Samson: Al-Kazemi condemns the assassination of Shinzo Abe

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi condemned, on Friday, the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, stressing that political violence is unacceptable and results in nothing but destruction.
Al-Kazemi said in a tweet on his account on Twitter, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We offer our condolences to the friendly government and people of Japan and the family of the deceased, with the departure of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and we recall his positions in support of democracy in Iraq, and we condemn in the strongest terms the treacherous crime of his assassination." He added, "Political violence is unacceptable and results in nothing but destruction and tragedies for the history of peoples."
Today, Friday, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, offered his condolences on the death of Shinzo Abe, following the assassination of the former Prime Minister of Japan during his campaign speech in the city of Nara this morning. LINK

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi called on Friday to overcome political differences on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Al-Kazemi wrote in a congratulatory post on his two Twitter pages (Arabic and Kurdish), "I congratulate the sons of the great people of Iraq (..) on the advent of Eid al-Adha (..) and that the spirit of affection, harmony and dialogue be enshrined everywhere."
He added, "I take advantage of this occasion to make the most sincere call in order to overcome differences and for the interest and security of our people to be our first and last concern in order to see a close breakthrough in the current political situation for the good of the nation."
