Al-Kazemi's Advisor: The 2022 Budget Will Focus On Implementing Investment Projects

During The Past Week, The Increase In Iraq's Oil Exports To America

Economie| 09:26 - 28/11/2021   Follow-up - Mawazine News, the US Energy Information Administration announced, on Sunday, that Iraq's oil exports to the United States increased during the past week.

The administration said in a report seen by Mawazine News, that "the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine countries amounted to 5.555 million barrels per day, an increase of 113 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous week, which amounted to 5.442 million barrels per day."

She added, "America imported crude oil from Iraq at a rate of 245,000 barrels per day during the past week, higher than the previous week, in which the average exports amounted to 42,000 barrels per day," noting that "most of America's oil revenues during the past week came from Canada, at a rate of 42,000 barrels per day."

Jordanian Minister Of Energy: The Infrastructure For The Electrical Connection With Iraq Will Soon Be Ready

Political  04:24 - 28/11/2021     Baghdad - Mawazine News.   The Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, said that by the end of this year, the infrastructure will be ready to transfer Jordanian electricity to Lebanon via Syria.

The Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources added in a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Muhammad Shaker: "The Kingdom has agreed with Egypt to strengthen the electrical connection between the two countries to raise the electric capacity to 1000 megawatts or 2000 megawatts at a later time instead of 500 megawatts."

Kharabsheh indicated that the agreement contributes to encouraging and developing relations between the two countries, considering that the relationship between Jordan and Egypt is "distinguished in preparation for the expansion of electrical systems in new areas and opening them to new markets."

Completion Of The International Access Gates Project

The Director of Relations and Media at the Ministry's General Company for Communications and Informatics, spokesperson Ahmed Ibrahim, told Al-Sabah: "The ministry has completed the work of linking international access gate devices within 11 border outlets, to control the Internet capacities entering and leaving the country."

And he added, "In the same context, the ministry has allocated three geographical locations within: Baghdad, Basra and Kirkuk, to be locations for the project's devices, in order to collect all capacities in them, and then distribute them among the licensed ISPs in the country."

Ibrahim promised the project "a mainstay in maintaining Iraq's electronic security, eliminating Internet smuggling operations, in addition to supporting the Iraqi economy, in addition to complete control over websites, eliminating fraud and electronic extortion, as well as blocking fake social networking sites that spread rumors." of all kinds.”

And he indicated that the ministry's achievement also of the service management project aims to improve the work of the Internet technically, especially that the General Company for Communications and Informatics is the largest owner of infrastructure in the country, which compelled it to go to manage the communication networks in the manner of services.

The Department of Internet and Communications Services is one of the modern systems that most companies that rent the infrastructure of the Ministry of Communications operate on, especially the mobile companies that pass the service by (transit) through these systems.

The Arab League Is Moving To Guarantee Iraq's Water Quotas

Sunday 28 November 2021   323   Baghdad: Duaa Abdul Amir   The Ministry of Water Resources obtained a decision from the Arab Ministerial Council for Water, according to which the Arab League should approach all neighboring countries to guarantee Iraq's water quotas, and this comes at a time when Iran cut off the water supply to Kurdistan by 100 percent.

The ministry's spokesman and director of the National Center for Resource Management, Hatem Hamid, told "Al-Sabah": "The ministry asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to internationalize the issue of water, as Iran has been cutting off the common rivers from Iraq since last summer, while other periods are in it. Very low costs."

He added, "Most of the border cities with Iran were affected by these measures, and they caused problems in the rise of salt in the Shatt al-Arab, as a result of cutting off the waters of the Karun River, as well as the decline in the areas of flooding as a result of cutting off the waters of the river.
