Evidently the US switched to Gold-backed USN Dollar currency on Friday, 15 July.
For some time many nations’ Gold-backed currencies including the new Iraqi Dinar and US Note rates, have been trading on the back screens of the international markets.

Central Bank: Paris will be the starting point of the Iraqi banking sector towards Europe

Central Bank Governor, Mostafa Ghaleb Mokhief, met on Friday with his French counterpart, Francois Villeroy de Gallo, in Paris.
A statement from the feared office said that the two sides discussed the development of banking relations between the two countries.
And the governor indicated that he discussed with de Gallo, global economic developments, emphasizing the development of banking and economic relations between the two countries, and that France would be the starting point of the Iraqi banking sector towards Europe, stressing that this sector is making progress at various levels, such as banking services and the rest of the indicators that are witnessing a continuous rise. .
They also discussed the file of combating money laundering and terrorist financing and developing human resources working in the banking sector with international institutions.
For his part, the Governor of the French Central Bank praised Iraq's efforts in developing combating money laundering and financing terrorism and developing banking relations between the two countries, stressing that the French banking sector is open to its Iraqi counterpart, especially with regard to facilitating transfers and banking relations.
On the other hand, Makheef met with a number of French banks and companies, urging them to cooperate with Iraqi institutions and invest inside Iraq, stressing that the Iraqi banking sector is capable of meeting the requirements of French companies and facilitating their tasks, with the desire of the Central Bank of Iraq for France to be a starting point for the banking sector towards Europe to establish a network of distinguished banking relationships.
It is noteworthy that the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq is currently visiting France at the head of a large Iraqi banking delegation.

Samson: President Barzani discusses with the Russian consul political and economic relations

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, and the Russian consul discussed, on Saturday, the political and economic relations between Kurdistan Region and Russia.
A statement by Barzani's headquarters, received by Shafaq News Agency, said that the latter received the Russian Consul General in Erbil, Oleg Levin, to bid him farewell after the end of his diplomatic duties, and the consul thanked the regional government and its institutions for helping to carry out the duties of the consulate.
In the meeting, views were also exchanged on the political and economic relations between the Kurdistan Region and Russia, and the focus was on developing those relations. LINK

Nader From The Mid East Good news for you...my friends knew it two or three days ago I wanted to confirm but it's too late everybody knows about it now I think...Europe will be opening the door for the Iraqi dinar exchange. If you want to exchange your dinars in a couple week you can go there and change your dinars. But for now the rate is not there...not time yet for congratulations but soon will be congratulations...
