Samson: Communications: a new plan to provide an integrated system for cyber security

The Ministry of Communications announced, on Tuesday, the preparation of a plan to provide an integrated system for cyber security in Iraq, while confirming the provision of the necessary protection and security for some sites.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Communications, Raad Al-Mashhadani, told the official news agency, “A conference was launched at the Babel Hotel and announced by the Minister of Communications, Arkan Shihab Ahmed Al-Shaibani, during which a number of security agencies in the Ministries of Interior and Defense, the Intelligence and National Security and Military Intelligence agencies participated to provide an integrated system for cyber security. in Iraq”.
Al-Mashhadani added, “There is monitoring that includes the family, starting with the father, mother, children and whoever is responsible for it after the security institutions,” explaining that “a new integrated plan has been prepared by these gates and cybersecurity to calculate any emergency that may occur and verify any information in agreement and direct cooperation with The National Security Apparatus, as well as coordination and cooperation with the Media and Communications Authority.

Samson: Riyadh : The electrical connection will make Iraq and Saudi Arabia one country

The Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce confirmed Monday, that there are calls to open more border crossings with Iraq and investment opportunities in 7 sectors, while noting that the electrical connection will make the two countries one country.
The head of the union, Ajlan Abdul Aziz Al-Ajlan, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Saudi private sector is optimistic and is fully confident in the great support of the Iraqi-Saudi political leaders to develop and support the economy and investment, and there is a confirmed desire between the private sectors in the two countries,” noting that “there is tremendous opportunities exist in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, and a common interest for the two countries to develop these relations.”
Al-Ajlan added, “We count on the private sectors to develop relations, and there are ongoing meetings to overcome all challenges,” stressing “the need to invest in available opportunities.” He pointed out that “there is a call to open more border crossings between the two countries,” noting that “the officials in Iraq and Saudi Arabia have expressed their desire to solve the problems, which is a matter of happiness because the leaders in Iraq and Saudi Arabia support this trend.”
He stressed, “The rate of trade exchange between the two countries, which amounted to 15% during the past year, is considered an important percentage,” expecting that “the percentage will double with the follow-up of the private sectors and the support of political leaders.”

Walkingstick [via Frank26] When the articles were coming out at the end of last year they kept saying by year's end they will be able to have the new exchange rate...this was a verbal communication...from the CBI to the powers to be...of their intent to introduce a new currency and a new exchange rate...This was all done in front of the IMF, the World Bank, AMF etc. etc. etc...IMO as of a few days ago this verbal communication was introduced in a formal written format document which is required by the IMF. Therefor IMO we get closer and closer.
