The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Friday that it has taken extraordinary measures on combating corruption in the country.
The Council said in a statement received (Euphrates News) a copy of it, that "in light of what is happening and after the electronic deliberation and the emergency meeting between the President of the Supreme Judicial Council with members of the Supreme Judicial Council has reached the Council to instruct the Central Court against Corruption to take exceptional measures by issuing memos Arresting the defendants whose cases fall within the jurisdiction of the court and preventing their travel and instructing the executive authorities to do so.
