Next Week .. Begin Amending The Federal Court Law

Sunday 01 November 2020  110   Baghdad: Morning   The deputy of the Saeron Alliance, Riyadh Al-Masoudi, suggested that Parliament will initiate amending the Federal Court Act or amend the current law early next week.

Al-Masoudi said in a press statement: "Disrupting the Federal Court Law means disrupting the electoral process and will leave a clear constitutional vacuum," noting that "the political blocs are intent on completing the Federal Court Law after completing the election law in order to complete the pillars of the electoral process and move the ball from the stadium." Parliament refers to the government so that it can take measures to start the process of preparing for the early elections to be held in June of next year.

He added, "Parliament faces two directions with regard to the Federal Court, the first of which is a draft bill to amend the Federal Court submitted by the Presidency of the Republic. Representative Finance: The Government Can Borrow And Pay Salaries Before The Law Is Enacted

Sunday 01 November 2020  152  Baghdad: Shaima Rasheed  The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the government can borrow to meet the deficit in the salaries of employees for the month of October without waiting for the legislation of the 2020 budget deficit law, indicating that the government is missing one and a half trillion dinars to pay salaries.

Committee member Jamal Cougar explained to "Al-Sabah" that the government will resort to borrowing until Parliament legislates the budget deficit law because it is the only solution available to it, stressing that the law will pass to vote because everyone is fully convinced that the government should be granted the authority to borrow and the disagreement is limited to the amount no more.
