Al-Hilali: Parliamentary Movement To Return The Exchange Rate To Its Previous Era

Cabinet Secretariat: The 2022 Budget Will Be The Start Of An Urban Revolution

A spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majid, said in a statement that "the budget needs to be discussed in the Council of Ministers and needs several sessions, and then it is voted on in the Council and referred to the House of Representatives, and it needs a month or two to discuss it after the formation of the next government."

He added, "According to the vision and direction of the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister, and after it was assigned to draw up the ministerial program for the next government, what is distinguished in the next budget is the great trend to complete projects in the governorates, re-work with thousands of stalled and lagging projects 10 years ago, and prepare for new projects, and the year 2022 will be a new start. Iraq Officially Joins The Nationally Determined Shareholding Companies

The Banking Sector Completely Owns The Iraqi Stock Market For The Past Year

The Director of the Iraq Future Corporation for Economic Studies, Manar Al-Obaidi, said in a statement: 4 banks occupied 67% of the total trading, which are:- The Bank of Kurdistan with a circulation rate of 34% of the total trading, the Middle East Bank of Iraq with a circulation rate of 17%, the Islamic World Bank with a circulation rate of 9%, and the Bank of Baghdad with a circulation rate of 7%.

He added: The total number of traded shares reached 930 billion, representing 7% of the number of listed shares, which amounted to 13.7 trillion shares.

As for the level of trading value, the total value of trading in the market amounted to 813 billion dinars, and the percentage of traded sectors was as follows: The banking sector, the percentage of the value of shares traded was 60%, the telecommunications sector, the percentage of the value of shares traded was 17%, the industry sector, the percentage of the value of shares traded was 15%.

Al-Obaidi added that only five companies out of 105 listed companies accounted for 68% of the trading value, namely: Kurdistan Bank by 41%, World Islamic Bank by 10.25%, Baghdad Soft Drinks Company by 6.5%, Bank of Baghdad by 5.73%, Al-Ahly Bank by 4.68%.

He considered the stock market: one of the pillars of economic development for its ability to attract local and foreign capital, and it can play an important role in investing the funds that are hoarded and located outside the banking system.

Al-Obaidi explained: The idea of ​​the Iraqi market for securities can be matured through the adoption of modern electronic systems that speed up the trading process, stressing that the market governance by decisions that make the listed companies truly tradable will contribute to pumping a lot of capital into the market to increase the financial sector’s contribution to the local product and thus create Important job opportunities that help reduce unemployment rates./End 3    https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=955990

Iraq Asks Its Citizens To Leave Ukraine And Not To Travel To It

The ministry said in a statement, received by Mawazine News, that "out of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' concern for the security and safety of the Iraqi community in Ukraine and as a result of the exceptional circumstances there, the ministry urges the honorable community to leave Ukrainian lands and for citizens not to travel there for the sake of safety."
