US Vice President Mike Pence visited US troops in Iraq ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Pence visited Assad's air base in western Iraq, where US troops are based. Americans celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday.  LINK

Cleitus:  No other province, outside the Baghdad region,  is treated independently except Kurdistan!   Sounds like these boys are handling their own affairs..., like being their own country [within a country]!  See what's happening for the future... IMO, of course

MilitiaMan:  V.P. Mike Pence arrives with the Second Lady to Iraq, both in Baghdad and the Kurdish Region today. To visit troops and other things not disclosed.. A surprise visit. Imagine that. Kill two birds at once under the eye of Turkey. lol

I suspect bringing the Second Lady to both places is a sign of Security & Stability and a sign that we support the effort of the country to get the reforms done for the citizens at large.

I doubt there were no final agreements mentioned above. Far to important timing for their arrival, and while a delegation from the Kurds were in Bagdad, as well. Keep in mind the corruption issues, where did you get this? Yep, timing... imo.. Who is your Daddy.

What other developments are you talking about? Possibly the new ERs / MRs to rear their pretty colors? We shall see, right CBI? ~ lol  ~ MM

Samson:  The end of the Kurdistan delegation's meeting with the federal government without agreement

The source told Shafaq News that "the Kurdistan delegation, after meeting for about two hours with Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and a technical delegation, will return to Kurdistan," noting that "the meeting did not witness an agreement between the two sides."

The source added that "the meeting witnessed the discussion of several things, including the dues of the Kurdistan region and the delivery of oil imports to SOMO and other files," pointing out that "the Kurdistan delegation presented its demands to the federal government." He noted that the two sides are scheduled to agree on several things by the middle of this week.  LINK

Godlover:  So the article states the two sides are scheduled to agree on several things by the middle of this week...…..we will see, imo. I am hoping the oil & gas law will be one of the agreements. Hopefully this can be resolved soon enough so they can get the 2020 budget voted on without many more delays imo.

She stressed that "the Commission on Parliamentary Integrity owns the names of banks and personalities involved in corruption of currency auction, where there are many of them used the period after 2014 to increase its funds." LINK

MilitiaMan:  This is slated for today... Interesting timing again.. Frank mentioned there are many corrupt on a list in regard to auctions. Last nights UT is packed with data imo.. All about timing.

Add in the timing of the NSCNs being in the process of lifting the three zero notes right now for a rate change. ("CBI is now in the process of lifting 3 zero notes for a rate change, because of the three zero notes." ~ Frank26 UT 11/22/2019)

Those are two powerful things that the Citizens demand. Purchase Power is a biggy, imo.

The post 19 (see below) speaks of creating the environment to do just that with the exchange of NSCNs for the larger ones.. imo.. ~ Fascinating time we are in.. Keep talking CBI..  lol ~ MM

Don961: (Post 19) Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Mohammed Dagher: * It is the exchange rate, gentlemen

21/11/2019

While the exchange rate tends to indicate the number of units of one currency versus one unit of another currency, its changes, and this is important, reflect the monetary equation for deducting part of the purchasing power (when reducing), and enhancing the purchasing power of the monetary unit (on the rise), The problem associated with deduction or enhancement is that it enters the purchasing power without taking into account the income segment, ie, it is an additional tax at (decline) and additional income at (rise) without correlation with the level of income.

Therefore, the choice of the Exchange Regime system is central to following the results of exchange rate fluctuations (currency value) as well as determining the channel of transmission of its effect to the real macroeconomic joints.

The significant effect of currency fluctuation or change has been reflected in the exchange system option between a multi-spectrum floating system and a multi-spectrum fixed exchange system (Peg). It is rare for monetary authorities to clearly state the nature of their exchange system (de jure), but the actual transactions (de facto) are determined by specialists on the basis of the exchange system and its specific spectrum.
