Samson: Vietnam rises despite wars .. Will the Iraqis bite?
28th November 2020
Writer Rocher Sharma says in an article published in the American "New York Times" newspaper, that containing the Corona epidemic has allowed Vietnam to quickly resume commercial activity, and its economy is expected to be the fastest growing in the world this year.
While many countries suffer a huge economic setback that prompted them to borrow from the International Monetary Fund, the Vietnamese economy is growing at a rate of 3% annually.
Vietnam has been working on achieving this development for a long time. After World War II, it made its way out of poverty through openness to trade and investment, and turned into an industrial export powerhouse. Currently, Vietnam is on the same path, but in an entirely new era. Although one party has ruled the country for nearly half a century, it was able to rise quickly from the pits of war.
Even with the decline in global trade in 2010, Vietnam’s exports grew by 16 percent annually, which is by far the fastest rate in the world and three times the average in developing countries. While other emerging countries spend lavishly on social welfare in an attempt to appease voters, Vietnam allocates its resources to preparing infrastructure for exports, by building roads and ports to transport goods abroad and building schools to educate workers, and the government also invests about 8% of GDP annually in New construction projects.
Vietnam has become the preferred destination for export manufacturers leaving China looking for cheaper prices. This qualified workforce is helping Vietnam climb to the "top of the pyramid", perhaps at a faster rate than any competitor to manufacture increasingly sophisticated goods.
Vietnam has signed more than a dozen free trade agreements, including the historic one recently concluded with the European Union. Vietnam will continue to succeed, despite the obstacles, while Iraq, which has been affected by conflicts like Vietnam, is still living in illusions, poverty, empty grandeur and drowning in the past. Samson: Organization: China will provide a third of global economic growth in 2021
16:39 - 12/04/2020
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, in a report, expected that China would provide about a third of global economic growth in the coming year, after it was hit in 2020 by the Corona crisis.
Margit Molnar, an official with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, said that containing the Covid-19 epidemic in a very short period of time allowed China to make a significant contribution to the global economy.
According to the organization's forecasts, the Chinese economy is expected to grow by 8% in 2021. However, Molnar indicated that China was not able to revive cross-border tourism and international transport due to the difficult epidemic situation in other countries of the world, stressing the need to support institutions in these sectors.
Earlier, the organization said, that despite the occurrence of a second wave of outbreaks of the Corona virus in many countries, the outlook for the global economy is improving. She added that thanks to the development of several vaccines for the Corona virus, signs of recovery have appeared in the economies of some countries, the first of which is China, even in light of the spread of a second wave of the disease.
According to the organization's economic forecasts, the global economic growth rate will reach 4.2% in 2021, but it will decline in 2022 to reach 3.7%, after it experienced a contraction of 4.2% this year. LINK

Frank26 someone says to me 'Frank, if Biden is elected president this all goes down the toilet doesn't it?" As far as the Iraqi dinar monetary reform goes that belongs to Iraq and Iraq is a sovereign country. They can do what they want...Iraq is now going to be the central financial hub of the Middle East and all the middle eastern countries will support them in a basket...
Footforward [When does the 2021 budget start?] they are trying to vote on it this Saturday. It would come into effect April 1, 2021...But I've always felt the budget doesn't matter...
