The President Of The Republic Stresses To Nechirvan Barzani The Necessity Of Adopting Dialogue Regarding The Differences Between Erbil And Baghdad

Money and business   Economy News / Baghdad  Today, Tuesday, the President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, and the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, stressed the need for concerted efforts to preserve the country's stability and sovereignty, while stressing the importance of adopting dialogue on files between Baghdad and Erbil.

The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement that "The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, at the Baghdad Palace, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and his accompanying delegation," noting that "the issue of the displaced and the difficult living conditions they suffer from in the displacement camps were discussed, and an agreement was reached."

The need for joint action to improve their living conditions, and to make joint efforts to ensure a safe and stable return of all displaced persons to their homes and cities.

She added that "developments in the security, political and economic conditions were discussed, and support for the federal government's steps in implementing its program, which aims to meet the citizens' need to improve living and service conditions," noting that "relations with neighboring countries were discussed, which must be built on the basis of mutual respect and common interests." And the emphasis on concerted efforts to preserve Iraq's stability and sovereignty.

With regard to efforts to combat terrorism and confront ISIS gangs, the statement stated that "the importance of coordination and joint cooperation between all security forces was emphasized to eliminate hotbeds of terrorism and dry up its sources in a way that preserves the lives of citizens and protects their property and human rights."

On the outstanding issues between the federal government and the regional government, "President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani stressed the need to adopt constructive dialogue and expedite the approval of pending laws in the Iraqi parliament, and to reach solutions in accordance with the constitution and the law that achieve social justice and equality among all components of the people and meet their needs.” Ended/25 h

The Director Of Al-Rafidain Bank Undertakes His Duties And Directs The Automation Of Banking Operations

High Oil Prices In World Markets

Blaskhart comments on the repeated Iranian attacks on the Kurdistan region

The Anti-Corruption Commission Is Investigating The Transfer Of Balances Deposited In Lebanese Banks

Local | 01:21 - 11/22/2022   Baghdad - Mawazine News  The Federal Integrity Commission announced, today, Tuesday, that the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption has initiated an investigation into the process of transferring balances deposited in Lebanese banks, while it indicated that the preliminary investigations resulted in bringing in officials in the Rafidain Bank and summoning others in the Central Bank.

In a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, the commission said, "The High Commission for Combating Corruption has initiated the first investigation case, which is the process of transferring balances deposited in Lebanese banks to Al-Rafidain Bank in Beirut."

The Supreme Commission stated, according to the statement, that it is “investigating suspicions of corruption in the process of transferring funds, in addition to the bank account of the Rasheed Bank in the Central Bank of Lebanon,” noting that “the investigating judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court issued, based on its investigations into the case, orders to bring in the general manager.”

To the former Rafidain Bank and its assistant, against the background of suspicions of corruption in the process of transferring balances deposited in Lebanese banks, while he decided to summon other officials in the Central Bank.

And she pointed out that "the recruitment order issued in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code, was followed by the issuance of an order to stop the transfer of funds to the Rafidain and Rasheed banks, stressing that it will inform the public of developments in the progress of the investigation in the case and the decisions of judgments issued by the judiciary against the accused, as permitted by law and not breach the confidentiality of the investigation.”

Article (340) of the Iraqi Penal Code stipulates that: “Any public employee or person assigned to a public service who willfully causes damage to the funds or interests of the entity in which he works or is connected by virtue of his position or with the funds of the persons entrusted to him shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding seven years or with imprisonment.” Ended 29/AD 99
