Samson:  Why did America call the killing of Baghdadi "Kayla Mueller"?

2019/10/28 8:36

The US military has called the killing of ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi "Kayla Muller," the US national security adviser Robert O'Brien said. The killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is named after an American hostage named Kayla Mueller, who was abducted by ISIS militants in the northern city of Aleppo in 2013.

Mueller was working in relief for war-affected people in northern Syria, and remained held by ISIS until the announcement. She was killed in February 2015. Muller was born on August 14, 1988, from the US state of Arizona, and along with her humanitarian work was a human rights activist. O'Brien told NBC that Mueller's name for the killing of ISIS leader was to bring justice to her and the Americans who were brutally murdered by Baghdadi and his followers.

Among Americans killed by ISIS is journalist James Foley, who was kidnapped by ISIS militants in November 2012 in Syria, until he was massacred by ISIS militants in August 2014 in a video that caused a sensation. There were conflicting reports about how Mueller was killed in Syria while ISIS is in the grip. While the group said it was killed by a shell during a raid by Jordanian aircraft on the ISIS stronghold in the city of Raqqa in retaliation for the burning of the Jordanian pilot Muath Kasasbeh, Washington lied to this account.

US President Donald Trump announced at a White House press conference that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a military operation by US special forces Saturday night on a compound he was hiding in the area of Brisha in Idlib province in northwestern Syria.  LINK

Samson:  Secretary of Defense: Baghdadi's death a devastating blow to ISIS

2019/10/28 8:30

The killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is "a devastating blow to the terrorist organization of ISIS," US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said, noting that it is difficult to defeat the ideology that drives ISIS.

He explained that the goal of the US raid launched by special forces of the army, "was to arrest Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi or kill him in the case could not be arrested," as he put it. He added that "US forces asked Baghdadi to surrender, but he refused and then detonated his explosive vest." Mark Esper concluded that the withdrawal of US troops from northeastern Syria did not accelerate the killing of Baghdadi.

Esper's comments came in conjunction with US President Donald Trump's announcement that Baghdadi was killed after being targeted by a US military raid in the northwestern province of Idlib. Trump announced Sunday from the White House that "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead," saying that the United States "implemented justice for the most dangerous terrorist in the world." "When US forces surrounded Baghdadi, he fled into a tunnel with three of his children and detonated his explosive belt," he said.   LINK

Is The Bond Market Primed For A Flash Crash? The Ratings Agencies Are Complicit

Silver Report Uncut:  Oct 28, 2019

Today we take a look at the market at most risk of a flash crash. Now we see several high profile companies have increased their debt many times over yet they hold on to their investment grade status. This is because the Ratings agencies look for all types of reasons to not  grade companies. If ratings agencies were honest based on the increase of debt alone we would have seen wide spread downgrades of falling angels. What good are ratings if they’re not rating?
