Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim And The US Ambassador Affirm The Necessity Of Holding The Elections On Time

A statement from his office, the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it, stated that Mr. Ammar al-Hakim received Toller, "and they exchanged views on developments in the Iraqi, regional and international situation."

Al-Kazemi Issues Directives To Prevent High Food Prices And Announces A Tripartite Summit

Al-Kazemi said during the cabinet session, that "the high prices of some foodstuffs that are manufactured and produced locally are an attempt by the weak-minded and some greedy merchants to confuse the social situation and to exploit the demand of citizens for foodstuffs as a result of the approaching month of Ramadan, as it happens annually."
He added, "The Ministry of Interior and Economic Security has directed to take appropriate measures to prevent tampering with the citizens' food, stop the greed of some merchants, and follow the markets."
And he stated, "We have directed to provide all support to the Ministries of Agriculture and Trade to work with the utmost efforts to provide flour. It is unacceptable for the price of flour to rise under false pretenses, and those who are left behind will be followed up."
"We have identified gangs that exploit the most heinous humanitarian issues through begging, and we have directed the Ministry of Interior to follow up the issue, address it, prosecute these gangs and present them before the law," he said.
He pointed out that "taxis are the ones who possess the license to carry out their work, and the General Traffic Directorate must do its part to prevent cars that are not licensed to operate."
He pointed out that "there is a wide diplomatic movement in Iraq. A Sharp Drop In Oil Prices

Brent crude futures fell by 3.84% to 62.14 dollars a barrel, by 13:30 Moscow time, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 3.69% to 59.29 dollars a barrel.

Allawi Is Conducting An Inspection Visit To The Rafidain Bank
Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi Banks Economy News – Baghdad The Ministry of Finance announced, on Tuesday, that the Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, made an inspection visit at the Rafidain Bank.
The ministry stated in a statement received by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Taif Sami, made an inspection visit to the Rafidain Bank (the General Administration) on Monday 3/22/2021."
The statement added, "This visit comes to see the bank's workflow, the quality of services provided, and the speedy completion of banking transactions for customers."
Allawi directed, according to the statement, the necessity of "applying the automation system to the banking business as soon as possible, similar to the sober global banks to provide better services to the Iraqi citizen," calling for the "reconstruction of its branches to suit the ancient status of the bank."
