for not taking a decision to hold the parliament session to vote on the posts of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister."

He pointed out that "there must be a solidarity of parliamentarians to pressure al-Halbousi in order to issue a decision to return parliament sessions."

The independent politician Saad Al-Mutalibi accused, in a previous interview, that “the Presidency of the House of Representatives deliberately disrupted the Council, indicating that the siege of the Sadrist movement’s supporters of the Judicial Council made the need to restore Parliament more important.”  LINK
