Samson:  After the elections: 3 expected scenarios .. Those close to Al-Kazemi want him to stay .. and a Kurdish delegation coming to Baghdad to negotiate the formation of the government

16th October, 2021

In addition to the most important question: Who is the next prime minister.. Will the current prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, remain for a second term to complete his program, or is he in (the weather is cloudy), as the famous Gulf song says?

In the context of this question, the former representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Abdul Bari Zebari, says that all options are open in future alliances, including the alliance of all blocs close to the current Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to form the next government.

Zebari added, "The blocs close to Mr. Al-Kazemi got the highest votes. The Sadrist movement has a positive view of him, as does the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in addition to the "Progress" alliance, likely that Al-Kazemi will be the middle option on which everyone will meet.

Kurdish delegation to negotiate

He pointed out that all options are on the table, including the formation of the parliamentary bloc, the largest of all Shiite blocs in parliament. And there is a Kurdish negotiating delegation that will go to Baghdad, which may be formed from the two main parties, the Democratic Party and the Union, to negotiate the process of forming the next government.
