Tishwash: Here are the provinces that declared a holiday this week
A number of governorates announced the disruption of official working hours in their constituencies this week on the anniversary of the 40th anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
In Karbala , the provincial council announced the disruption of official working hours, which began from Sunday, the 13th of October and will continue until next Thursday, the 17th of the same month.

The Dhi Qar Provincial Council decided to suspend official working hours in the province from Tuesday to Thursday.
The Wasit Provincial Council announced the suspension of official working hours in the province on Wednesday and Thursday.

The representative of the Office of the Supreme Religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Imam Ali al-Sistani, said that Iraq is going through harsh conditions and needs a real reform movement.
The statement quoted the information of the Abbas Brigade Combat Team (Brigade 26 in the Popular Mobilization Agency) received (Euphrates News) a copy of the representative of the Office of the Supreme Reference, Sheikh Tariq al-Baghdadi praised “the efforts of the Abbas combat squad to visitors arriving to the holy city of Karbala to revive the visit of the fortieth Imam Hussein { P, which includes a security, regulatory and extension effort. ”
Sheikh al-Baghdadi said that “there are directives by the supreme religious authority on investing this great opportunity in recalling the sacrifices of Imam Hussein and his family and their companions for the great principles and message of good and reform and the right and morals and the true doctrines for which Imam Hussein (p) sacrificed.” Indicating that “the tips of the reference can be summarized by the investment of this occasion to be a way of school for self-cultivation and education through the perpetuation of this great anniversary, especially as Iraq is going through harsh conditions and needs a real reform movement”
He stressed, “What we need to a pure and pure message from Imam Hussein (AS) in urging the reform of the conditions of slaves and the country and the education of the individual and society to be coherent and able to face challenges with all strength, patience and stability to reach safety.”
Sheikh al-Baghdadi added that “the highest religious authority appreciates the efforts made by all popular, official and security authorities in order to maintain the security of this visit in order to enable visitors to perform the visit in the best conditions.
We are working to provide service to visitors and provide the security required for the visit to be a great flow, and we ask God to make this visit a source of good and blessing and a breakthrough on Iraq as it goes through these difficult circumstances.

Francis Albert: All countries manipulate their currency. Value lowers when more is printed and value is raised when people have more confidence in the currency, which of course, has many factors affecting confidence. Well, if it goes on FOREX higher than the present rate, it will IMO trade up to $3.00 range fast...just not as dramatic as a classic RV. And I believe that is the scenario we'll see. Could be wrong, but don't think I am.
Whitelions : ...I know the biggest problem is 99% of the people that got into this did it on the word or [of?] a quick payout and here we are still here but it will happen and fairly quick now...there is no going back now too much has and is being done ….but again to many people have pumped this now ……that it very hard for people to just watch it unfold at the pace it needs to take to get it done right.

Samson: A girl from the Kurdistan Region presents the Pope with a cloak that cost 10 million dinars

A Kurdish girl accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government met with the Pope Francis, she donated a cloak made by herself and dressed her with her own hands, while the Pope promised to visit Kurdistan wearing them.
She spent a year and seven months sewing and embroidery a cloak in the name of peace and coexistence from a cover embroidered with beads, rubies and precious stones costing 10 million Iraqi dinars, because it contains 110 thousand beads.
She said that the back of the cloak alone embroidered 5,000 beads as a symbol of the 5,000 "martyrs" who died in the tragedy of Halabja chemical weapons by the former regime, adding that there are symbols on the cloak refers to the different religions coexisting peacefully in Kurdistan. She said that during the brief meeting she kissed the hand of Pope Francis and asked him to support the Kurds to have a state. "I asked him to do his best to stop the attack on western Kurdistan," she said.
Thousands of people in the Vatican prayed for peace on October 9. She was accompanied by Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government Bashtiwan Sadiq and an accompanying delegation on a visit to the Vatican and gave the mantle to Pope Francis amid crowds of thousands of worshipers.
