RVAlready: I hope the GCR happens by 1/2/20 (preferably earlier), and the fed goes away, taking their debt with them. Their balance sheet now exceeds 4 trillion, more every week, and they have lost any meaningful control of the economy.
RVAlready: If the fed continues, we are staring at more recessions pretty soon….You can google Fed Failure today and read the Marketwatch article, or several other articles out today…… Fed balance sheet up, stock market up without real growth. Not a good scene…….Hope Shabibi becomes the PM, as he is most likely to get the RV done.

It's the Minister of Finance who opens it and declares it to the country...not all of the GOI resigned and ran away in fear of being arrested...a good majority who were decent are still there...the Minister of Finance that is in this government that did not resign he has the authority to open the budget...

Samson: What if Abdul-Mahdi refused to continue with the caretaker government?

Legal expert Tareq Harb said, on Tuesday, that the functions of the prime minister will be transferred to President Barham Salih in the event that Adel Abdel-Mahdi rejects continue running the caretaker government.
Harb said in a statement to "Information", that "the law allows Abdul Mahdi to remain in the administration of the caretaker government until the new Prime Minister is named to prevent the disruption of government work." Abdul-Mahdi continued his management of the caretaker government.
He added that, "Saleh did not elect a prime minister and transfer the government’s duties to him requires only to fill the constitutional void", noting that "Saleh will manage the government by conducting daily business only and he is not entitled to conclude agreements or treaties or launch large appointments."
And the media office of the resigned prime minister announced the day before yesterday Sunday of handing over the work of the government to the president of the republic next Thursday in the event that there is no agreement on a candidate for the next government in accordance with the constitution. Samson: Six years imprisonment against MP (Mulla Talal) for bribery

The Integrity Commission announced today, Tuesday, a six-year prison sentence for a member of the House of Representatives for the current session, based on the provisions of Resolution (160 of 1983).
The Investigation Department of the commission said, "The Central Anti-Corruption Court issued a six-year prison sentence with a fine of ten million dinars against a member of the House of Representatives for the current session," explaining that "the ruling came against the background of the department implementing a seizure process against the accused."
The department added in a statement received by "Eye of Iraq News", that "the seizure came after receiving a notification that includes the intention of the accused to receive an amount of (150,000) thousand dollars in exchange for ceasing to obstruct the work of a company."
In the same regard, an informed source revealed, on Tuesday, that the current deputy, who had been sentenced to six years imprisonment. The source said, "The current deputy who was sentenced to a six-year prison sentence is Representative Mahmoud Mulla Talal, on charges of bribery." The source added, "The ruling also included a fine of 10 million dinars." LINK
