Parliamentary integrity: a move to open closed files on corruption of big whales

The Baghdad Post Sunday, November 15, 2020 10:54 AM  A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Abd al-Amir Al-Mayahi, announced that the committee is determined to open all corruption files of the big personalities that were referred to the Integrity and Public Prosecution Commission and closed.

Al-Mayahi said, "Administrative corruption exists and is rampant in all state departments and is not limited to financial departments."

He added that "the committee now has a move to open all files, especially the files of large party figures and ministers," noting that "political consensus is the biggest obstacle to the integrity committee and opening those files."

The international coalition reveals the number of US forces present in Iraq

Deputy reveals 4 conditions that must be fulfilled to renew the contract of mobile phone companies

Nina's Representative Services: The government is obligated to collect the debts of the mobile phone company, according to the law, without delay

A member of the committee, Representative Burhan Al-Mamouri, said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA /, that "the House of Representatives exercised its legal and oversight role by diagnosing the joints of defects and legal violations against these companies, and filed legal claims for the renewal of contracts and licenses of those companies that exploited the money of the Iraqis."

He called on the government to take all its legal measures and not proceed with the renewal of such suspicious contracts, indicating the necessity of entering some competing companies in the telecommunications and mobile phone sector to supplement the state budget with important revenues.

The Stock Exchange: A court ruling deepens Asiacell Telecom's losses

Dollar exchange rates in the Iraqi market
