Anti-corruption reveals the resolution of 8 thousand files so far
The Supreme Council for Combating Corruption announced today, Saturday, the resolution of about eight thousand files of corruption out of 12 files, indicating that the delay in resolving those files was not due to the judiciary, but because of administrative investigations.
Council member Saeed Yassin Moussa said in a statement that “the exceptional measures taken by the Supreme Judicial Council to initiate effective anti-corruption measures will lead to the resolution of more than 12,000 cases of corruption previously protected due to delays in administrative procedures that represented An impregnable fence to protect the corrupt. ”
Moussa added that "the delay in resolving these files was not because of the judiciary, but because of administrative investigations that the head of the department - who is a minister or deputy - was entitled to delay for various reasons, and therefore do not reach the judiciary to decide, which is now exceeded."
He pointed out that “of the 12 thousand files of corruption had been resolved about 8000 thousand of them, while remaining important issues are thousands. Therefore, such decisive measures have now begun to set the record straight. link
