Re: Militiaman Post

Raindander777:  Excellent MM, very well organized and laid out.

As I read about the time frame this video was done a couple of things swept through my mind. 10/1/19 thru 12/31/19 = the 4th quarter. That sounds like a good time frame as I do not think that video was shown on the last day of the 3rd quarter by chance.

Also if we check history that the past shows the last 2 changes came in April and December if I recall correctly and the days were a Tuesday I believe. If this is correct I think we could well now be locked, loaded and cocked with pressure slowly squeezing the trigger steadily.

I think we are about to hear a big boom boom at any moment when the trigger clicks. IMO

Tishwash:  Interesting…… let's see if he comes out to deny it

Sadr is afraid of assassination if he returns to Iraq .. And the Shiite forces agree for the first time against him ..

Iraqi Post: Sources said that the leader of the Sadrist movement feared the assassination and that his stay in Iran may prolong, according to the data, the intention of parties inside Iraq to assassinate him, while a security source said, on Friday, that the son of a spokesman for the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr survived an assassination attempt in Baghdad .

This coincided with the news that Muhammad Shi'a was nominated for the post of prime minister, which the Sadrist movement rejects.
Sources report that Al-Sadr is threatened with assassination, because of the differences on the position of prime minister, and the difference over the position regarding the demonstrations, as political forces behind them seek a decisive round to stop the demonstrations and announce a government in the coming months, imposed on everyone by force.

According to sources from the Shiite forces, these forces agree, for the first time, to stand in the face of al-Sadr and strip him of the reasons for his strength, even if it is necessary to use weapons. Indeed, a broad media campaign against the Sadrist movement has begun accusing him of murder and Shiite sedition, the latest of which is a focused media campaign that accuses the Sadrist movement of killing the boy in Al Wathba.

To that, the sources said that the Sadrist movement has become at a distance with the Shiite forces about the position regarding the demonstrations and the candidate of the Prime Minister.
Sources reported that Barham Salih told Al-Sadr that Najaf and Qom do not mind the leadership of the Shiites of the government, just as the stream of wisdom and the coalition of victory stand by the choice of Shiites, which made the Sadrist movement accuse them of hypocrisy.   link

Briona:  I thought Sadr hated Iran and now he is staying there because he is afraid to come back to Iraq. Makes as much sense as anything that comes out of Iraq.

Cutebwoy:  So the citizens want the former central bank governor SHABIBI to be one of the nominees for prime minister, these people are smart….. I think Iraq is now on the right path in the coming hours it will be announced SHABiBI is the new prime minister

Popular discontent in Iraq towards the nomination of “a man of Iran” for prime minister .. The demonstrators nominate former

Monday 16 December 2019 – 02:00

Baghdad – Dr. Hamid Abdullah:

Political sources reported that most of the political blocs agreed to nominate Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani to head the next Iraqi government, an agreement that he met with rejection from the “victory” and “marching” blocs, in addition to a broad rejection in the Iraqi street.

The sources added that Iran is pressing hard to be the next Sudanese Prime Minister, although his specifications do not match the specifications put forth by the street for the personality of the new prime minister.

On Saturday, notables and activists in Basra province threatened to cut oil exports and stop the movement of ports, in the event that the political blocs insisted on nominating the Sudanese head of government, and indicated that the rising street wanted an “independent, not resigned” figure.

Amid pressure from pro-Iranian political and militia parties and entities to nominate Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani as prime minister, the response of the demonstrators came from various arenas rejecting the nomination, its owner and who is behind it, which is consistent with the demands and theses of the ongoing uprising.

With the protestors of Tahrir Square rejecting the nomination of the former minister, Muhammad Shi’a Al-Sudani, for the post of Prime Minister, a close associate of Al-Sudani revealed that the political blocs rejected the conditions of Khalifa Abdul-Mahdi to take the post.

A close to the Sudanese said that he stipulated that a Supreme Court be formed to combat corruption, and that the next government start implementing a plan with a specific time limit to return the stolen and smuggled funds out of Iraq, and his refusal to receive any candidate from the parties to fill the ministerial portfolios.

The source indicated that the conditions of the Sudanese may lose him the opportunity to take the position, especially that the protesters in Tahrir Square announced their explicit refusal to take the position because he was a leader in the Dawa Party, stressing that his resignation from the party does not excuse him from his previous history, in which he was known as a defender of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

Haneen Qaddo, a member of the Construction Coalition, said that the Sudanese got the support of the political forces, but he did not obtain the approval of the demonstrators, which makes his opportunity uncertain, and that the political forces may think of a substitute for him within the next few days.

The Sudanese had visited the city of Najaf greed in an interview with senior Shiite references to obtain their support for the first executive position in Iraq, but they refused to receive him.

On the other hand, the Tahrir Square formats put forward four candidates for prime minister and gave the option to the political blocs to agree on one of them.

The four names that the coordination has agreed to nominate are the former Governor of the Central Bank, Sinan Al-Shabibi, the Lieutenant General Abdul-Ghani Al-Asadi, the Lieutenant-General Abdul-Wahab Al-Sa’id, and the former Integrity Commission Judge, Rahim al-Akili.

Sources close to the Tehran-backed Fatah bloc say that Iran’s proxies in Iraq will reject all candidates for the demonstrations because they are not subject to the terms and agendas of influential political forces

SwampyJack:  Shabs wanted to RI over 5 years ago ! Hopefully he still holds that position

Briona:  So much for getting a younger person in office, but if they are going to get an old man, Shabibi is the one.

RvAlready:  Shabibi is old. If he becomes PM, Maliki will blow a gasket, which would be fun to watch. Maybe Shabibi could kick Maliki out of Iraq permanently.

Jeff   Here's my option on the demonstrations.  Yes they're gonna continue.  At least right now they're not out of control and they're not tearing the place apart...the government was only able to offer back roughly two items without having the rate change...Money and creating jobs for them.

All of their other demands which were additional monies from Article 140, HCL, reforms reconstruction all of those items are contained within the 2020 budget...the 2020 budget is married to the rate change.

They can't implement any of those additional items which are demonstrator demands until that rate changes...

Here's the good news about this...we know that more time is needed to finish setting the stage for the rate change...but they can't wait too long because the demonstrators are going to be so far up their wazoo tearing the place apart that they can't wait 6 to 8 months...so that's good having that lurking in the background...
