Barzani Calls On Baghdad To Send The Region's Share Of The Budget "As Soon As Possible"

At the beginning of the meeting, the British ambassador strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks on Erbil, once again supporting the International Coalition for the Kurdistan Region, and said that they are in contact with the Iraqi government to put an end to the attacks.
It was also emphasized in the meeting, the importance of implementing the general budget law and sending financial dues to the Kurdistan Region by the federal government.
The British ambassador praised the reforms being implemented by the Kurdistan Regional Government, especially in the Ministry of Peshmerga, and expressed his country's readiness to support the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The Prime Minister thanked Britain and the International Coalition for their support and position, and called on the federal government to implement its obligations towards the Kurdistan Region, especially the General Budget Law, and to send the region’s share as soon as possible.

The daily bulletin stated, "The purchases amounting to 191 million and 111 thousand dollars went to strengthen the funds abroad in the form of transfers and appropriations, while the remaining 7 million and 210 thousand dollars went in cash."
It indicated that "31 banks have met requests to enhance assets abroad, 14 banks to meet cash requests, and 7 banking companies participated in the auction."
