Samson: An American expert warns the West against the rise of the Russian ruble

The American expert on finance, Axel de Ferno, said that the additional strengthening of the ruble will lead to additional costs for the West when buying Russian energy resources.
De Verno explained in an article published by the newspaper "The National Interest" that the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to accept payment for gas in the Russian currency led to a significant strengthening of the ruble.
"The burden on the West, which was forced to accept Putin's mechanism, will become even more painful. If the ruble continues to strengthen in the coming months, Western countries will have to incur additional costs of converting their currencies into the ruble to pay for the import of irreplaceable energy resources," he added."
De Verno said that such a development of events would increase the demand for the Russian currency in the world, and would also show the ineffectiveness of Western sanctions against Russia. LINK

Dezaddams: Wouldn't the world elites want the american dollar to crash prior to Iraq putting out a new exchange rate or do they want this exchange rate to happen to prop the american dollar back up? Curious.. Military Vet
Tivon: A dollar is a dollar within the continent of America. We are returning to the Gold Standard. Currencies will balance out. Our USD was to high for countries to do trade with us without breaking the bank. The plan is to reach parity however it comes that is what it will result in. We have enough of our own oil and other natural assets to offset any rate imbalances that could possibly ensue would not be catastrophic simply because America is the only economy that doesn't have to rely on any nation to survive. Why do you think we picked the Eagle as our symbol? Because it doesn't fly with a bunch of other birds for any type of dependence for anything. We will be ok. IMO
Kenster: I have been in this since 2013. I have always heard that when we see the HCL, we would see the new rate shortly after. That the HCL wouldn’t work with a program rate. IMO
Tivon: Basically, I share your sentiment. Why? Because the "Food Security Law" covers the Oil & Gas contracts that Kurdistan sign over to Baghdad. Didn't Al-Jubouri state that the FSL stabilizes all Contracts & Procedures? So tell me again what is about to be published in the Gazette? What did Frank discuss on the last conference call? What did Walkingstick reveal to him? What makes up 90% of Iraqs revenue? IMO
Mustangroper: So again when does Gazette come out with this posted in it? Do we know?
Tivon: Obviously they are keeping that close to the vest. So the days ahead between now and the 16th are important. Let's see what they do. IMO

Walkingstick [via Frank26] ...the Iraqi banks have been shown these new small category notes at least 4 times in these meetings this year alone...Also they discussed further study on the hologram and the security strips...They are beyond the presentation... the banks don't have the small category notes, yet.
