Signing A Memorandum Of Understanding Between The Kurdistan Peshmerga And The US Department Of Defense
The Presidency of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced today, Wednesday, the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the US Department of Defense and the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs in the regional government.
The presidency said in a statement that the US Assistant Secretary of Defense, Celeste Wallander, signed with the Minister of Peshmerga Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Shorsh Ismail Abdullah, the updated memorandum of understanding between the US Department of Defense and the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs, for the purpose of continuing to support the Peshmerga in the operations of the final destruction of ISIS.
She added, "This memorandum of understanding, which was first signed in 2016, reflects the long-term coordination between the United States and the people of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and their joint commitment to the final elimination of ISIS," explaining, "Through this memorandum of understanding, the United States of America renews its commitment to support The role and participation of the Peshmerga forces, as one of the components of the Iraqi security forces, in the operations to destroy ISIS.

The Federal Court Issues A Decision Regarding The Steps To Establish The National Oil Company
